“I know life in Israel will be better – I will be more free to be Jewish, and that’s what I’m looking so forward to.” The Jewish nation lives. #NeverAgain

100 immigrants from France shed tears of joy as they arrive in Israel

PARIS – As the sun rose over Paris, several Jewish families, singles and youngsters made their way to Charles de Gaulle Airport, bags packed and passports in hand.

Some 100 immigrants from France making aliyah with the Jewish Agency were about to embark on the journey of a lifetime on Wednesday.

Pushing their trolleys laden with luggage, while family members not joining them trailed behind clearly emotional, the immigrants shared their readiness for their one-way flight.

“It’s all culminated to this moment,” one young immigrant told The Jerusalem Post. “I’ve prepared and prepared, and now it’s here. I’m coming.”

Families kissed each other goodbye, tears streaming down their faces. A kiss on one cheek and then the other.
“Good luck, mon ami [sweetheart],” a mother told her son.

Despite tears, and some visible nervousness, there was also a lot of excitement.

“It’s hard to be saying goodbye to my family, but I hope they will follow me…. I’m confident they will,” one young man said. “I know life in Israel will be better – I will be more free to be Jewish, and that’s what I’m looking so forward to.”

The youngest person making aliyah on Wednesday’s flight was a two-month-old, while the oldest is 79 years old.

At the boarding gate, a husband put his arm around his wife as they waited to board the flight, while others chatted excitedly.

The Post watched as some parents kissed their children to comfort them, while a young mother fed her small baby.

Some looked exhausted but relieved that they were finally on their way.

As we headed to the plane, we noticed small Israeli flags that lined the entrance to the aircraft, and passengers were welcomed warmly by El Al staff.

As we all took our seats, the new immigrants began clapping as they were welcomed over the intercom. Some of the youth came on board singing songs and waving Israeli flags.

Aboard the flight there was incredible energy, as the realization was setting in that they were finally coming home.

As we landed in Tel Aviv, the entire plane burst into applause and singing. There were only yells of excitement and tears of joy as the plane came to a stop.

Jewish Agency Chairman Isaac Herzog came onto the plane to welcome and meet some of the immigrants.

A huge reception waited for the olim with family, friends and other new immigrants from South Africa, Russia and South America waving flags, blowing shofars, cheering and singing.

Chief Sephardi Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef and several government officials, including Aliyah and Integration Minister Yoav Gallant, were a part of the welcoming delegation.

Yosef told the immigrants what a massive mitzvah they were doing and welcomed them all with open arms, while Gallant stressed how important their decision was to make Israel their home.

Herzog warmly told them he was so excited that they were finally here and thanked them for making this big decision.
“You are Israelis – and that is everything,” he said.

Later, the band at the event broke out in song and the entire group stood up, singing and dancing.

One of the young French immigrants who spoke with the Post earlier in the day struggled to hold in his joy after landing.

“I can’t believe we finally made it,” he said. “I’m here, I’m here. What a dream come true.”

Every Jew leaving France makes France dumb and dumber and losing prestige because France is losing opportunities of developing and properly managing the country. That’s the IQ drop bomb
I am sad for my country

It is good and bad. Good that Jews escaped the evils of Europe. Bad in there being less Jews in Europe to fight back. It allows the evils of Islam to grow and gives them more confidence and ability to attack Jews while escaping any punishment. Less Jewish pressure can be out on governments if none are left. Plus with more Jews concentrated in Israel it gives their enemies a chance at collective destruction.

Israel is a pretty dangerous place to live thanks to Palestinian Muslims slaughtering innocent people. Perhaps running away isn’t the answer. Shouldn’t they instead start litigating the crap out of the French government to remove the threat of Islam to everyone, not just Jews?

You’re abandoning the innocent in France. Disadvantaging the innocent left behind. For what? More danger in Israel? Not saying to run away from Israel, either, I’m saying for being Israelites, you certainly lack the faith, power, and courage of David.

that didn’t work the jeeews in europe in the 1930’s. they’d be fools to stick around this time. the french keep electing people who are obviously trying to transform france into a muslim country; they are beyond help at this time. really no different than the germans choosing to vote for hitler

now that’s a new one. you’re telling me that there were a lot of muslims in germany in the 1930’s, and that the blue-eyed, blond-haired folks did not vote for hitler? i’ll need to see some supporting facts for that one

I don’t think they want to wait around until Europe becomes WW2 Europe again.
(this time with politically correct Neo-nazis (muslim Nationalists).

I’m not Jewish, but I can understand some human nature. I’d leave too.

They can still move to Israel. But I would like to see them testify in the Senate here in the US.

Very few people are aware of Jewish Flight from Europe.

I agree, and their stories and reason for leaving should be collected and shared with the world. 90% probably leave because of the rising antisemitism that has first affected Europe and is now on our own shores. Trump is fighting it and being called a “raacist.”

I think it’s fine that people migrate, etc, but it universally disadvantages the innocent left behind.

Everywhere. In every circumstance.

Israel benefits. France and the French lose. And evil (Islam) wins another nation to abuse the rest of us with.

Cowardly acts like running away are why evil keeps winning. If good people had not been cowards from the beginning of Islam, it would not now exist.

We will watch the Christians flee next. France is gonna see some dark days coming, I fear. I bet that France’s tourism has dropped. I wouldn’t go to France even if someone paid me to go. No way! The people of France shouldn’t have elected Macron.
Macron should be investaged along with Trudeu. They both must have a secret stash of blood money somewhere & I bet both have lots of skeletons in their closets that they don’t want anyone to know about.
Can’t wait for their dirty deeds to be exposed!

Macron is a traitor to France and should be hanged as was Saddam Hussein and Mussolini. Tyrants! LePenn is the only hope for France and unless they set up armed military to prevent immigration overload then she is lost.
My ancestors fought for France in WW1 and I have traced my family tree back since. It is shameful Macron has allowed her to be invaded, ravaged and raped by those who have neither pride or love for her, its history, traditions or her future. Remove him by force.

Same with Jewish folks in the UK. Wish Trump would encourage them to come to the US and testify.

They could try to tell their stories in Canada except Trudeau is a rabid sharia supporter, rabid to the point where he rewarded a convicted ISIS killer after he killed an American soldier and blinded another. Rewarded with $10.5 million. Trudeau is a danger to America. Trudeau is offensive.comment image

I am not a religious fanatic by any means but I have read my bible from front to back, Old Testament to New and I am seeing with my own eyes, the prophecies foretold in the book of Revelation. It says Gods chosen people (which are Israelites) will flock back to their homelands because of worldwide persecution. It has begun. We are seeing Jews heading for Israel in droves and it’s no coincidence. The scary thing is, there’s a lot worse yet to come for the world but in the end…God wins the fight between good and evil…the fight with the world against Israel and the fight between eternal life and damnation! It is written and shall come to pass….be ready my friends

Please never apologize for your familiarity with God’s Holy Word (“I’m not a religious fanatic…”).

Yes Donna, I too have had that shock of recognition but mine started about 10 yrs. ago with the Scripture “The time will come when men will call evil good, and good evil.” -Isaiah 5:20. I heard our priest preach on that one Sunday and thought, hmm, how would that work exactly?

Of course we see it now: NY Legislature jumping for joy after passing infanticide laws; homosexuals and lesbians (I refuse to call them the lovely word ‘gay’) “marrying” each other; patriotism=racism=white supremacy=you-name-it; and our great President who is cleaning up after all the presidents in my lifetime is the source of all wrongs.

Yes Donna, I am ready and I praise God that “He wins the fight”.

I would have liked some direct quotes from these French Jews as to WHY they are seeking asylum in Israel.
WHY and HOW are they being persecuted in France for being Jewish and, by WHOM exactly?
I will automatically assume it’s Muslims and Leftist Antifa….but I would like to know if any identifiable white supremacist neo-Nazis are involved. Merkel blames the latter for anti-Semitism in Germany.
Nonetheless, it’s deja vu pre-WWII Germany happening all over Europe…and no one in the WEST seems to care…apparently they all FORGOT about the Holocaust and Europe is on the path to repeat an ethnic cleansing …not just with Jews but with all non-Muslims this time.

This is exactly why Israel must have more land, a bigger country, a larger home. They are fleeing for their lives to get away from viscous hateful violent Muslims and Islam.

While I fully understand the desire to move to Israel, I am saddened by the further weakening of Jewry in Europe who have contributed so much to the building of Western Civilization.

I pray that God blesses them and brings them great joy in their true homeland. I cried while reading it. I worry for all those in the path of Islam and I pray that God returns all the land he gave to the Jewish people.

The war against Islam can not be won with a quill – we need to use the Old Testament “eye for an eye, tooth to tooth”.
Israel is the only country the muslims are fearing and respecting, but the vicious brainwashed cowards among the Israelis try to undermine this just battle. Destroy Islam and the world will be 1000 times more peaceful!
