There is a petition asking for the resignation of a Florida principal who wrote that he could not say the Holocaust was a “factual, historical event.” He should be fired. Period. But sign it anyway. SIGN PETITION HERE.
The things I saw beggar description. While I was touring the camp I encountered three men who had been inmates and by one ruse or another had made their escape. I interviewed them through an interpreter. The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me sick. In one room, where they [there] were piled up twenty or thirty naked men, killed by starvation, George Patton would not even enter. He said he would get sick if he did so.

A petition has been formed asking for the resignation of a Florida principal who wrote that he could not say the Holocaust was a “factual, historical event.”

A mother from Boca Raton, Florida, has been fighting this past year with her son’s school district. She is demanding proper Holocaust education following the principal’s writing that he could not say that the Holocaust was a historical fact.
In April 2018, a mother, who asked to remain anonymous to protect her child’s identity, wrote to the principal of Spanish River High School, asking if Holocaust education was an educational “priority.”
School Principal Denies Holocaust
The principal, William Latson, replied that the school ran a variety of activities, however, lessons were “not forced upon individuals as we all have the same rights but not all the same beliefs.”
The stunned mother, hoping that the principal had expressed himself poorly, asked for clarification, saying, “The Holocaust is a factual, historical event. It is not a right or a belief.”
According to email records obtained by The Palm Beach Post through a public records request, Latson responded, “Not everyone believes the Holocaust happened. And you have your thoughts, but we are a public school and not all of our parents have the same beliefs.”
He also claimed that as a school district employee, he must remain “politically neutral” on the topic. “I can’t say the Holocaust is a factual, historical event because I am not in a position to do so as a school district employee,” he wrote.
Campaign Launched
Following this principal’s shocking responses, the mother launched a year-long campaign, noting that Latson had failed to separate truth from myth about the Holocaust that claimed the lives of 6 million Jews along with millions of others.
Mothers gathered with Latson and the school board to discuss the disturbing letters as well as hoping to improve Holocaust education at the school.
Deputy School Superintendent Keith Oswald agreed that “Latson’s email messages were inappropriate but were not reflective of who he was as an educator,” according to the Post.
“It was a hastily, poorly written email that he apologized for,” Oswald said. “That’s some of the challenge that we face when we email back and forth instead of picking up the phone.”
As reported by the Post, the mother does not consider Latson anti-Semitic, nor does she believe that he thinks that the Holocaust never happened. However, she does suspect that his statements stem from fear of backlash from parents who do deny the reality of the Holocaust.
Questionable Apology
In a statement to the Post, Latson apologized.
“I regret that the verbiage that I used when responding to an email message from a parent, one year ago, did not accurately reflect my professional and personal commitment to educating all students about the atrocities of the Holocaust,” he wrote. “It is critical that, as a society, we hold dear the memory of the victims and hold fast to our commitment to counter anti-Semitism.”
The mother’s activism caused the school district’s upper ranks to “grapple with whether and how to admonish a longtime principal of a high-performing school for his troubling statements,” reported the Post. However, as reported, Latson has not been formally disciplined for his statements.
According to the Post, the agreed-upon Holocaust educational changes have not been implemented.

“The Holocaust is a historical fact,” said Palm Beach County School Board member Karen Brill, the only Jewish member of the board, according to the records. “I am appalled that anyone in our district believes that its teaching may be opted out of.”
Brill added that she no longer has faith in Latson’s leadership, according to the minutes from the meeting obtained by the Post.
A petition has been set up asking Latson to resign.

What an ignorant bigot! I have talked with KL survivors(including Auschwitz) and with SS/HJ and Wehrmacht veterans (all dead by now i would expect) and I have a collection of biographies from such dated from before truth became political. The KLs made me into an agnostic at 14 as NO god is worth following if he/she allows such. It wasn’t just the murders but the everyday humiliation and brutal treatment of those within the KLs. The irony is that the gulags were NO better and the deaths there were in the millions and that was without industrial killing but no one says anything about the communist scum who also did similar in Cambodia, China, Cuba etc. All such fools as this guy do is prove their undiluted ignorance. IMO he should be immediately sacked.

Agreed. In his “Crusade in Europe”, General (and later President) Eisenhower states that upon liberating the death camps in the Spring of ’45, the abject horror found was beyond belief of the average citizen anywhere. For this reason, he had Army photographers and videographers document all that was found.

There is a French documentary movie showing scenes of KL liberation. In Auschwitz ther are a series of books still available(last I heard) about the camps including Rudolph Hoess’s account of his time as commander of Auschwitz.

And Drew–He told em to take as many photos as possible as there would come a day when it would be denied! And that day is here. I was 13–16 during WWII. Everyone was in that war. I knocked on doors and collected alum. pots for the war effort. also news papers and comic books (which I wish that I still had as they now are worth a small fortune). We got a lot of our news about the war in news specials at the movies. We saw the liberation of the camps and films of the military rousting out the population of whole villages near the camps that were made to bury the many, many bodies. I will tell that nut that it was ALL real. History and Nat, Geo.channels still carry films about the lib of the camps today!! ALL that say it is not true have got their heads where the sun don’t shine!! We lost so many men that 18 and 19 year kids finished that war. I know as I lived it!!

He just didnt want to do it and took a gamble that no parent would call him on it. He lost. As a principal, he KNOWS when he communicates to parents, he is doing so in an official capacity and that what he says will be taken very seriously. To now come out with this double speak, is disingenuous and a weak attempt at saving his skin. If he wants to keep his job, he should be forced to volunteer at a holocaust museum, donate a portion of his income to a holocaust survivors fund, and fly to Auschwitz (at his own expense), to learn just how stupid he really was in making that statement.

This made me think… when I was in public school I don’t remember being taught about the Holocaust either.
I didn’t learn about it until my parents pulled me out of public school & sent me to a Private Christian School. There I also learned how important it was to support Israel & how we as Christians must never turn our backs on Israel or its people.

Psychology rejects philosophy as delusion.
I don’t see us on the same page. Psychological equality dictates that all human beings were created equal. Individuals may have life experiences including physical or chemical damages to their bodies disadvantaging them on some level including intellectually but we’re all created equal. Psychology has a tremendous amount of science, especially medical science involved in it’s precepts. Many philosophical elements exist in members of the psychology profession who have mental health problems which are basically an acquired learning disability.
I think you mean well but historical depictions of the Holocaust and events leading up to it have had Muslims Kicking and screaming racism and discrimination for their parts in it’s existence.
They changed history for all minorities for similar reasons. It has the effect of creating a false idea that whites were only acting out of prejudice, hatred, etc, when all they did in American history is protect themselves from actual threats!
It’s unfortunate but if you know African history up to present day, they have always had these issues. There are individuals who are not violent and Supremacy minded but they are absolutely the exception and not the rule.
Ditto for Hispanic nations, islamic people, and some East Asian natures. Island groups have very savage histories.
Christianity helped eliminate a great deal of social norms in these groups. It’s a culture we caucasians can not and do not respect.
We exalt our safety, mutual respect, and definitely academic pursuits for truth.
When you say what you say, you exalt individuals to a Supremacy level as they evidently have superior character.
There are good and bad people in every group but statistically speaking blacks and Muslims are equally a threat in Africa.
Pagan blacks, not Christian blacks.
Jews have Supremacy Issues in certain groups as well but none of these character flaws are genetic.

For instance, if Islam were actually superior, Islamic nations would be the safest, most advanced nations on earth that all Muslims love and have no interest in leaving. The opposite is true.
If Hispanic culture were superior people would flock to their countries because they’d be the safest, most advanced, most equality minded places on earth. No one would ever consider migrating! Ditto for African or island nations.
People come to Caucasian majority nations because they are safer, more free, more equality minded, and more prosperous.
But most of all because we are welcoming and accepting of all until they try to kill us or abuse us out of our culture, safety, and humanity.
We reject cultures that abuse. This means we don’t like violent, mean, destructive people who talk down to us as if they’re better than we are and their culture is better than ours is.

How well is public education doing right now? Do you mean you prefer the government to control education? The Muslims do too, and once they get control of government learning Islam, the Koran, and Sharia will be mandatory.
The Free Market will take care of who builds the schools for profit, the parents will pay the tuition out of their own pocket, giving the customer a strong incentive to see that his kids are actually getting the education he is paying for, different schools will charge different prices according to supply and demand and competition. The paying customer is king, if he becomes unhappy he takes his money and children elsewhere, making the schools directly accountable to the paying customer. Now just how many Americans are going to tolerate the teaching of Islam on their hard earned dollar?! Getting a basic education should not be, and would not be, prohibitively expensive, it is government intervention, and government funding, with little direct accountability, that has made the education industry so expensive. Just as medicare and medicaid have driven medical costs and insurance to go through the roof.
The Muslims are eager for Jizya, they love nothing more than having the kuffar Americans being taxed to teach their children.

Black people were also brought to nazi-concentration camps, tortured and eventually murdered during the war, Mr.principal. This is a historical fact about which little is known by historians and in school- books this isn`t even mentioned.
I suspect the principal`s reaction is due to a massive muslim presence in his school.
Here in Europe many schools skip the holocaust in history-lessons because they fear the reaction of their muslim students and their families.

The Nazis, fortunately for history, were meticulous record keepers and the sheer size of the Holocaust over many countries was not something that could be hidden. Then there are the many survivors. Why would the post Nazi German govt. admit it and pay huge reparations if it did not happen? To suggest otherwise is ignorant and stupid to say the least. No educationist should be allowed to hold a job if he thinks like that.
My cousin was one of many British and US soldiers who liberated the comps ( not to mention the Russians) so I know it was true.
Denying the Holocaust is a punishable offence in many countries!

If I were to interrogate this principal I would be very interested n determining where he learned that the “Holocaust is not an established historical fact.” I expect he learned it from the very textbooks that our children are provided pub shed by Pearson Education, which textbooks ignore and trivialize the Holocaust and other atrocities committed by both the Nazis and the Communists. This principal is probably not a bad man,but most probably another victim of the Commiecra/LibTard/Progressive education system. I suggest he be provided with the facts and allowed to apologize and admit he was both wrong and wrongly informed.

One only has to read Rudolf Hoess account of his command of Auschwitz to know that during his tenure 3 million people were slaughtered there. It’s amazing to me that these liars maintain that the Holocaust is not an established fact when there is plenty of documentation to support it.

Anyone who seriously investigates the so-called Holocaust will no longer say that it’s a factual historical event because it isn’t. Once you come to the realization that you’ve been lied to your entire life, it’s impossible going back to being a Holocaust believing idiot. This is why Holocaust denial laws exist in several countries that punish people with heavy fines and prison time for questioning any part of the official narrative. I think the US government, Congress or President, should make a proclamation that the Holocaust was a real, historical event.
I wouldn’t expect the US government, Congress and President to go so far as to make legislation criminalizing Holocaust denial, as it is in Germany and some other European countries, but I think they could have a congressional resolution that the Holocaust was a real event, and if they failed to do so, then the President could issue a Presidential proclamation that the Holocaust was a real, historical event.
