I wanna be a lifeguard on an open thread

???? I want an ocean and some sunscreen lotion ????

Evokes the free, fun, happy days of my well spent youth. It ain’t deep, it’s just infectious.

Who remembers? America pre-jihad. How could we know how bloody great it all was?

Story continues below advertisement

Summer blondes
Revealing tanlines
I’ll make more moves than Allied Van Lines

I wanna be a lifeguard, by Blotto

Selling shoes
Another loser working in a shopping mall
9 to 5
A slave driver telling me “Get on the ball!”
A crowded store
I kneel before them
Misery beyond compare
Sweaty socks
A lady boxer
What’s she got against fresh air?

I want an ocean and some sunscreen lotion
Take me to the beach with a thousand pretty girls in reach

I, I, I want to be a lifeguard (help, help, help, help)
I, I, I want to guard your life
I, I, I want to be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)
Hardly any clothes (lifeguard)
Sand between my toes (lifeguard)
White stuff on my nose

Selling shoes
Another loser working in a shopping mall
I’m getting fat
What does it matter?
Nobody cares at all
But next July, I’ll say goodbye to every out-of-it, dull-witted fool
Convert their feet into meters, marking distance at the swimming pool
Summer blondes revealing tanlines
I’ll make more moves than Allied Van Lines

I, I, I want to be a lifeguard (be a big man, now get a great tan, now)
I, I, I want to guard your life
I, I, I want to be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)
Sitting on my chair (lifeguard)
In the salty air (lifeguard)
White stuff on my nose
I, I, I want to be a lifeguard (help, help, help, help)
I, I, I want to guard your life
I, I, I want to be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)
Lounging on the deck (lifeguard)
Whistle ’round my neck (lifeguard)
White stuff in my nose
I, I, I want to be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)

Yes miss the good old days and was able to do things not like the youth of today that are not so lucky with our freedoms going.

But here is my thoughts on Global Warming, and remember my first dust storms as they crossed Eastern Australia also giving Australia Ash Wedneday Bushfires duringbthe esrly 1980’s. Forgive me for errors, not much of a writter, but hope you will reflect on it as they push Global Warming. Just think trillions of trees that could have absorbed 5 tonnes of carbon esch and given of valuable oxygen all gone and nothing to replace the soil. No a drop of moisture in the soil.

It’s more a Global shift in weather due to the mass deforestation, clearing the size of England and Wales each year or 502,000 square miles between 1960 and 2016, from Guardian, World Bankand National Geographic.

Each tree absorbs 5 tonnes of Carbon also gives of vital Oxygen. The leaves undergrowth decays renews soil, nitogen, holds the soil, contains water as runoffs. Provides temperature control, shelter, organisms, insects, birds, wildlife and myriads of other things, including food, filters the water, somone has clear, clean water. Removing rainforests is just stupidity or forests for seeking mineral wealth and turning land into GMO crops that just does not do the job of forests. Where is the water runoffs that feed the streams, river’s when no rain

Removing that we are stripping our survival, and cloud seeding just alters where rain should have fallen. How many dust storms do you hear about, plenty now in Australia, one forgets the Dust Bowl of the USA, killed thousands over years with the dust in the lungs. Many forced of the land to head to cities during the depression, no jobs, no shelter, no food for many. Many would have died of starvation.

Dams rely on water, and they are at risk if not feed by streans, rivers, so our farms cities are at risk of going short. Already been water restrictions and it is winter when dams should be full across Australia and they bring in more people to replace the children of today that they do not educate

We plant less than we strip, and usually plantations and not natural trees, undergrowth

A good rational head on your shoulders, logic and common sense abound. You must be in a cave somewhere after all everyone, yes, everyone knows that it’s all the coal that’s the bad guy.
Oh, you forgot “chem-trails disguised as contrails” to hide the Suns heat that is the cause of global warming and all that other stuff.

Keep thinking like that and you will be banned AND censored from all social sites and helpless SJWs.
Wait, would that be a bad thing?

Absolutely! Thank you for that full description. The basics of life: trees and green plants breathe out oxygen and breathe in co2, we do the reverse. I learned that at school, those are FACTS, kids are not told that today

Ha, ha, how did I ever miss these guys?! Pam, I’m guessing 1982ish, maybe New Jersey band? Sorry, I’m from the south, we never heard this, but fun. Some guys with their video camera and a FOUR minute long song, hahahaaaa. Right you are, we were pretty innocent, but thought we were badass back then. Now we see what our kids are doing and just think, “Wow. We were so conservative, really.”
