Maxine Waters Takes Iran’s Side in Dispute Over Drone Shoot Down

So while not surprising it’s still a bit shocking to see a Democrat member of Congress give aid and comfort to our enemies and take their side in any dispute.
Senior Democratic Party leader Rep. Maxine Waters just took the side of the Iranians in the dispute over the drone shoot down and basically echoed the propaganda of the mullahs.
In a tweet Waters wrote “Trump, you get no credit for so-called stopping the strike against Iran. Why was the unmanned drone in Iran’s airspace? Why the surveillance? Don’t provoke and then pretend innocence.”

Check out California 43rd congressional district. One of the most impoverished in the United States. Rep. Maxine Waters has “represented” this district for almost 3 decades, while residing in a $4.5 million mansion in California’s affluent 37th congressional district. Disgraceful!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. It is far more likely that some combo of US/Israel/House of Saud did this. The damage was above the water line, so the official story about a naval mine was a lie by warmongers. This is common practice in DC/Tel Aviv, I can’t believe some people actually believe these official stories. I guess the same people who bought into the White Helmets/ Assad the poison gasser fairy tales.

Agreed, that’s the fatal flaw of the Democrats, which makes them easy to manipulate by our enemies since the Dems, being useful idiots, don’t see them as a threat.
Conversely this makes them more of a danger to the US because they’ll refuse to compromise with the Right on how to deal with mortal foes.
They will hinder also and sometimes even commit treason to undermine what our president is trying to do. Also it’s possible many of them have been bribed like Shillary to back anti-American policies.

One thing I learned going to a Liberal university is that you were taught the US gov’t was almost always the bad guy. It was only when I started reading books other than Noam Chomsky and Leftist intellectuals, that I realize it wasn’t always so black and white. Granted some of it is true, war-profiteering, propaganda, etc does happen but the US also faced real enemies that sought it’s destruction.
The trouble with the Left is that they exist in their own little bubble where they think only their worldview is the right one. More disturbing however is their turning a blind eye to valid arguments made by the Conservative side and by the enemies of America. Additionally, Leftists would find a way of claiming the root cause was the US somehow even if some bad actor attacked us from nowhere.
For instance, they claimed Osama bin Laden attacked us, because we backed the Taliban against Russia and due to other entanglements in the mideast and elsewhere. They refuse to accept that sometimes evil ideologies existed long before the US (like Islam) and that we’re only having to deal with it now.
So this is why you have Leftist ideologues like Maxine Waters and Geraldo blaming Trump and refusing to accept that Iran hold any culpability in our present conflict. Now in the past this could be almost comical and not taken seriously because previous enemies didn’t present an existential threat. But Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, China and even Russia really do present a serious danger because they all have nuclear weapons (or on the verge of getting them).
What we need most now is unity between the parties because these dangers are very real, esp Iran. Division might cause us to hesitate or pull back from a fight when the proper thing to do is to bomb and attack our enemies before they get nukes to use against us. Trump really can’t treat this lightly. He needs the Left to understand this isn’t politics as usual and if they have a better idea to deal with Iran, he’d be willing to hear it.
If the Dems can’t come up with a superior solution then they need to either support him or get out of the way and let him solve what Obama, the Clintons and the Bush’s failed to do.

Probably not right this minute, but it would not take long for Iran to increase enrichment to produce enough weapons grade uranium for a nuclear weapon. And they have a delivery system already.

Yes but they’re very close, apparently only 3-6 mths away once they enrich to weapons grade levels, but I’ve amended my sentence accordingly. Given their ties to China, Russia, NK and Pakistan it’s possible their program is more advanced than we realize.

I have seen respectable “conservative” commentators on social media take the “bankers war” stand on this Iranian issue too. I can’t blame them for their “suspicions”, but the current hostility is real and is directed at our ally, as well as the potential for nuclear weaponry and the threat that that would be to world stability.
700 rockets get fired into Israel, so Trump sends in the 7th fleet, as he should have, as a deterrent to any escalation. Did the US or Israel fire those rockets to warmonger a conflict for profit, or perhaps Trump withdrew those troops earlier knowing that it would provoke Iran to rattle her sabres – These are exaggerations of course, but the opportunity to read too much into things must be weighed against available evidence.
I believe there are plenty of conspiracies that make it from the theory table to the fact table, but each circumstance must be evaluated on its’ own merits or lack thereof. Painting everything with the same brush in the geopolitical world can be as dangerous a thing as not considering past indiscretions can be.

By taking the side of Iran, who claims that the U. S. drone they shot down was in their airspace, she gives aid, solace and comfort to a nation that constantly chants “Death to America!”
Without any evidence (but what else is new for Democrats), she asks, “Why was the unmanned drone in Iran’s airspace? Why in the name of God do Congressmen/women take an Oath of Office to defend the US Constitution if there is no one person or committee to monitor their compliance with such an oath and to oust them if they do the exact opposite? Maxine, like all obedient apparatchiks, is well taken care of by her masters. I would expect that she would be a reliable advocate. Anyway, Maxine and her Commiecrats are rapidly turning all of California into an impoverished, wretched, filthy, feces-covered, fly swarming refugee camp, which will soon envelop her own home as well. I hesitated to comment on this, but feel compelled to do so.
Maxine (an admitted socialist/communist) doesn’t ‘concern herself’ with the people (my black brothers and sisters) who live in her impoverished district because they’re not ‘concerned’ about themselves.
The dreadful conditions of that district have been on steep decline for decades. Yet they blindly and suicidally vote to sustain their own oppression perpetually.
So I feel absolutely no sympathy for them whatsoever.
Neither do I feel sympathy for America-which should have long ago set term-limits. So, therefore, we suffer the consequences.
