Jihad and Jew-Hatred at Public School Graduation Ceremony in Sugarland, Texas

55

A graduation ceremony in Texas looked more like a jihad recruitment ceremony in Ramallah, than a high school graduation in Sugarland, Texas. Geller Report readers are not unfamiliar with Sugarland where Muslim supremacists and their leftwing lapdogs got a talk of mine cancelled at the eleventh hour: Cancelled in Sugarland.

Geller Report reader: “My daughter graduated from the Harmony School of Innovation in Sugar Land, Texas, on Monday, May 27, 2019 (Memorial Day)”

Story continues below advertisement

An outraged parent who attended the graduation ceremony wrote to the school:

I was appalled and shocked that the staff of HSI-Sugar Land allowed a student to wear and then wave a Palestinian flag on the stage of Jones Hall during the 2019 commencement ceremony. It was even more shocking that this occurred on Memorial Day, when “harmony” should be seen prevailing throughout this country and particularly at this HSI-Sugar Land ceremony. The student displayed poor judgment in using this occasion to make whatever political statement he felt justified in trying to make. I am disappointed that the head of HSI-Sugar Land would allow such rude and insensitive behavior to be displayed. Irrespective of what the flag was, this was a ceremony celebrating an American school in an American city. Having pride in one’s country of origin had nothing to do with that day. I was further dismayed that there was no American flag on the stage, although you made an effort to have a graduate recite the Pledge of Allegiance. I hope that HSI-Sugar Land will appreciate the love that many Americans feel towards their country, especially on American holidays but also at any American graduation ceremony. Now that HSI-Sugar Land knows better, it should do better.

The Principal responded:

May 29, 6:12pm

Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts. I agree that the commencement event is about celebrating students’ success at Harmony and it is not a platform for political or personal statements unrelated to the education and success of our graduating class.  As principal of HSI Sugar Land, I assure you that in the future I will discuss our expectations with the students in effort to avoid these actions again.  As far as not having the American and Texas flag present, that was a regrettable oversight.  At Harmony we regularly have both flags present in every classroom and at events.  It was unexpected to not find flags at the hall that we were renting.  Again, something else we will learn from and improve upon.  Thank you.

The public school Harmony’s Turkish founder, Fethullah Gülen has a notorious, subversive reputation.  Fethullah Gulen is an Islamic organization focused on building charter schools in the US  to indoctrinate an entire generation using US taxpayer dollars. Their schools have been raided by the FBI

It has been discovered that Fethullah Gülen, the leader of the Gülen Movement who claims to base his movement on dialogue and tolerance amongst different religions, has previously made radical remarks encouraging Muslims to destroy “infidels.”

Gülen’s call for taking violent action against non-Muslims can be traced to the voice recording of a sermon which he preached in the 1980s following the 1980 coup d’etat, when he left the city of İzmir and traveled to different cities in Anatolia.

Allegedly preaching about the significance of Jerusalem for Muslims, Gülen can be heard crying and criticizing himself and all Muslims for failing to protect the holy city of Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa Mosque.

“A believer should be like a bomb even if the United States of America opposes him/her! He/she should continue by exploding and smashing the head of the infidel!” Gülen screamed, accompanied by a mixture of lamenting and screaming from the audience. He encouraged the screams by saying that the voice of believers should move heaven and earth, and told them to roar.

Gülen then cursed those who did not stand against the occupation of Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa and told his audience to take immediate action by voicing the issue to everyone, including deputies.

In the recording, Gülen can be heard as saying “We will ruin the plots of America and reveal their true side”. These are particularly remarkably radical and controversial sentiments given he has been living in the U.S. in self-imposed exile since 1999.

“We will turn the U.S.’s games upside down in the next 5-10 years,” Gülen is heard saying in the sermon.

A Turkish criminal court issued an arrest warrant last week on Friday for Gülen following a request filed earlier by Istanbul’s chief public prosecutor. It was reported that sufficient concrete evidence has been found, proving Gülen’s involvement in leading a criminal organization and crimes including forgery, fabricating evidence and forming an alleged crime syndicate to overtake the sovereignty of the state.

Gitta Connemann, MP of Merkel’s CDU, told Jerusalem Post on Friday that all of Hezbollah should be banned because the entity is a “terrorist organization.” She wrote: “Tomorrow al-Quds March in Berlin: Islamists and left-wing radicals will march through Berlin unified in antisemitism, hate against Israel. A coalition of horror. And Berlin is watching. A shame. Berlin must act and prohibit the assembly.” https://www.jpost.com/Diaspora/Antisemitism/Merkel-allows-al-Quds-Day-march-amid-rising-Jew-hatred-591308

“In Bed with Government Power: Swiss journalist Frank A. Meyer has accused his German colleagues of a meekly attitude towards the German Chancellor. The reason is the lack of criticism of Merkel after the European elections. The media expert wrote in his Blick column that no newspaper or TV station had blamed the Chancellor for the ‘catastrophic result’ of the CDU and SPD.” https://www.blick.ch/news/politik/fam/frank-a-meyer-die-kolumne-im-bett-id15353465.html

WOW!

The ceremony should have been interrupted and ideally the flags and students removed from the ceremony. I find that even more offensive than graduating Seniors waving Mexican flags. If they are so proud of those countries,
then MOVE THERE! Islam just scored another victory with that being allowed.

Our academia sucks. It should be some law and order for the schools how to proceed in such cases. It’s official ceremony and only American flag should be here. Otherwise WtH are we paying our hard earn money to support this s$$t? For our property taxes sky is a limit. Defund such school districts! And investigate the traitorous administration.

“As far as not having the American and Texas flag present, that was a regrettable oversight.” Said the principal in his response. If he is so inept as a ‘leader’ as to ‘overlook’ not placing the American flag onstage (that should have been his first priority) during a graduation ceremony, perhaps he shouldn’t even be principal at all. And instead singing daily praises to his dear leader in North Korea, or a similar paradise country.

It seems like wherever these people go they don’t try to fit in. They try to impose their values and their religion on everyone else. Looking at the conditions in the Middle East, I don’t want their values and their religion.
The principal of that school should be fired. He avoided trouble by kowtowing to the extremists. Terrible example for the student. And in proud Texas no less.

yawn .frankly one student waiving a palestinian flag at graduation is no biggie .its not like the american students were refused permission to fly us flags. the student might just have been celebrating their heritage not saying jews don’t belong or trying to wage holy war against jews and americans LOL. i’m no fan of anti semitism and believe israel should be left alone to thrive in their one jewish state on earth ,but this seems like a nothing burger pamela

No student was kept from flying a US flag, but the American flag, as well as the flag of Texas were left off the stage! Surely, NOT an oversight!

An oversight to include the American and Texas flags on the graduating stage? Come on, how stupid do you think people are! This was no oversight. As usual, it was done to appease those that find such flags “offensive!” Shame on the school administration!

I am in Texas. Texas is somewhat asleep and not aware of it. We have the largest mosque count and growing here. I have seen numerous full burkas at Costco, it is somewhat shocking to say the least.

My wife was “stared down” by a muslim woman one time in Costco, she told me about after the fact.

I am concerned that people in Texas have their eyes closed to the problems simmering here in this state and I am concerned that our so called conservative legislature is selling the people down the river for money, power and their own gain. If you know people in Texas, urge them to do their homework, vote conservative and be sure to make phone calls to their representatives here to try and keep them voting for the good of citizens.

TEXAS!!!?? Say it ain’t so! Why is there even a school like this in Texas, let alone why would any Texan send their kids to a school founded by—-
“Turkish Fethullah Gülen” who “has a notorious, subversive reputation. Fethullah Gulen is an Islamic organization focused on building charter schools in the US to indoctrinate an entire generation using US taxpayer dollars. Their schools have been raided by the FBI.”
Texans are not only “asleep,” they must be brain dead. Too little and too late for that parent to be “outraged.” Do you have to be hit over the head with a brick to realize anything connected to Islam is anti-freedom and anti-American?

I was surprised to see all that stuff here when I moved to Texas from the PNW. If you want to see how Texas will turn out if it stays on this path, just look at Oregon and Washington. There is YouTube video call “Portland is a sh*thole”. That is what it will become. I see the writing on the walls. Lived it, seen it first hand go from normal to whacko…Texas probably has about 10-15yrs.

These Gulen schools are subversive and need to be closed. They are milking the taxpayer for their support and propagation across the USA. Erdogan wants this guy back and I bet would pay a nice bounty. I doubt if the State Department will honor his extradition,so it must be privately conducted, which is legal under USA law. We do it all the time for criminals wanted in the USA that are hiding in another country.

I’m confused. If Gulen is such a dyed-in-the-wool Islamist and not an advocate of openness, tolerance, and peace with other religions, why does the chief Islamist of Turkey, Pres. Erdogan, want him chopped into little pieces? Something doesn’t jibe here.
As for the flag-waving (and, lack of it), I’m not prepared to condemn the school over one such incident — students can disrupt the best-planned event. But if it happens again, it’s probably not a coincidence. If it happens three times, it’s “enemy action.” (paraphrasing Ian Fleming)

Uhh with such naming sense, I’d also be an angry teen wanting to vent on anyone I can.
Harmony school, sugar land? It would fit perfectly in some kids’ fairy tales or shows…

That said, when will governments start making sure schools are not political?
I was sure it’s against the law.

It would be one thing if the schools indoctrinated kids to love their regime, but in these cases, they usually indoctrinate them to hate their regime and even culture.
