The striking Hezbollah flag during the Al-Quds rally in LondonBritish spies discovered a secret Hezbollah bomb-making set-up on the outskirts of London in 2015 but kept it quiet as the ink dried on the just-signed Iran nuclear deal.
The Daily Telegraph reported how Met Police officers and MI5 agents raided four properties in north-west London four years ago, finding thousands of disposable ice packs stuffed with ammonium nitrate, a crucial ingredient in bombs.
A man in his 40s was arrested but released without charge. No information was released publicly.
The newspaper said its investigation had taken three months, its reporters speaking to more than 30 officials in several countries.
They revealed that the bomb-making set-up near London was part of the Iran-backed group’s preparations for attacks around the world, notably against Israeli targets.
Cypriot sources were consulted because in the same year that the four properties were raided near London, a Hezbollah agent in Cyprus was jailed for six years after police found him with 8.2 tons of ammonium nitrate in his home. He reportedly planned to attack Israeli targets.
While the then-prime minister David Cameron and the then-home secretary Theresa May were informed at the time, parliament was not.
Analysts this week asked why the UK raids did not come to the public’s attention in 2015, suggesting that British diplomatic support for the Iran nuclear deal was a probable factor.
However the Telegraph reported that British intelligence kept the raid low-profile because it wanted to follow the trail of the Lebanon-based militia group’s activities.

It’s obviously a war crime to allow Muslims into our countries.
When and only when Muslims completely reject islam would it be safe to allow them to visit.
Their culture wars, ie civil wars, are a part of the process of throwing out the bad and embracing the better for all our nations.
Bringing their civil wars to our own countries is a fool’s errand.

When you understand how the security services work, you also understand that those Islamically inspired monsters were discovered and monitored for some time before decisions were taken to pounce and close down the whole plot.
While all that makes good sense, the facts around this case do nothing positive for the public’s jaundiced opinions surrounding the mass immigration of more and more muslims by the same authorities charged with our security.
Not to put too fine a point on it, the intended impression is given that those people were the exception, therefore it’s ok to keep letting more and more of their co-religionists in while publicly defending Islam because muslims are so enriching and cuddly.
It’s this accurately perceived position of the state “facing two ways” that destroys so much trust in the electorate for the executive.

“Islamophobia” will detonate the moslem bombs in London; if you make any factual statements about islam and a bomb explodes in London then you are the terrorist because it was your “hateful” facts that caused the bomb to explode, but the bombs have nothing to do with islam.

One yr before I decided to discontinue my prior job and I am so delightful at this point…. They were falsely accused of bomb making. The real reason to have 8 tons of ammonium nitrate was they wanted to grow flowers!
