Christian Arrested for Allegedly Insulting Islam on Facebook in Egypt, Muslims Ransack Parents Home

Ugh. Any ideology, religious or otherwise, that cannot withstand scrutiny or criticism is, by its very nature, deeply dangerous. If a group will not bear being offended without resorting to violence, that group will rule unopposed while everyone else lives in fear, while other groups curtail their activities to appease the violent group. This results in the violent group being able to tyrannize the others which is exactly what we see happen in Islamic societies.

Islamic law forbids criticism of Islam, Quran, Muhammad. If they cannot be criticizedS, we are in effect accepting Islamic law as overriding the freedom of speech. This would establish Muslims as a protected class and prevent honest discussion.

Coptic Christian Arrested for Allegedly Insulting Islam on Facebook in Egypt

CAIRO, Egypt (Morning Star News) – A young Coptic Christian man has been arrested near Cairo, Egypt for allegedly insulting Islam after a hacker posted material on his Facebook page, he and family members said.

Story continues below advertisement

Fady Yousef, 25, was arrested early in the morning of June 11 in Giza, southwest of Cairo, despite having posted a video explaining that hackers had placed the offending material on his Facebook page, according to the Coptic Bishopric of Maghagha and El Edwa in Minya.

The previous night (June 10), Muslim extremists angry over the offending material attacked his parents’ home in Eshneen el Nasara village, near Maghgaha in Minya Governorate, about 260 kilometers (160 miles) south of Giza, according to a statement from the bishopric.

“On Monday [June 10] some extremists reaching a few hundred from Eshneen el Nasara village and the villages around it attacked the home of Yousef Todary,” the statement from Bishop Anba Aghathon read. “They entered and destroyed the contents of the house, then moved to the house next door where his brother lived and attacked it from the outside. They were shouting against the Christian religion and the Copts of the village.”

Yousef Todary, his wife and daughter were able to escape minutes before the Muslim extremists broke in and destroyed the refrigerator, television set, mattresses, furniture and windows, according to the bishop.

Stating that Muslim extremists alleged the post was insulting to Islam, the bishop defended Fady Yousef, reiterating that he said his Facebook was hacked.

The young Copt posted an apology on the page saying he would never do such a thing, and that people who knew him know this well. His sister, Nermeen Yousef, also posted a clarification, saying her brother apologized not because he did anything wrong, but because people mistakenly believed that he was the author of the post, according to Copts United.

“He is apologizing because he respects your feelings,” she wrote. “He is not a child to do such a thing, and also his friends are Muslims and always tell me they are dear to him and they know this well.”

Along with Fady Yousef, police also detained his brother and uncle; two other uncles turned themselves in as soon as they heard that police sought them, according to various sources. They were all transported to Minya pending investigations, and on Friday (June 15) Copts United reported that the brother and uncles had been released.

Yousef is in custody facing charges of posting material offensive to religion, according to Copts United. Insulting a heavenly religion (Islam, Judaism and Christianity) in Egypt, where the state religion is Islam, is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of 500 to 1,000 Egyptian pounds (US$30 to US$60), according to Article 98(f) of the Penal Code.

Police reportedly arrested 25 people suspected of attacking the home of Yousef Todary and those of other Christians in the village, as well as others who wrote posts on social media to instigate attacks.

Police reportedly dispersed angry crowds and set up protective posts in Eshneen el Nasara and other villages. They also set a protective perimeter around the village the following Friday (June 14) in anticipation of possible violence, according to Copts United.

The bishop’s statement noted that Reda Eid, a Muslim from the same village, during Easter posted derogatory words against Christianity, the church and its leadership. Eid later went to the church leaders to apologize, taking some of his Christian friends with him, according to the statement. Father Soliman responded “You are our son, you came here and I accept your apology, we are all brothers,” thus ending the incident, according to Copts United.

Egypt ranked 16th on Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List of countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.

Iran Extends Condolences For Morsi’s Death To ‘Egyptian Nation’ And ‘His Supporters’
https://en.radiofarda.com/a/the-latest-iran-extends-condolences-in-egypt-death-of-morsi/30005194.html

The Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Abbas Mousavi, says in a statement that, “while respecting the viewpoints of the great and brave Egyptian nation, the Islamic Republic of Iran offers its condolences to the Egyptian people, as well as Morsi’s family and supporters.”

Mousavi’s statement added “wishes for divine blessing and mercy” for Morsi.
———————————
– Make no mistake, the Mullahs in Iran are aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood
– and both are heavily influenced by communism
– the idea that the Shia and Sunni are diametrically opposed is false
– the Mullahs of Iran are a subgroup of Shia
– and the Muslim Brotherhood are a subgroup of Sunni
– and they have very much in common and they collaborate all the time
– example 1: Hamas in Gaza, Muslim Brotherhood affiliated, with Iran financial support
– example 2: Obama supported Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the Mullahs in Iran, and Hamas in Gaza

Um, the SS and the SA weren’t “diametrically opposed” but that didn’t stop the SS from slaughtering the SA. But then again, maybe the SS were nazists?

I agree it would never happen and it’s hard to imagine Scientology being better than anything, but next to islum anything looks good, even Satanism.

Oh really? Then why isn’t the sacralised Jew hatred that oozes forth from every holey book of islum a problem?

See what happens when these Muslim savages outnumber us? Now he’s trying to prove he didn’t insult the religion of savages that kills non-believers. What an effed up world we live in that these barbarians are still breathing and killing civilized people.

We need a US president with brass balls who’d take the fight to Islam and wipe it out (like Nazism). Trump’s a good man but he is clueless on Islam and is dovish. Hopefully John Bolton will run.

The trouble is that Bush/Obama squandered trillions on “wild goose chase” wars rather than fighting the real enemy, Islam. So now the people are fed up of more mideast wars/entanglements though we need to defend the free world from these psychos.

I think you’re onto something there Rick, people are either “fed up” or they are so suspicious of ANY news now that they trust no one, while some claim it’s all about “money for bankers, at the price of our soldier’s blood, just as its’ always been”, and they want no part of it.

A terrible time to back off for whatever reason ; the threat is real and they have made moves, and if we fail to act sufficiently, the threat will only become even more real and much more immediate (Toronto, “diversity is our strength” Canada, just had its’ first two “acid attacks”). Time is running out, I don’t think escape is possible any longer, only a chance to possibly lessen the extent of the horrors to come.

This fall is the federal election in Canada – a chance to vote Trudeau out, but the reality is that the only “hope” for this is a Conservative majority ; anything less than that is either more of the same or even worse, a coalition of 3 parties : Liberals – NDP – Greens (the 3 amigos), against a Conservative minority.

The NDP and the Greens are more for “globalism” than even Trudeau is. A coalition with them would mean that globalism would engulf Canada in record speed and that the “conservative” voice would never see representation again, ever.

There are 2 things to go with this scenario ; even though the Conservatives are leading in the polls in most jurisdictions, Trudeau has rigged the voter base (Bill #something, giving the vote to Canadian citizens abroad that have lost “residency” status – 2 million people) and is furiously silencing and/or limiting (controlling) all media. All this in itself may well bring a “surprise” result and actually see him back in power with either a majority again or a minority. The 3 “amigos” in the case of a Liberal minority, will still fall into that “worse” category.

And the other thing is the “hope” in the Conservatives. The current leader and his close party allies are anything but conservative – little to no difference in any significant immigration policy – little to no difference in freedom of speech issues – absolutely no change to abortion laws (Canada has no restrictions, no laws regulating it). They are almost as globalist as the Liberals.

What choice !! – and all the while, the demographics keep steadily building to those critical percentages where even more horror follows.

Acid attacks in Canada?
Terrible.
But taking a pragmatists view, it would be equally horrible to see Islamic perpetrators taken immediately from these incidents and made to swallow gallons of their own “medicine.”

As much as Islam is a pack of lies and a political ideology akin to Nazism masquerading as a religion with the same intents to dominate the world with “jack-boot” methodology, it is only one face of our true enemy.
An enemy so well fortified and hidden that most people would have difficulty saying “who” or “where” they are, yet we can know their existence even we only deduce it so, based on observable events/evidence that defy any other explanation (numerous and “massive” doors opened that greased the way for cultural annihilation, not for “humanitarianism” but because such annihilation served a hidden agenda – thus a hidden enemy).

This is obama’s legacy: obama , according to Forbes magazine has a net worth of $2.9 Billion. (Not bad for a poor senator) obama used the wealth, and prestige of America to encourage islam around the world. Unless we see obama and his ilk at the end of a rope the world will enter a new dark age under sharia!
