Breaking: Former President Morsi dies in trial session

CAIRO – 17 June 2019: Former President Mohamed Morsi died on Monday in court after the conclusion of a trial session in the espionage lawsuit.
The former president had asked to talk and the judge gave him the permission.
Morsi was affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood. He became president in 2012, and was ousted over mass protests on July 3, 2013. Since then, he was being prosecuted in custody as he was facing several charges, including espionage.
