A plurality of Americans hold a negative view of Rep. Ilhan Omar
The pollster says “to be a freshman Congressman…and it to be 2 to 1 negative among voters with an opinion, that really takes a lot of hard work”

A plurality of Americans have a negative view of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), according to a new poll conducted by pollster John McLaughlin for the Hudson Institute.
Story continues below advertisementThe poll, published Tuesday, shows that 40 percent of Americans hold an unfavorable view of Omar, while 21 percent view her favorably. Twenty-three percent had no opinion.
Partisan views: Thirty-four percent of Democrats polled had a positive view of Omar while 21 percent viewed her unfavorably. According to the poll, 58 percent of Republicans have an unfavorable view of Omar.“To be a freshman Congressman, after a few months to be known to 85 percent of the voters and it to be 2 to 1 negative among voters with an opinion, that really takes a lot of hard work,” McLaughlin said during a presentation at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C.
On antisemitism: Asked if the Democratic Party is doing enough to combat antisemitism within its ranks, 48 percent of respondents said the party isn’t doing enough, while only 22 percent were satisfied with the House leadership’s response to recent incidents of antisemitic rhetoric. Among Democrats, 38 percent believe their party is responding effectively to antisemitism, compared with 50 percent of independent voters, and 66 percent of Republicans, who think the opposite.
According to the poll, 50 percent of Americans — including 62 percent of Republicans and 44 percent of Democrats — believe that being anti-Israel is the new antisemitism, while about 25 percent disagree with the statement. The numbers are slightly higher among Jewish voters — 56 to 44 percent.
A clear majority of voters — 63 percent — disagree with the statement that one should be labeled as Islamophobic for criticizing Omar for her views on Israel.

I believe 85% of Americans do NOT approve of this woman or ANY Muslim in Congress because of their disdain for Americans and our culture. AND, I am sick to death of the MINORITIES pushing their nasty, evil, agenda upon the rest of us. I started pushing back when Obama was in office. NOW, I am full-blown NO in my answers to stupid leftist minorities. NO. NO. NO. to PC, to every single thing the left wants!

Right on!!! Couldn’t agree with you more. The pansies, as you put it, do not understand how to handle what differences of opinion constitute. They will not debate any difference of opinion, ending debate with the accusation that anyone who disagrees with them is a racist, bias bigot, or white supremacist, or attacking that person as has been the habit of the Antifa movement. All American’s should recognize the poison they bring to our culture, a poison that is essentially no different than the obscene concepts of Nazism, Fascism and Communism, and now radical Islam. Ignorance is no excuse, a factor I see being a major contributor to the so-called Hollywood elite, the media and the Democratic Party. I hope that we all can see that.

Glad she represents Muslims in America. She is the cautionary tale of Islam is western civilization and she will persist in that role because she will get 100% of the Muslim vote in her Muslim dominated district. She will lose only if and when American citizens have enough of global socialism and global islamism – and demand that Islam be treated as the terrorist political force that it represents..

Muslims and Islam have been negatively influencing our Leftists from the very beginning. They fall for false victimization narratives every time. Less power of discernment than the Right. And they follow it up with a heaping dose of passing the buck to nonMuslims every dang time, especially Christians and Jews in our nations, playing each group against the others. One year back I decided to give up my old job and I am too pleased currently…. It is not that I am against individual muslems. I am against the BARBARIC islamic CULT that hides behind the curtain of “religion”.
