Paris Taxi Drivers Avoiding Migrant Areas so Not to Shock Tourists
Taxi drivers in the French capital have been avoiding some of the areas of the city where many migrants live on the streets so as not to “shock” tourists coming into the city.

The drivers who pick up tourists from Roissy airport told French news outlet 20 Minutes that the purposely avoid areas where homeless migrants live in makeshift tent camps as to not give the tourists a bad initial impression of the city, with one driver named Mordi commenting: “The first image tourists have when arriving in Paris, the most beautiful city in the world, are the tents, refugees, drug addicts.”
“When I can, I avoid at most to go through the Porte de la Chapelle,” the 53-year-old, who has been driving tourists from both of the city’s major airports for over 30 years, said and added, “For a year, I prefer the Porte de Clichy or the Porte d’Asnières, especially at night.”
“When I really have no choice, I go through the Porte de la Chapelle, but I see that the tourists are not reassured, that they are afraid. Me too… There is a certain aggressiveness of people on the street. It’s not nice for anyone,” he said.
Another driver named Djamel said he had also avoided the area for over a year saying, “people try to open the door, break the window. This is not [good] for our customers, especially tourists who come to discover Paris. Before the situation was bad, now it’s dangerous.”
Porte de La Chapelle has been a major hub of migrants and has been the home of various makeshift tent cities that have been cleared several times by local authorities in 2017 and in 2018 plans were announced to evacuate the area, along with other makeshift camps across the city, again.
The Porte de la Chapelle area has become dangerous even for those working to help the migrants living on the streets. In July of last year, the group Solidarité Migrants Wilson was forced to cease operations in the area due to aggression from drug-addicted migrants.
Not all the taxi drivers say they avoid the area, 37-year-old Oliver said he does the opposite saying, ” Yes, poverty is scary, sad, and it gets worse, but I keep going and I explain to tourists the situation, the context.”
“Overall, Europeans are aware but Americans do not understand that we can let that happen. But it does not outrage them more than that. There may be a fear, but I try to reassure them,” he said.

The Pope, hopefully is the Last Pope as some prophecies predict. A Christian he is not; however, Francis is a devout and pious Muslim. Part of my extended family is Catholic; I am, as is my wife, the only heathens of that family branch. I have asked their opinions on Francis, it is followed by a weighty silence.

Francis has come out of the closet; he is a full fledged Muslim. Macron, the entire EU is rife with closet Muslims anticipating the caliphate. Treason is deemed meritable among the West’s leadership. The Pope is deserved of the said bonfire, too. He does not give a toss about the murder en-masse of Christians, Jews or others; however, when a ‘Muslim’ terrorist catches a righteous bullet between the eyes, he prays to Allah for the psychopathic scumbag and his comrades.

Felix, sorry for the venting but I became transfixed with this vile man, professing to be not only a Christian but a spiritual leader.
Francis is not a man of God; he has more in common with Allah’s preaching. As mentioned, this man of perfidy not holiness, more so, an unabashed godless Marxist. Globalism is another word for Totalitarianism; Islam is a theocracy, a political and religious force bent on the ruination of the West, Israel, Christians, Jews, all that is not Muslim.
I could give a toss about one’s sexual lifestyle; however, it is the endless indoctrination, the politicizing of homosexuality by the Gay community, the politicos, educators that straight folks are all homophobic and of course, Islamophobic; meanwhile the latter, Islam, is the sole faux-religion that not only marginalize Gays but murder them for their lifestyle. Francis is a two-face wonder; a man of masterful deception to the gullible believers in his papacy. The Vatican worked hand-in-hand eradicating non-Christians throughout history, whether it was the Spanish raping and plundering by conquistadors in what today is known as Mesoamerica.
The systematic slaughtering of six million Jews during The Holocaust while Pius X11 remained static and mute. Francis sheds no tears for the onslaught, the murdering of Christians or Jews/Israelis but sheds copious tears for the death of Muslims. Some things never change; Francis is symbiotic of Roman Catholicism’s loathing of Judaism and now, Christianity, as well.

Absolutely, knightsstrength; one can discern the affinity of these two alleged ‘religions’. the Vatican is a corporate enterprise, also; the Pope, apparently, prefers aiding the Muslim migrants as opposed to the myriad of Christians slaughtered in the name of Allah. Pedophilia is rampant by both entities professing godliness while performing debauchery. This Pope is a fraud, a traitor to his flock and his G-d.

It is time for the tourists to take off their blinders by witnessing the Hell(s) of Paris, the slovenly, dangerous no-go zones of the migrant scourge. If anyone requires re-education, it is those tourists or citizens who are conned by the Macron regime, the EU regime regarding the alarming effects of the Muslim mass-migration. It is happening in America, too, but people of the Leftist-Fascist movement, the Democratic/KKK/Islamic Party prefer the Nazi Pied Piper to their end. I know an elderly woman who used to frequently go to gay Paree on group sojourns, but on the last trip out one of their party and his wife were beaten and robbed and they don’t go to gay Paree anymore because why pay thousands of dollars to go and be mugged by muslums in Fwance when you can get mugged much cheaper right here in any major US city?

Wow! A hard lesson learned. London and other Brit cities aren’t much better, or worse. France, Germany, Belgium are the same, yet the great betrayers, the leadership and every Leftist loony have their heads burrowed deeply in their favorite orifice. You are right, why spend a fortune to get mugged, beaten or murdered by some scumbag Muslim when you can do so in any major US city.

You’re leaving out Los Angeles? I personally know five people who have been robbed at gunpoint and some of them were beaten up even though they handed over their money (and one was shot twice because he didn’t have enough cash on him to satisfy his muggers).

it wouldn’t be migrant heavy if the French sent in the police and military like they do with the yellow vest movement. These aren’t French subjects so just round them up and force march them to the ports where ships are waiting to take them back to Africa or the mid-East. Anyone tries to stop the march is subject to lethal force.

I can think of two cites which are undergoing this socialist transformation, one is in America and the other is Paris itself.
Baltimore is the one in America and like Paris, it’s been cursed with socialist Mayors bent upon social justice, equality, non racism and all the other benefits of Venezuela.
Trouble is, neither city have made those desires or policies work for the benefit of the target group, tax is higher, disorder rampant, police over worked, courts hampered by PC directives and in the case of Paris, tourist numbers are down by 1.5 million since the twin attacks of 2015.
In both countries, if voters don’t draw the conclusions which are plain, what “help” can they expect ?

Good post, Poppey; Baltimore is indeed what you say but there are numerous other US cities and Western cities of a similar ilk. I am not going to nitpick; the socialist transformation is a contagion; the ‘socialists’ depend on the voters’ base gullibility, ignorance or the electorate holds an affinity with the socialist doctrine. There are numerous variables within the equation; methinks many voters do not care to hold responsibility or accountability for their lives.Moreover, the collectivist mindset of socialism, or communism entrances these ‘proletariat’ minded people; let the government/autocracy oversee, control one’s life. For 1,400 years Europe fought against islam with millions, yes millions of deaths at their hands. Cities destroyed, people made into slaves, raped, butchered, looted and occupied by this plague of muslims. The Mediterranean was a muslim lake and all of North Africa and the middle east save tiny Israel remain under their rule. Europe finally drove them out so why, oh why would you allow them back into your lands and the same goes for the USA and Canada.
