April 29, 2019 . 5:30 pm OUTSIDE THE NEW YORK TIMES. A protest holding the New York Times RESPONSIBLE for publishing this offensive anti-Semitic cartoon that appeared over the weekend in the International edition of the NY Times. (The Times’s international edition often publishes political cartoons, while the domestic edition does not.)
The cartoon depicted President Trump as a blind man wearing a yarmulke and being led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – in the shape of a seeing eye dog wearing a collar adorned by a blue star of David. (May 1: The New York Times claims to have canceled its contract with CartoonArts International)

As for the cartoon: It was drawn by António Moreira Antunes, a Portuguese cartoonist and originally published in Expresso, a newspaper in Lisbon, before being picked up by CartoonArts International, the cartoon syndicate. (The editor from The Times’s Opinion section who decided to publish the cartoon has not been named.)
BUT, then, on Sunday … another anti-Semitic cartoon. This was drawn by Norwegian cartoonist, Roar Hagen. Netanyahu was dressed as Moses holding a stone tablet taking a selfie; once again raising doubts about the paper’s judgement. [link]
SHAME ON THE NY TIMES!!
The protestors expressed outrage over the newspaper’s publishing of an anti-Semitic cartoon by waving Israeli flags and holding signs saying “NY Times feeds Jew Hatred” and “NY (slimes) Has Blood On Its Hands.”
The protest was lead by a number of Jewish organizations [The Coalition for Jewish Concerns, Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI), and a coalition of other organizations, such as JDL-NY]
With an impressive roster of speakers that included Assemblyman Dov Hikind, Prof. Alan Dershowitz, Rabbi Elie Abadie. They called for the firing of editors and individuals responsible for these outrageous cartoons. They also prayed for the victims of the San Diego synagogue shooting.

The NY Times has a 120 year old campaign of slander and bias against Israel and the Jews and even though the Times attempted to lay the blame for the cartoon on one careless editor, the entire newspaper and its owners are responsible.
Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon said: “The words, the demonstrators and the cartoons turn into shootings against worshipers in synagogues.”

Update on May 5, 2019, proving words and cartoons do matter: Israel has been under constant attack by Hamas terrorists since Shabbat. Over 500 missiles have launched by Hamas terrorists targeting Israeli civilians. Three Israelis have been killed. Over 100 have been injured. Silence from the United Nations. No condemnations. Nothing.
The shameful record of the N.Y.Times giving unswerving support to the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel Congressional trio of Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Rashida Tlaib reinforces that silence is no longer an option. We must actively combat the rising anti-Semitism in America and world wide. It must not be ignored. SILENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER.

It’s positively amazing how Muslims reverse who is attacking Israel. Muslims claim Israel is attacking them. Israel has the right to defend itself from MUSLIM attacks. As Muslims TARGET hospitals and schools, Muslims use those pictures to claim they are Muslim schools and hospitals. The dishonestly all helps to fuel Muslim hatred for more jihad attacks. Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim became the largest individual shareholder in New York Times Co. on Wednesday after exercising warrants that more than doubled his stake in the media company to 16.8%.
That was in 2015. A lot could have happened in four years.

Protests against the N.Y. Times only go so far. If the organizers of the protests could significantly lower the Times’s readership, that would be a death knell to that rag, which is already dealing with a loss of readership and is struggling to break even financially.

It is not “just” NY Times anti-Semitic cartoons. It is NY Times endemic anti-Semitism
NY Times has agreed to ADL’s suggestion of “sensitivity training”. That
is not enough because NY Times is endemically anti-Semitic. It needs a
C.A.M.E.R.A. training session on the top 20 lies (at least) that make
up its anti-Israel narrative. By omission and/or comission, lying about
Israel is lying about Jews. That’s anti-Semitism. That’s the NY
Times. For NY Times to no longer be US’s Der Stermer, it needs to
change its Israel/Jews narrative. Unfortunately, ADL being what IT is,
did not urge NY Times to do so. Hopefully, Jewish, as opposed to Leftist
a la ADL, organizations will step up.

Long history that goes back to when Ukrainians perished in the millions, under “journalistic” watch of Stalinist apologist, Walter Duranty; and when the Holocaust was in progress: Jewish-owned paper down-played reports on what was transpiring in Fascist Europe, under Nazi dominance: Industrial-scale slaughter of their Brothern! But only sparingly reported, and usually on interior pages.
Yes, the NYT does has blood on its unclean hands, certainly historically.
Mr. Mark Levin has railed against its SHAMEFUL record, past and present. His new Book, UNFREEDOM of the PRESS, soon to be released, will have an entire chapter on that bird cage liner-worthy paper. Evidently, its going to be a shocker. And he is braced to take heavy flak for it — and the book.
