Secret U.S. Missile Aims to Kill Only Terrorists, Not Nearby Civilians
Weapon doesn’t explode, but brandishes knives to shred target; it was used in high-profile strikes in 2017 and this year
Both the Central Intelligence Agency and the Pentagon have used the weapon while closely guarding its existence. A modified version of the well-known Hellfire missile, the weapon carries an inert warhead. Instead of exploding, it is designed to plunge more than 100 pounds of metal through the tops of cars and buildings to kill its target without harming individuals and property close by.
To the targeted person, it is as if a speeding anvil fell from the sky, the officials said. But this variant of the Hellfire missile, designated as the R9X, also comes equipped with a different kind of payload: a halo of six long blades that are stowed inside and then deploy through the skin of the missile seconds before impact to ensure that it shreds anything in its tracks.
Story continues below advertisementDetails about the secret weapon and its deployment were confirmed by more than a dozen current and former U.S. officials. Its development and use haven’t been previously disclosed, though its existence has been the subject of speculation.
The R9X is known colloquially to the small community of individuals who are familiar with its use as “the flying Ginsu,” for the blades that can cut through buildings or car roofs and kill the target. The nickname is a reference to the popular knives sold on TV infomercials in the late 1970s and early 1980s that showed them cutting through both tree branches and tomatoes. The weapon has also been referred to as the Ninja bomb.

This is no way to win a war. It sounds nice … Buck Rogers (not the television series, but the movie serials of 1939) might use something like that .. but, the only way to win a war is by scorched earth. Rules of engagement be damned …. Kill ’em where they stand, or sit, or lay down. Kill ’em all. After well over half a century of restrictive rules of engagement, you’d think we’d have learned it by now.

They mostly found body parts. Intact bodies were not common.

The best recent example of doing a good job was the South African mercenaries invited to Nigeria in 2016, after six years of the entire Nigerian army failing to tame Boko Haram Muslims. In 3 1/2 months these mercenaries did what the entire Nigerian Army had failed to do – and they took no prisoners. They just herded them by stealth into ‘kill blocks’ where waiting mercenaries terminated the lot. I read a foreign report that said 90 percent of Boko Haram who confronted these guys died. The West is too pansy to do this.

I’m tired of seeing us take them in as “refugees” as they plot against us here. They offer nothing of values and hate us. If they were against Muslims terrorism, let them stay and fight it there. Why clean out the country leaving Muslim terrorists in charge? If you don’t take them in maybe the few would fight for their country.

I wonder how they managed that. I’m sorry to say but when you are at war, you can’t be preoccupied with civilians. Now we import these “civilians” here as “refugees” and they attack us here. In war you destroy and kill people. This politically correct approach isn’t working… Look at Dearborn, Michigan and what the “refugees” created there or the school in Phila. singing jihad songs. THIS is what comes here as a “refugee”. I’d rather they be in Muslim “paradise”.

That wouldn’t really serve humanity. It might bring a moment of fewer incidents of terrorism. But humans are pretty rotten, selfish, egotistical and prideful people. As a result, if we aren’t distracted with random acts of terror, we would still find something to fight or kill about. Take the recent school shooting in Colorado, the kids who did the shooting hated Christians and conservatives which might have been part of the motivation to do what they did. Their attitude reminds me of when Scalise was gunned down by a Leftist in a baseball field. It seems we can’t even agree to disagree. Instead some people put it on themselves to punish those who disagree with them. It is as if they are the moral arbiters and thus judge and executioner of justice. Only their justice isn’t just. Their “morally superior” position is not morally superior. They are just deranged.
What would serve humanity is a changed heart. A heart that knows what it feels like to have an unconditional love–a heart that sees the world from an eternal perspective. Then, humanity might be able to experience peace. Even in Buddhism, the founder, Siddhartha Gautama, came to the conclusion that people’s greed was the source of evil. But his solution isn’t really doable… it’s like he says, desire is the root of all evil so stop having desires. But the desire to not have a desire is not a solution. Instead you need a change of heart… you need a heart after God and that can only come through the recognition of our condition that we are evil sinners at heart and no matter how good we think we are, we really aren’t good at all so we need to repent and turn to Jesus for forgiveness of sin and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

The doctrine isn’t Islamic jihad… it’s just Islam. The jihad is a result of adherence to Islam. Islam is a satanic political ideology the fruit of which is killing, stealing and destroying. As much as Muslims want to believe they are the best of peoples and everybody else is the worst of creatures, nothing good has ever come from Islam and that should be a clue to Muslims that the teachings of Mohammad was nothing more than taqiya taught in the spirit of the greatest deceiver. Perhaps someday, Muslims will realize that despite praying 5 times a day not to be like the cursed Jews and the deceived Christians, they are the ones who are deceived in the greatest of all deceptions and are thus cursed because of their faith.
