Navy confirms media lied about Trump and the USS John McCain

Story continues below advertisementSo basically The Wall Street Journal has been banging on about some claim from somewhere that the White House per President Trump’s request wanted the USS John McCain “out of sight” for when the President made his visit.
The WSJ also reported Wednesday that a tarp was put in place to cover the ship’s name.
Then a few media outlets, “journalists” and your all round anti-Trumper circulated the image of the USS John McCain with a tarp covering the name of the ship.
Is the claim true?
Of course not, this is the mainstream media we are talking about.
The picture was from Friday.
A spokesperson for the Pacific Fleet even confirmed the image is from Friday and the tarp was taken down on Saturday.
“We didn’t do anything to obstruct the name of the ship. The Wall Street Journal piece refers to a photo of a tarp covering the ship, that photo was taken Friday, May 24, the tarp was removed the following day,” another US Navy official said.
“All ships remained in normal configuration during the President’s visit” CDR Nate Christensen said.
Another claim is that the White House Military Office emailed lower-level US Navy officials about keeping the ship out of view. A claim reported by CNN of course.
The Wall Street Journal also reported that a barge had been moved so as to obscure the name of the ship. Also not true, one official said: “the barge had been there regularly. At one angle, you might not have seen the ship’s name, but the name was visible at all times.”
The ship was not moved nor was anything done to obscure John McCain’s name. This was also confirmed by Cmdr. Clay Doss, a spokesman for the 7th Fleet.
The US Navy’s chief of information, Rear Adm. Charlie Brown, also tweeted Wednesday night that the name had been visible.
“The name of USS John S. McCain was not obscured during the POTUS visit to Yokosuka on Memorial Day,” Brown said in a tweet. “The Navy is proud of that ship, its crew, its namesake and its heritage.”
President Trump tweeted Wednesday night that he was “not informed about anything having to do with the Navy Ship USS John S. McCain.”
Speaking to reporters on Thursday morning before leaving the White House, President Trump said that although he “is not a big fan” of McCain, he wouldn’t have supported moving the ship, obstructing it or covering the name.
So there it is folks, another ridiculous made up story from the mainstream media debunked…again.

The next ridiculous investigation is in the making – Trump finances prior to him being President or even considering it. It will follow the same pattern as the Russia farce investigation and of course it is all designed to unseat Trump in 2020. This is part of their plan to try and stop him from getting a second term. They are trying to turn public opinion negative and sow seeds of doubt about Trump. Notice how they refuse to give him credit for the economy. They tried to give Obama credit for it and that failed. They want Trump to have NO SUCCESS – only disaster and that is why they refuse to do anything about our genuine border crisis and fight him every step to make sure it continues.

Lets see Nancy Pelosi complain about this fake news on Trump being removed from the internet and Facebook! That’s the hypocrisy of the left at play again. (not that any of it should be removed!) If you are not discerning enough to see all the lies and truths out there and make a decision for yourself in the ballot booth then you shouldn’t be voting anyways.

Wall Street profits less. We were supposed to be impoverished while their bottom line swelled.

WASHINGTON—President Trump defended a White House request to move “out of sight” the warship USS John S. McCain during his visit to Japan, saying whoever issued the directive was “well-meaning,” but denied knowing about it at the time.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, as he left Washington for Colorado, Mr. Trump said of the White House request, which was issued earlier this month: ” I don’t know a thing about it. I would never have done that.”
(Notice – the directive was NEVER issued! It was probably the first time Trump was confronted with this LIE. The idea is to blindside him and turn off voters in 2020. Bet ya a MAJOR correction to this will NOT be made. )

The media and others are all out to get Trump.
Lies, “leaks” that are dishonest, more expensive ridiculous investigations, more censorship etc. will happen.
This is an all out effort to snare in more people to NOT VOTE FOR TRUMP in 2020.
Notice how the LIBERAL media won’t cover that these are LIES or if they do it will be like a small footnote and glossed over in a newscast or in print. The LEFT is in a PROPAGANDA WAR to unseat Trump.

I have often thought that McCain was “turned’ by the communists as a POW ( and we all know that they really did this to all captured aircrew) as his post POW career is certainly that of an active soviet agent as opposed to a patriotic republican politician. but then that could define all RINOs couldn’t it?

We all KNOW the media lies constantly. There are very, very few news outlets that don’t lie. If you don’t DISCERN the news or you don’t research for the truth, you will always believe a lie.

Why does John McCain have a ship named after him? His father was an admiral but him? Tens of thousands of US airmen were shot down over Germany and in the Pacific in WW2 and they didn’t get ships named after them…

I think you know why, but let me answer just the same:
John “Marbles” McCain was a faithful water-carrier for the Left for virtually his entire career in Congress – first as a Rep. and then as a Sen. He was the quintessential RINO; carefully masquerading as a conservative at election time and then casting aside his disguise to attack the Right when ever called upon to do so.

The MSM – which is actually the press shop for the DNC and the rest of the Lefties trying to destroy America – has no shame and no brains. They make up outlandish stories for the consumption of the unwashed masses and the base of the Democrat Party while not realizing that 99% of their ‘fake news’ (a.k.a., propaganda and disinformatsya) can be easily fact-checked and debunked by a few simple phone calls.
But, as Pamela asks: Will FB, Twitter, etc. censor or de-platform the slavish dupes like the NYT, WSJ, Wa-Po, LA Times etc.?

The ship hit a large container ship and is under repair,so lots of tarps and barges crew sent elsewhere except officers and maintenance. Very easy to confirm
