TERROR Attack in France: 4 Jihadis Arrested in Shrapnel/Nail Bombing in Lyon

French police have arrested a 24-year-old Algerian computer student suspected of planting a bomb in Lyon last week that wounded 13 people, authorities said on Monday.Three other people were also arrested in connection with the case, which is being treated as a terrorism investigation. The attack came as France remains on alert following a wave of terror attacks – including a double stabbing inside high-security Condé-sur-Sarthe prison back in March. And just last year, a gunman opened fire at the Strasbourg Christmas Market, killing 5 and injuring 11.

Casualties included a little girl, 8, who suffered leg wounds after parcel packed with nails, nuts, bolts and screws exploded just after 5.30pm on May 24.

Sources close to the investigation said the Algerian student who is the main suspect did not have police records, while the other three detainees included his mother and younger brother who is a high-school student.

Police found the man thanks to security camera footage, Lyon mayor Gerard Collomb told BFM TV station.

Footage showed a partially masked man wheeling a bike to the scene before leaving a bag outside a bakery. Police then tracked him to a suburb of Lyon.

DNA traces were found on the remains of the parcel, according to sources close to the investigation.

Another source said judicial police tailed the man on Monday and arrested him as he alighted from a bus in downtown Lyon.

Police searched the suspect’s home but decided not to arrest him there, the source said, for fear there could still be some triacetone triperoxide or TATP, the powerful but unstable homemade explosive used in the attack.

LYON (Reuters) – French police have arrested a 24-year-old Algerian computer student suspected of planting a bomb in Lyon last week that wounded 13 people, authorities said on Monday.

Three other people were also arrested in connection with the case, which is being treated as a terrorism investigation.

A man was spotted by security cameras leaving the explosive device, with screws and metal balls packed into a paper bag, in a pedestrian shopping street in the central French city on Friday a minute before it exploded.

Sources close to the investigation said the Algerian student who is the main suspect did not have police records, while the other three detainees included his mother and younger brother who is a high-school student.

Police found the man thanks to security camera footage, Lyon mayor Gerard Collomb told BFM TV station.

I voted for Trump hoping he would really do just that, but beyond the talk and speeches, it’s not happening. Go to any airport and see who is arriving at the international terminal. Go and take a stroll through any college campus and then try telling me I’m

Trump supporters (yes I am a Trump supporter) will get angry at me for pointing this out, but I insist that they go take a stroll through any college campus and then try telling me I’m wrong. I’ve come to believe that repubs are only slightly less stupid than dems. Sorry!

Another moslem soldier, with a sword, cut and split the child from her crotch to neck. Then they asked the other children to convert to islam. Oh well, just another day in Frau Angela Der Fuehrer Merkel’s NWO and the EU. Democracies get the Governments that they deserve. I was saddened in my heart to realize that this event didn’t phase me at all. I guess one truly can become immune to the pain and suffering and the slaughter of others. In my own defense, I find it easier to do, when the people keep voting into power those that are facilitating, aiding and abetting and financing those that are slaughtering them.
