SNUBBED: Queen Declines To Invite London Mayor Sadiq Khan To Trump State Dinner
London Mayor Sadiq Khan sad, last week, that he didn’t believe President Donald Trump was worthy of a state banquet hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace. It turns out, though, he won’t have to suffer through seeing Trump honored by the royal family.
Queen Elizabeth has declined to invite Khan to Trump’s state dinner, snubbing London’s top administrator, apparently over fears he’ll be inappropriately aggressive toward the American leader, Express.co.uk reports.
Story continues below advertisementThe Daily Wire’s Paul Bois reported on Saturday that Khan has been an outspoken critic of Queen Elizabeth’s decision to host Trump for an official state visit, even going so far as to say that Trump doesn’t deserve the honor, despite being President of the United States.
“Of course we should have a close relationship with the president of the United States, but we shouldn’t be rolling out the red carpet; we shouldn’t have a state banquet,” Khan told a radio program last week. “History tells us only two presidents have had a state visit. I think President Trump is certainly not in the same class as those two.”
Sunday, the mayor’s office admitted that he was not asked to join in the celebration, meant not just to commemorate Trump’s first official visit to the United Kingdom, but also to memorialize the “special relationship” forged between the two nations during the Second World War II on the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.
“The mayor has not been invited to the state banquet,” Khan’s spokesperson told media.
Invitations were, instead, sent to Lib Dem leader Sir Vince Cable and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, both of whom declined to attend the banquet. Cable told media that his RSVP should be considered a “boycott.”
“We should not be beguiled by pomp and circumstance into hobnobbing with a man who is on record as a misogynist and a racist,” Cable said.
There is no love lost between Khan and Trump; the pair have been at odds before Trump was even elected in 2016. Khan has repeated criticized Trump over his treatment of women and minorities, and lashed out at Trump over his domestic policies, particularly Trump’s attitude toward Islam. Khan is Muslim and is the first Muslim mayor of London.
Trump has, in turn, critiqued Khan over his “knife control” policies, meant to keep stabbings and random knifings down in London’s city center, and was especially perturbed last year when Khan approved a ridiculous “Baby Trump” balloon to fly over downtown London during the President’s last visit.
It is not known whether “Baby Trump,” which has been on something of a “tour” of protests in the United States, will reappear as part of the protests expected to mark the President’s second trip to the UK and his first official state visit, but at least Khan won’t get the opportunity to sneak Baby Trump into dinner in his suit pocket.
President Trump is due to arrive in the United Kingdom on June 4th or 5th, and he will attend not just a state banquet hosted by the Queen and other members of the British royal family at Buckingham Palace, but a host of other meetings with leaders of the UK’s conservative party. He will also participate in several events in the UK commemorating the role the British military played in hosting, training, and partnering with the American military ahead of the D-Day landings, June 6, 1944.
The President will then travel to France to participate in the official D-Day 75 celebration on Omaha Beach in Normandy.

Unfortunately, Western Europe has become beholden to the Islamic communities that have overwhelmed those countries. These people have brought with them a belief system that is the anti-thesis of what constitutes our free world societies and they will ultimately turn their countries into theocratic states, ruled by despots. It is sad to see. Trump represents everything that they hate about us “others,” and his attitude frustrates their ability to dominate and subjugate. I am very happy to believe that some of the Brits recognize those truths, though I believe that it is too late to save their nation. The immigrants who brought with them their belief system belong within the Islamic world, not the free world. They are only going to create more problems for the countries which allowed them in. I hope that the U.S. recognizes the danger they represent and that we will carefully monitor our own immigration system accordingly.

Maybe. Roman Catholicism has been in Japan since the middle ages, and the Japanese people have largely been tolerant toward it. Evangelical Christianity has not received a similar warm welcome. The only way Islam can succeed in Japan is the way it succeeded in the United States – stealth jihad, followed by dissolution of the existing political system.

We could not have beaten Germany without America, and don’t forget Canada, who deserved a permanent seat in the UNSC at the expense of France at the end of the war which, inexplicably, Roosevelt insisted on.
Neither could America have beaten Germany but for the twelve months between June 1940 and June 1941 when Britain and her Empire stood alone against Nazi Germany and communist Russia. Without the British Isles from which to prosecute the war America would have maintained its policy of isolation and accepted the way things might have turned out which would almost certainly have been Eurasia dominated by Hitler and Hirohito or a Europe conquered by Stalin.
Either way there would have been little of honour that America could have taught its children about their lack of action in the greatest war in history when evil triumphed over good.

1940 was a presidential election year. FDR had to lie to its isolationist population in order to get elected.
Afterwards on December 29, 1940, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt delivered a speech to the American public in which he urged the United States to become the “Great Arsenal of Democracy.” “The people of Europe who are defending themselves do not ask us to do their fighting. They ask us for the implements of war, the planes, the tanks, the guns, the freighters which will enable them to fight for their liberty and for our security” (Roosevelt, 1940). Following this speech America began to convert to the production of war materials.
Britain did not stand alone.
How you forget history, you hypocrite. “Poland did stand alone” in spite of the pledge from Britain and France to come to her aid.

Note how Roosevelt never mentioned coming to the aid of those ‘people of Europe’ (he couldn’t even bring himself to name us) with troops to help fight the greatest threat to civilisation since the fall of Rome. We were very much alone and it took Hitler to declare war on the United States to galvanise a reluctant America. If he hadn’t, how long would it have taken them to do the right thing? Would they ever?
‘America began to convert to the production of war materials’. We bankrupted ourselves paying for those munitions and the debt was never forgiven, though Germany’s debts most certainly were. We made our last payment to the Americans only twenty years ago.
“Poland did stand alone” and you call me a hypocrite? How dare you. Britain is the only country to go to war for a principle, not once but twice in 25 years. Name me one other country in history who has done that. We did not have to declare war against Germany, neither in 1914 nor in 1939, we did it at enormous cost in blood and treasure to honour a guarantee, first with Belgium and secondly with Poland. Did you expect Britain to invade and occupy Germany to rescue the Poles? With what? We were still rearming against an enemy that would soon be only 20 miles away and we only just managed to scrape enough together to win the Battle of Britain. The guarantee was never intended to mean that, it was obvious to both the Poles and to Germany (and any sentient being with a scrap of historical knowledge) we could never drive through Germany from the Rhine to the Oder. The promise that we would go to war if Hitler attacked was an attempt at deterrence meant to force Hitler to consider what war with us and the French would mean. And we kept that promise
The Poles hardly helped themselves by committing major atrocities against their own German civilians and later on collaborated gleefully with the Germans in_killing_Jews to the extent that Poles_killed more_Jews than they_killed Germans in the whole of the Second World War And the_killing of_Jews in Poland continued long after the end of the war.
Time you learned some unpleasant historical facts.

Nazi Germany took the initiative in attacking first but I wonder if France and GB had plans to attack Nazi Germany before then?

France actually sent some troops into Germany but they didn’t stay long and returned to their original positions on the Maginot Line. I don’t even know if any shots were fired. I can’t remember when, it might have been before the BEF arrived in France.
Don’t get me wrong. Both Britain and France failed in not taking stricter measures when they had become strong enough, some time around April ’40 I’d guess. But by then the Germans had occupied Poland for months and had transferred their forces to the Western Front. The French had better tanks than the Germans and the British army was the only army in the world that was fully mechanised. No horses like the Germans had to use for the whole war. I think the two allies just sat on their hands hoping for something to turn up but events overtook them when Hitler invaded.
That’s where appeasement got them. They should have started seriously re-arming in 1934 at the latest. Then they could have immediately responded by invading Germany on the 3 September and the world would be a different place today.

While the US didn’t declare war on Nazi Germany until 1941, US merchant ships were already being torpedoed by U-boats (and US merchant mariners dying) off the Eastern seaboard before that.
What did you mean by GB standing alone against Communist Russia (the USSR)? The USSR never declared war on GB.

If American ships were sunk by U boats off the East Coast why did not Roosevelt declare war on Germany? Why did the American cities along that seaboard leave all their lights on, thereby making those ships perfect targets as they were silhouetted against the bright lights? Seems to me the last thing Roosevelt wanted was to upset the Germans.
As for the USSR, seventeen days after Hitler invaded Poland from the west, Stalin invaded Poland from the east thereby making communist Russia an ally of the nation we were at war with. That made us de facto enemies of Russia. Do you think that if Britain and France had indeed invaded Germany as dimwit CharlieSeattle seems to think we could have, we would also have been at war with the USSR?

I’m not sure how long before JP’s attack on Pearl Harbor US flagged merchant ships were being sunk by German U-boats, it might only have been months, but I don’t know why that didn’t result in a declaration of war against Nazi Germany all by itself.
If the USSR was an enemy then why did convoys of supply ships leave GB to supply the USSR? And why did Churchill and Roosevelt meet w/Uncle Joe?

When criticised for supporting Stalin, Churchill said “If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favourable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.”

Good for the Queen! Too bad she’s not really in control of England. They most likely would not have the “immigration” problem that is causing so much trouble. For the mayor to say that terrorism is part of living in a big city is analogous to mobama telling we citizens that the economy is perpetually stalled and we better get used to living with less. It just means neither man either does not know how or is unwilling to do anything about it. Both are treasonous.

Thank you, Queen Elizabeth or whoever made the decision to leave Sadiq OFF the guest list for our president’s state dinner. Mayor Sadiq Khan is a Muslim; and Islam’s texts permit (even require) that infidels be condemned for all sorts of speech and behavior that does not conform to the “way of life” mandated in the Qur’an, the Hadiths and Sharia law.
In Islam, wives can be beaten, adulteresses can be stoned, “honor killings are permitted, thieves can have a hand removed, gays can be thrown off buildings, “infidel” women can be raped, and men can be beheaded and burned alive for failing to convert to Islam. Fatwas (death sentences) can even be issued against Muslims for disparaging remarks against Islam or their “prophet” Mohammed…or for just leaving the faith.
Remember, the prime directive of Islam is to overthrow all other forms of government by any means necessary (including by violent jihad), and then to install a world Caliphate ruled by Sharia law imposed by a supreme Imam.
England is already in big trouble, as there are several large cities that already have Muslim mayors, and numerous Muslim enclaves exist. In France and Germany, it’s even worse, as millions of unvetted Muslims were permitted to immigrate, form enclaves and create “no-go zones” that police won’t enter. Americans must never allow this to occur here, or surely our Republic will die and our Creator-endowed, constitutionally enumerated individual rights and freedoms will vanish.

It’s time to :
Deport all non-citizen Muslims back to their country of origin – immediately.
Ban sharia law completely.
Deport all sharia law advocates.
Ban all new mosque construction.
Monitor every mosque 24/7 for terror and sedition threats.
Reduce the Muslim population in the West to less than 1%, by whatever means necessary.
Keep these policies in place until Islam undertakes a successful self-reformation.
Then, maybe it will be time review these policies.

He’s the one who should not be invited to anything. He works for the city of London and like him or loathe him…President Trump is an important dignitary who deserves the respect he is entitled to! I’d sack Khan if I were Queen Elizabeth as he’s not doing his job obviously! You can’t just say u refuse to go to an event because you don’t like those invited.
