Not news as the libturds at FB will block all facts and truth as they make their tiny libturd brain cell explode!!!!! I quit FB a couple of years ago becasue they always blocked me when I commented on the videos that were posted. One was of a woman being hacked with a machete in the crosswalk while the police watched and kept the area clear. She was screaming for her life up until her death. I posted “That is what muslims do!”, and got blocked for another 30 days. The video was fine but saying muslims do that was not. After 11 months of being blocked in one year I wised up and closed the account as all they will allow is libturd BS!!! I wish the government would close FB down for good as a terrorist organization!

Clearly, we are at a point in time when the concept of beingable to express one’s opinion, whether based on actual facts or not, is the subject of consternation, if the other “person” does not agree with it, and as a result we are facing a serious problem as to what constitutes free speech.Though I realize that different opinions may exist, I respectfully believe that unless the free speech is likely to be read or heard as promoting violence, it retains its character as free speech. Though I realize that even that definition will result in conflict between the different parties, I, nevertheless, believe that narrative is the best way to continue to guarantee
the right to free speech. Simply stated, the speech today that is being openly expressed and is seen as anti-Semitism (something I strongly oppose and have proposed both prosecution and deportation of those who preach violence), could be free speech as long as it does not promote or preach hate that would in any manner promote or lead to violence against that group. I see no other reasonable approach to this serious problem.

I think Dennis that your use of the word “violence” needs clarification. The Left equates “verbal” violence with “physical” violence, and claims a “right” to use physical violence to counter either. If you insert “physical” in your comment, it would make it more specific and I think, more to your point.
As for the “hate” component, it is so subjective a term that to some it is this and to others it is not. Free speech must protect the rights of anyone to say anything short of calling for actual physical violence or harm. If a person starts spouting off on any ethnic group, they will get an equally charged response reflecting the more general consensus, and thus balance is maintained and opinions swayed – a true free market of ideas.

I agree with you. I intended my commentary to be my opposition to physical violence.Verbal speech can be dealt with by the recipients as being subject to rebuttal, rejection or the conclusion that the source and comments being made are bias, racist or moronic. On the other hand verbal comments that can be interpreted to being intended to trigger physical harm should not be protected by our free speech rights.

I was banned from Breitbart for complaining about the anti-semitism of Omar and for noting the destructive aspects of transgenders in women’s sports. I tried to protest but got no response. And this is Breitbart not the huffington post.

Thank You, Mark. I am not familiar with the Book, but will check it out. I read much of our history and founding documents, and that the American people are not demanding that that be taught in the school is beyond my comprehension.

It is a long read – more so than War and Peace or Moby Dick. The abridged edition is quite comprehensive, though. It will never make the required reading list in American high schools or universities for two reasons: (1) Solzhenitsyn was a Christian, and (2) he told the truth about the Soviet regime under “good ole’ Uncle Joe” Stalin. American education is goaded, prodded, infiltrated and pulverized by Marxists/Stalinists who can’t wait for another Stalin to show up in America and do the same – at the expense of tens of millions of innocent lives.
Throw carefully-preserved history into the trash can and it won’t be long before you (or I) end up there too. Under six feet of dirt or (in Siberia) a few inches of permafrost.
