EU to cover Palestinian Authority salaries and pensions for month of April
The P.A. cut salaries of public employees by 50 percent to continue to fund terrorists and their families after Israel began withholding tax revenues earlier this year.
Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas meets European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini(May 12, 2019 / PMW) The European Union has pledging to give the Palestinian Authority 15 million euros to cover the salaries of public employees—salaries that leader Mahmoud Abbas cut to keep up the P.A.’s payments to imprisoned and released terrorists, wounded terrorists and the families of dead terrorists.
Story continues below advertisementAbbas has declared that the P.A. is “obligated” to continue rewarding the terrorist prisoners and families of so-called “martyrs.”
Earlier this year, Israel decided to withhold from the tax money it collects on behalf of the P.A. an amount equaling the sum the P.A. pays to terrorist prisoners. These prisoners include mass murderers and heads of terror organizations. In response, the P.A. has refused to accept all the tax money, amounting to over 50 percent of its budget, thereby inflicting a serious financial crisis on itself.
To overcome this crisis—and in order to have money available to continue to pay the terrorists in full—the P.A. cut the salaries of its public employees by 50 percent.
According to the Palestinian Media Watch NGO, Abbas then turned to Europe for money, claiming Israel was responsible for the P.A.’s self-inflicted crisis.
The European Union has now answered his appeal.
E.U. Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn stated to the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee of P.A. donor countries in April: “We are all aware of the fiscal crisis the P.A. is facing and of the potential human, social and security consequences. Both sides need to move towards a solution. Israel’s decision to withhold clearance revenues violates current arrangements. At the same time, we do not support the system of Palestinian payments to ‘prisoners and martyrs.’ ” (Website of the European Commission , April 30, 2019)

In The Gulag Archipelago, Solzhenitzyn claimed that had the US not assisted the Soviet Union in the early 1920’s, the Russian people would have thrown off the yolk of communism. American aid made conditions in the Worker’s Paradise sufficiently tolerable that there was not a general revolt and allowed the machinery of totalitarianism to mature to the point they could not realistically be challenged.
It’s impossible to prove his assertion, but to the extent it’s true, it was certainly one of the most tragic examples of good intentions gone awry.

The look on their face is priceless. Allot of “churches” get off enslaving people to them.

We are very selective when it comes to charity.
Compassion International is a good organization.
The Salvation Army is still good. I don’t care if that they sell it. At least people have to PAY for it instead of just giving it to them. Free stuff is never appreciated when you are constantly subsidized.

So true! When you pretend God doesn’t exist, then somebody has to play god.
When you get rid of the moral law giver then someone needs to tell everybody else what is and is not “moral”.
When you get rid of the standard for what is good versus what is evil then someone needs to tell the rest of us what is good and what is evil.
What these who play god don’t seem to realize is when you get rid of God, nothing is moral and nothing is immoral and nothing is good nor evil. Which makes them pushing their opinion onto us just plain obnoxious! Obviously they deny God’s existence but their denial betrays their belief in God’s existence as they insist there is a moral standard and that good and evil exist… which means God exists as well.

Just 11 days away from the EU elections and the populist,nationalist parties are surging in the polls. The apparachnicks in Brussels are in a panic. A win my Salvini, Le Pen, and Orban and their many allies across Europe will see an upheaval in Europe as they will move to shut down immigration, protect the borders and send the invaders back to the hell holes form which they crawled. They also intend to clean out the communist libtards that control the bureaucracy and replace them with a new set of officials to stop the flow of funds and support to the enemies of Europe and Israel.

Yes, and as soon as ALL the Invaders are Deported, then it is time to repopulate the Native European Countries with Native Europeans.

Yes and Orban is already doing that in Hungary. A woman with four children is exempt from taxes for life. Same in Poland and Lithuania where subsidies and tax exemptions are paid. Russia is doing the same. Salvini has promised to do the same in Italy. The Yellow Vesta are demanding the same in France.

So they don’t support Israel withholding these taxes and they don’t support the PA paying terrorists and their families, but rather than stay out of it and let the situation work itself out, whatever form that takes, they are going to compensate the PA for the difference and still declare their neutrality.
Do they think the rest of the world is that stupid – that no one can see the absurdity/deception of their actions. Bottom line – they are now paying for these terrorists – the PA is kicking itself, “Why didn’t we think of this sooner”. If the PA has any brains, they should capitalize on this and come crying with their hand out for more ; the likes of Trudeau PM (prime moron) of Canada come to mind.

The Europeans have been claiming for 75 years that they are “over all that,” following the defeat of Hitler — claiming they are “over” their warmongering, “over” their Jew-hatred. They are “over” neither of those evils. All they have done is created a huge, self-serving lie to cover up the corrupt paternalism inherent in their “we know what is best for you” approach toward Israel. The EU has Jewish blood on its hands.

How on earth do you jump to the conclusion I am excusing Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc., from any blame? Of course they are the primary offenders — no doubt. But don’t oversimplify everything like that. There is plenty of blame to go around for those who also enable, abet, and who draft apologias, justifications, and excuses for, the primary offenders.
