Wait, what? It’s a vegetarian sauce. And how does one so devout know what bacon tastes like?
Derby Muslim mum furious her Aldi lasagne sauce ‘tasted like bacon’
A Muslim woman from Derby was left angry and upset when she tasted an Aldi pasta sauce she thought contained bacon.
Rianne Ward said she was distraught when she tried the product, believing that she had betrayed her religion by consuming pork.
Story continues below advertisementShe had come back from work as a healthcare assistant to make herself and her son a pasta dish with a jar of Cucina creamy lasagne sauce from Aldi, in Burton Road, Derby.The 39-year-old, who lives in Burton Road, said that she “smelt something odd” about the sauce, labelled as vegetarian.
Supermarket Aldi has contacted Derbyshire Live to reassure customers that the product is vegetarian and explained that the sauce has a distinctive smoked flavour.
Miss Ward said she was furious when she tasted the dish because she thought that it contained bacon, which Muslims are strictly forbidden from eating
She said: “I just sat down and my young son said ‘Mummy, this smells like bacon’.
“When I ate it, it tasted just like bacon which made me feel sick. I was absolutely seething and went back down to the store.
“I just went in with the jar of sauce and made them smell it. I thought it must have been contaminated.”
Having converted to Islam seven years ago, Miss Ward is familiar with the taste and odour of bacon.
“It isn’t. It’s just a white sauce but that shouldn’t explain why it tastes like bacon.”
Miss Ward has since lodged a formal complaint with Aldi and has kept some of the dish in her fridge as evidence, still concerned that the sauce may have been contaminated.

The material used to set joints in plaster board uses pig fat as a plasticiser and in most cases the setting of the joints will result in a criss cross pattern, so all of them living in modern western houses are living under crucifixes made of pig fat. Digest that!

Why would Allah create the tastiest animal (pig) and then command people not to eat it? Either Allah is an idiot or his followers are. Anyone that claims pigs are unclean have never seen the inside of a factory farm, all animals are unclean.
We need to remind Muslims (even converts) you live in the West, it’s our way or the highway. I’ve always said if someone invented bacon perfume they’d get rich. Because if you spray it everywhere, then everything becomes forbidden/haram for Muslims and many of them would leave.
Imagine having to read about a group of people you really despise every day, but you have no choice because that evil group of assholes are a threat to you, your freedom and your country.

This thuggess seems not to understand that there are many flavors that can be tasted as bacon like but are vegetable sources. Kosher baco bits has been around for years and there are numerous flavors that have no bacon in them. So… having asked to have that product checked, and assured that it wasn’t with animal products, bacon, she should begin to understand her religion. That is, it projects upon others, not muslim, the shame of hers for at worst inadvertantly tasting a product she is not to eat, but rather for having others eat it at all. That is her problem.
She is forcing her beliefs upon ‘all others’ and the tyranny of Islam is always so… non muslims must always bow to muslims needs.
