Brexit Party Pulls Ahead of Tories in General Election Poll

Brexit, like Trump, is a people’s movement, an individual’s movement. And like all great freedom movements, history will steamroll over the elites who revile, ridicule and repress the will of the people.

emocratic Revolution: Farage’s Brexit Party Pulls Ahead of Tories in General Election Poll

By Jack Montgomery, May 11, 2019:

The ground may be shifting under the British political landscape as Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party, already polling in first place for the upcoming European Parliament elections, has now pulled ahead of the governing Conservative Party in polls for general elections to the House of Commons.

The latest major poll of Westminster voting intentions, conducted on the 9th of May by ComRes, shows the Brexit Party up five points at 20 per cent, while the Tories under embattled prime minister Theresa May have sunk four points to 19 per cent.

The opposition Labour Party, under hard-left leader Jeremy Corbyn, is in the lead on 27 per cent, but down six points compared to its previous rating.

Remain’s answer to the Brexit Party, Change UK (CUK), also appears unable to progress beyond a small niche, and is down two point to 7 per cent.

While the composition of the British Parliament is somewhat more diverse than the U.S. Congress, with a relatively small number of MPs from third parties and parties particular to Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland joining the dominant Conservative (Tory) and Labour parties in the House of Commons, it is by and large a two-party system, with the country’s premiership having swung between the two since 1922.

For an outside force like the Brexit Party to displace one of the two parties — and in particular the Tories, which boasts of being the oldest political party in existence — would be essentially unprecedented.

It is true that the old Liberal Party, which persists in much-diminished form as the Liberal Democrats today, was formerly displaced by Labour, but that change accompanied a vast expansion of the franchise to include all working-class men, as well as some women over 30, at the end of the First World War.

That the Brexit Party is outstripping the long-established Conservative Party in popularity is all the more remarkable given the speed at which it has happened, with the party being just months old.

Brexit Party is the alternative party of the elite. Farage is a conservative wet who condemns Gerald Batten and UKIP for islamophobia. He says UKIP supporters are *Stella waving skinheads tatood up to the eyebrows. What ever he may have been promoting in the USA, in Britain he is the equivalent of a country club Republican.(Gerald Batten is the nearest to Donald Trump.)Ask yourselves why Farage is now being so heavily touted.

*Americans and Australians :think in terms of `Bud` and `Fosters`.

After what Farage said about Tommy Robinson I don’t really trust him. I’d imagine he’s talked smack about Anne Marie Waters as well.

I don’t think the average American has much idea at all about what goes on in British circles. We don’t get Parliament at all, and Nigel Farage is or was heard on conservative radio and tv so he had some cred, but not as much as perhaps last year or so, it seems. If he opposed Tommy Robinson and yammers about Islamophobia, I suspect most thinking Americans hearing that would lose their confidence in him as well. GB has a very short window in which to get it done, if Brits don’t elect someone to turn things around now, GB seems likely to disappear under Islam and their own government tyranny. Why more Brits don’t seem to understand that is impossible to comprehend.

The father of our country was British.

The father of Christianity was an “Israeli”.

It’s a no-brainer for any American Nationalist to support Brexit like we support Israel.

Agree. If Trump is smart enough , he should pass E.O to ban all terror/crime/illegal/drug linked persons from coming to America and those who advocate for them should lose their assets/citizenship and deported/jailed as terror agents.

Unless this is done there will be never ending cases . And America will become like canada/EU

Like this Left/Liberal Loons Run Country has been turned into ISIS/jihadi base https://tinyurl.com/y74v5327

But corrupt MSM will not talk about it

See how divided the ‘two party system’ can get ? What with the Leftist’s 30 to 100 years Long Marches of respective agitation, (notably through the public school system and ‘entertainment industries’), will it be long before America’s two party system gets balkanized beyond repair ??

Progressives
Democrats
Moderates
Libertarians
Republicans
Con-bertarians
Conserva-tarians
Conservatives

Bueller ?

If all the genius libertarians could somehow understand that the more they vote for ‘themselves,’ the more they will vote for more Leftist idealogy and agenda – most not realizing or caring about the horribly leftist-twisted ‘culture’ so much more reminiscent of Marxism than America’s exceptionally Freedom-inherent, Judeo-Christian-based founding …

This is amazing given that Farage and his BREXIT PARTY are two months old and the UK press led by the BBC are openly hostile. The Tories are going to be forced to eject May and her merry band of highwaymen and adopt the BREXIT program as their own. This would allow a coalition government with Farage as PM.

Farage is a vote splitting shill of the establishment who are scared to death of the new style UKIP under Gerard Batten as he talks openly about the evils of islam which is a subject Farage refuses to even mention and the establishment see it as safer having the near rebellious British public vote for a party that they can control even when we have left the EU..
VOTE UKIP!????????

At 3%, it seems a stretch. Americans hope the Brits wake up and see reality while they can do something about it.

At one time, Farage had me fooled. When he “retired” from politics … I figured he’d fought the good fight and deserved the money that he could make, gabbing on talk shows, etc. Even when he first got all high and mighty, calling working class men tattooed clowns and the like. But, when he started his new little political party … I knew that he was doing that, solely to take votes from UKIP and the like. I came to the conclusion that I had been drastically fooled (not the first time, likely won’t be the last) and he was nothing but a pompous sell-out to the ruling elite.

They have to keep on trying to get out of the nightmare that is the EU. They already voted for get out, but were sabotaged in Parliament. We have to be as persistent as the liberals. When they are defeated, they keep on trying until they get what they want. We must do the same, just to survive their onslaughts.
