Official High School Records Support Claim that Democrat Ilhan Omar Married Her Brother

Ilhan Omar built a vast coalition of East African voters to defeat the incumbent in Minneapolis.
The liberal media forgot to mention Ilhan was married to her brother.
Power Line reported:A reader has written us to point out that the Somali website Somalispot posted information last week suggesting Omar’s involvement in marriage and immigration fraud. The post notes that Omar married Ahmed Hirsi in 2002. Hirsi is the father of Omar’s three children. Omar is depicted with Hirsi and their children on Omar’s campaign website here.
The post further notes that Omar married her brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009, implying that the latter marriage assisted his entry into the United States. Her brother was a British citizen. “As soon as Ilhan Omar married him,” the post continues, “he started university at her [a]lma mater North Dakota State University where he graduated in 2012. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Minneapolis where he was living in a public housing complex and was later evicted. He then returned to the United Kingdom where he now lives.”
Ilhan Omar was elected to be a State Representative for District 60B November 8, 2016 and took her oath on the Quran.
In 2017, several months after Omar’s marriage history briefly created a national news item, Omar quietly petitioned family court for a default divorce, claiming she could not locate Elmi.
In October 208 David Steinberg at PJ Media posted proof that Rep. Ilhan Omar did indeed marry her brother back in 2009.Rep. Omar has stated that she did marry “British citizen” Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009, though the allegation that he is her brother is “absurd and offensive.”
However, according to official student enrollment records archived by St. Paul Public Schools and the state of Minnesota, an “Ahmed N. Elmi” was enrolled as a senior in the Class of 2003 at Arlington Senior High School in St. Paul, MN, from September 6, 2002, until June 10, 2003. He graduated and received a diploma.
And it gets worse…
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is under investigation for using her campaign funds when she was a state lawmaker to pay for her divorce.

Nothing is shocking when it comes to Ilhan Omar; her anti-Semitism, anti-Israel, anti-Republic underpinning or her acceptance of the evil inner-workings of Islam. Her marriage, one of incest, is mind-blowing but in truth, it is not; Islam is a ‘religion’ of perversity, misogynism and much that goes afoul of our laws. The discovery of not only her incestuous marriage but other fraudulent acts is defended by the Neo-Nazi Democrats, Pelosi and her gaggle of tagalongs.
Moreover, as she is a Muslim, her party will support her transgressions to the maximum; as they have shielded her antisemitic, anti-Israel, anti-Republic regurgitation. Our nation is in jeopardy, and the Nazi-Democrats do not give a damn about the perversity and betrayal of the woman. The Democrats, nonetheless, continue its attempt to usurp President Trump. One can only take an oath credibly on something that one believes in.. on penalty of suffering the prescribed penalty should one later break that oath.
According to Christianity, lying (i.e.”bearing false witness”) is a punishable sin, but according to the Koran, it can be a virtue for which one can expect to be rewarded in the afterlife.
What might a faithless atheist take an oath on.. their money, their life, their worldly possessions, or the lives of their loved ones, perhaps?

According to the Islamic faith, there is but ONE true God. They don’t deny outright that the God of Jews & Christians (‘Yahweh’), and Mohammed (‘Allah’) could actually be one and the same, and they also allow that Jesus could be one of God’s earlier prophets. BUT unfortunately Mohammed didn’t subscribe to the belief that He was also the Son of God, which makes all Jews & Christians ‘blasphemers’ and thus provides all the necessary justification for killing them.. unless, of course, they choose to recant and convert to Islam.

[As an aside, Nidal Hasan of Fort Hood notoriety is scheduled for execution in May. Update: The marriage certificate has now been found, proving that Omar DID in fact marry her biological brother in 2009, which makes her at the very least guilty of incest, and lying about it after the fact. A charge of immigration fraud could soon be laid since this illegitimate marriage was simply a ploy to obtain her brother’s American citizenship!

Omar entered the United States in 1992, her family sought asylum in the U.S. in 1995 and they moved to Minneapolis, but she only became a U.S. citizen in 2000 when she was 17 years old. Her brother was a British citizen who purportedly studied here briefly and graduated from a US High School in 2003, but he was presumably not yet an American citizen. Omar allegedly married him in 2009 and he then started university at her alma mater (North Dakota State U) where he graduated in 2012. He then moved to Minneapolis where he lived in public housing until evicted and returned to the UK where he now lives. Omar quietly obtained the divorce in 2017 when it became a problem in her political life.
This article clearly lacks too much of the necessary information (i.e. a dated marriage certificate, and a clear determination of when and/or whether the brother obtained his US citizenship) to make any intelligent judgement on its actual veracity.
Unfortunately, ‘Journalism’ isn’t quite all that it used to be!

Thank you, that helps. Of course it also opens other questions. Did she lie about her relationship in order to facilitate some sort of status for her brother? Is that not a crime? It appears that he is still a British subject and living in England.
It is not unusual in the Muslim world for cousins to marry, but I still think it odd to marry one’s brother. She was married before? She says she divorced him “in her tradition”. I think she means saying “I divorce you” three times. I think that only applies to the man.
For some reason I don’t trust her. Do you?
