Al-Jazeera Reporter Claims Standard Reporting About Easter Terror Attacks in Sri Lanka is ‘Islamophobic’

It’s as I’ve said for years: truth is the new hate speech. And this is one of the most blatant examples of that phenomenon that we have yet seen. For years my colleagues and I have been excoriated and vilified for calling attention to the very real threat of jihad terror. Now, after devout Islamic jihadis carry out a horrifying massacre killing hundreds of non-Muslims, an Al Jazeera “reporter” claims that even to reveal the name of one of the suspects is “islamophobic.”

It is no surprise that this is coming from Al Jazeera. For years, I have exposed the TV terror network of Al Jazeera — I have held press conferences and protests, and have written numerous pieces exposing the terror network’s terror network.

“Al-Jazeera Reporter Claims Standard Reporting About Easter Terror Attacks in Sri Lanka is ‘Islamophobic,’” by Cassandra Fairbanks, Gateway Pundit, April 21, 2019:

Al-Jazeera reporter Saif Khalid declared on Twitter that reporting the facts about the Easter terror attacks in Sri Lanka is “Islamophobic.”

Suicide bombers killed at least 200 Christians and injured 450 more in eight blasts on Easter Sunday. The attacks took place mainly at hotels and churches in Sri Lanka.

As the world watched for more information about who could have committed such a heinous and atrocious act, Khalid scolded an Indian newspaper for reporting the name of one of the suspects and details about a previous plot to bomb Indian High Commission in Colombo that intelligence sources believe he may have been involved in.

Khalid tweeted that the standard reporting was an example of “Indian media’s blatant Islamophobia at display.”…

Your contribution supports independent journalism

Please take a moment to consider this. Now, more than ever, people are reading Geller Report for news they won't get anywhere else. But advertising revenues have all but disappeared. Google Adsense is the online advertising monopoly and they have banned us. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have blocked and shadow-banned our accounts. But we won't put up a paywall. Because never has the free world needed independent journalism more.

Everyone who reads our reporting knows the Geller Report covers the news the media won't. We cannot do our ground-breaking report without your support. We must continue to report on the global jihad and the left's war on freedom. Our readers’ contributions make that possible.

Geller Report's independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our work is critical in the fight for freedom and because it is your fight, too.
