Like Goebbels. What will be the political perspective of those who will be given the responsibility to determine whether a news item is true or false? By what criteria? This is just another tool to shut down those who tell truths about Islam and jihad and Muslim immigration that the elites don’t want you to know. I guarantee you that actual fake news outlets such as CNN, the New York Times, and BuzzFeed and their European counterparts will never get flagged as false. Only truth-tellers will.

The EU has set up its own “fact checking” service in order to combat the spread of so-called “fake news” ahead of May’s European elections.
Story continues below advertisementThe new ‘Decoders of Europe’ site, based on the Boulevard St Germain in Paris, seeks to “answer a series of questions or accusations, explaining what constitutes the reality and sometimes the complexity of European policies. Beyond these explanations, our goal is also to better inform, on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, what works in Europe!” according to the EU website.
The site was launched by Isabelle Jegouzo, head of Representation of the European Commission in France. She said “Without getting involved in politics, we want to inform citizens, restore the balance between factual and misinformation ”Most of the “independent fact-checkers” operating at present tend towards a strong left-liberal bias, however, with well-known services such as Snopes rating debunked anti-conservative memes as “true”, and a clearly satirical article about left-liberal news network CNN purchasing a washing machine to “spin the news” as “false”, as if it had been a genuine news report.
PolitiFact, another well-known “fact-checker”, rated accurate claims by U.S. President Donald Trump about Russia’s nuclear arsenal as only “half-true”, on the subjective grounds that he was “missing the big picture”, and claims that Democrat presidential candidate Hilary Clinton had called for open borders as “mostly false”, despite her clearly stating that “My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders.”
How impartial an EU “fact-checking” service centred on the activities of the EU could ever hope to be seems open to doubt, considering how often the at least nominally independent ones cited above would appear to fall short….

Obviously the EU wants to tighten censorship of online news. The EU is full of dishonest politicians who want media censorship.

I’m actually surprised it took them this long to make an official “Ministry of Truth” aka 1984. I have said it before that the Islamization of Canada would be quicker under Trudeau because they (he and George) would be ahead of the mistakes made overseas. Right on cue, earlier this year, Trudeau established the “Democratic Ministry” with precisely that mandate, and the “minister” has already berated the social medias for their lack of censorship (Amazing Polly research) over the major scandal the illustrious leader has put himself in recently and threatens to sink his sorry ass. That “request” for censorship story appeared in a US (Buffalo) publication before any Canadian source carried it, and that might be because Trudeau has made the media an even more toxic environment than it was before.

I think it is a grandiose. That way you instantly know what the true facts are by just as a matter of principal accepting the exact opposite to what they are claiming to be the facts. Question is of cause, who is funding this outfit? It does not take much guessing, doesn’t it???

The “Europhobics” = the EU. The EU is anti-European Marxist Globalist tyranny destroying Europe w/ the Islamic invasion. It’s people like Victor Orban, the EU’s nemesis, who is Europhiliac. A more correct terms to report on the fascistic EU would have been “EU-phobia” or “anti-EU” dissent. Do not equate traditional “Europe” (previously part of the Free World) w/ the now fascistic EU with its Vichy-style puppet leaders installed in various dying European countries.

Notice how “fact checkers” are in quotes? That about sums it up. You hire your own “fact checkers” to counter the “facts” that the other “fact checkers” have released. About as reliable and truthful as snopes and the splc. Facts are relative these days, making them not really facts at all.
