Halima Aden Becomes First Swimsuit Model to Wear Hijab and Burkini in ‘SI’ Swimsuit Issue

For the first time, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue has featured a model in full burkini and hijab.
Halima Aden, a Somali immigrant who came to the U.S. when she was seven and who was born in in the African nation of Kenya, was photographed at her birth nation’s Watamu Beach by photographer Yu Tsai.
“I keep thinking [back] to six-year-old me who, in this same country, was in a refugee camp,” Halima said. “So to grow up to live the American dream [and] to come back to Kenya and shoot for SI in the most beautiful parts of Kenya–I don’t think that’s a story that anybody could make up.
“Sports Illustrated is proving that a girl that’s wearing a bikini could be right alongside a girl that’s wearing a burkini. And as women we can come alongside each other and be each other’s biggest cheerleaders,” the model told ABC News.
Halima made news when she became the first contestant to wear a hijab on the Miss Minnesota pageant. She became a semi-finalist and earned a contract with the IMG Modeling agency.
Since joining the agency, Halima has appeared on the cover of Vogue, has been featured on the catwalk at New York Fashion Week, and was included as a UNICEF ambassador.
SI Swimsuit editor MJ Day insisted that beauty “knows no boundaries” and that Muslim modesty can also be beautiful.
“I admire Halima,” Day said, “and I consider her an inspirational human for what she has decided to use her platform for and her work with Unicef as an ambassador. She is, in my opinion, one of the great beauties of our time, not only outside but inside. When we met, I was instantaneously taken by her intelligence, enthusiasm, and authenticity.“We both believe the ideal of beauty is so vast and subjective,” Day concluded. “We both know that women are so often perceived to be one way or one thing based on how they look or what they wear. Whether you feel your [sic] most beautiful and confident in a burkini or a bikini, YOU ARE WORTHY.”

Sports Illustrated issues FLY off of the shelf. They simply cannot print enough to keep up with demand. However, Wallace’s Farmer, that has that sows twin featured, under “yielding more pigs to the litter”, is there to pick up the slack.

They heard there is a pass called “The long bomb” and that was interesting to them.
Also they’ve heard about athletes having “explosive power” and that really got their attention.
They loved the idea that a competitor can be “on fire”, that its possible to be “cut off at the knees”, and the idea of a “throw down” led them to ask “How many stories can we throw them?”
Other sports terms of interest to the Religion of Pieces were:
-“down to the wire” which definitely comes into play when you’re building an IED
– “hat-trick”, which is when you can fit a large amount of explosives in your headgear, or when you behead someone wearing a hat, and the hat doesn’t even fall off, always a crowd-pleaser
-“hit below the belt” which is when someone unfairly hits you below your suicide belt
-“infighting”, which is the basis of Muslim societies, second only to in-breeding
-“light the lamp” which is to light a slow-fuse on your IED
-“ringer” which is slang for a burner cell used as a remote trigger device for your bomb
“throw in the towel” which is when you take off your headgear and throw in the washing machine

They should have these women on the cover. This is ISLAM in action. There is not a woman out there that wants to go through life like this. There are worse photos too….. This is a collage of photos of female victims of acid attacks from Pakistan. Reportedly, more than 100 women have their faces disfigured with acid a year in Pakistan. Majority of the acid attacks are carried out by husbands of the women who do something worthy of the punishment.

This Is what would happen to Halima should she put on a bikini no matter how modest we might find that. Muslim women have been slaves for centuries. Today, in the USA and Canada they are being murdered and mutilated by Muslim zealots. It is a growing problem everywhere.Here in Houston we have had several “honor killings.” Others have gone unsolved because the offended husband or even father hires outside professional to kill their daughters and wives.

Speaking only for myself, I cannot decide how to react to this article. While I vehemently oppose the fully clothed and covered Islamic custom of requiring a women to hide herself under garments that allegedly make her less likely to attract any man with vile intentions, something I find shameful and a put down of those women who wear such outfits, this particular girl is at least not face covered and she enjoys good looks. Furthermore her figure, which is so special and unique to the female gender, is also attractive and visible. Therefore, I agree she has the look for SI, though I hope that she and those like her will appreciate what she has been given here in the states, and understands that in traditional Islamic countries, dressed even like this, she would be subject to discipline of the severest kind.

Have you ever seen pictures of them walking streets of Western cities? Women are almost invisible behind layers of clothing, while the men are shirtless, with Gold Chains, shorts, & gym shoes. It’s a wonder there isn’t more heat stroke reported in medical journals of these unfortunate women.

Here’s another really beautiful woman (the face is the only thing we see, of course!), sort of a cousin to Rep. Omar, nursed in Pisslam in those wretched refugee camps in Kenya (where they should have remained and NOT been rescued by the naive Americans!), but both of Somali descent (East African blacks are really the most attractive of that race, IMHO). Anyway, they are living, perfect examples of what Jamie Glazov, in his new book, IDs as Jihadi who first seduce, then kill you. These women are using their physical beauty to besot American audiences (and men, in particular), only to “pounce” once they have achieved a certain degree of power. As a catholic, I support this modest Islamic attire.
Western women are anti-Christian and immodestly dressed.
Traditional catholic dress for women is the same as this modest swimsuit and Muslim attire in general.

Ask yourself…why hasn’t any Leftist magazine promoted the “modesty” of Amish apparel or for that matter, any modest clothing for women? Remember it’s the Leftists who have promoted the demolition of Christian morals in the West.
