Parkfield Community School in Birmingham, England had classes in which a program titled “No Outsiders” taught that “families look different,” in an effort to teach schoolchildren about homosexuality. The Guardian reports that the program was created by assistant headteacher Andrew Moffat, “who was awarded an MBE for his work in equality education and is also in the running for a major international teaching award.” In the program, the students read books with titles such as “Mommy, Mama and Me” and “King & King.”

The Guardian adds that Moffat has been receiving threats through a leaflet campaign.

A primary school has been forced to abandon anti-homophobia lessons following protests from Muslim parents.
Parkfield School in Birmingham has said it will ditch the ‘No Outsiders’ classes until after Easter while a ‘consultation’ takes place with parents.
The school’s assistant head, Andrew Moffat, created the lessons to promote tolerance of same-sex couples and other minorities.

The children involved in the exodus represent about 80 per cent of the school’s entire enrolment, which is 98 per cent Muslim
However, strict religious parents said they objected because homosexuality is against their religion, while others said children were too young to learn about such matters.
On Friday, the parent campaigners said about 600 Muslim children, aged between four and 11, were withdrawn from the school for the day in protest.
Mr Moffat, who is himself gay, has also been threatened and the school was daubed in graffiti as the row escalated in recent weeks.
At one protest parents held signs that read ‘say no to promoting of homosexuality and LGBT ways of life to our children’, ‘stop exploiting children’s innocence’, and ‘education not indoctrination’.

The school yesterday confirmed in a letter to parents that the lessons would be suspended for several months and religious education would be taught instead.
It said: ‘Up to the end of this term, we will not be delivering any No Outsiders lessons in our long term year curriculum plan, as this half term has already been blocked for religious education (RE).
‘Equality assemblies will continue as normal and our welcoming No Outsiders ethos will be there for all.’
Mr Moffat, who is currently shortlisted for the Global Teacher Prize, resigned from another primary school – Chilwell Croft academy, also in Birmingham – after a similar dispute with Muslim parents.

Police were called to the protest outside the primary school in the Saltley area of Birmingham
His No Outsiders programme has been shared online so that other schools can replicate it.
Books being read by the pupils include Mommy, Mama and Me, and King & King – stories about same-sex relationships and marriages.
In a letter to the parents, the trustee board of Excelsior Multi Academy Trust, which runs the school, confirmed that the lessons will now be stopped until the end of the term.
The decision was reached after a meeting between Andrew Warren, the regional schools commissioner for the West Midlands, parents, the trust, and Liam Byrne, the local Labour MP.

The school started its programme four years ago and says it should welcome people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender
The letter said: ‘The discussions were a helpful first step and identified the key issues that are concerning parents, including the ethos, the books, the age appropriateness, the lessons and the assemblies.
‘The agreed outcome of the meeting was the need to have a discussion with the school community about the No Outsiders curriculum and how it should be delivered.’
It comes after Mr Byrne spoke about the row in a Commons debate on a petition over parents’ rights to withdraw children from such lessons.
From 2020, all primary schools will be encouraged to teach gay and transgender issues as part of compulsory relationships education – and parents will not be allowed to withdraw their children.

Mr Byrne said: ‘There has been a breakdown of trust between parents and teachers [at Parkfield] which is completely unacceptable.
‘On the one hand we have very angry parents. On the other, we have teachers that have felt very intimidated and we had a graffiti attack on the school this morning. Both absolutely unacceptable.’
Mr Byrne said that while he applauded Mr Moffat’s efforts, he will be fighting for parents ‘rights for their views to be heard, the right for their role to be respected and the right for choice to be protected’.
However, Amanda Spielman, the head of Ofsted, has praised the programme and said all children should be taught some families have ‘two mummies’ or ‘two daddies’.

Every one knows Christians are bigots! Sarcasm off.
What concerns me is Christians uniting with Muslims on this and being snowed about the broader picture of Islam. Christians should NEVER unite with Islam under any circumstance. The left would love to have more “interfaith” crap with diametrically opposed religions. The problem is most people don’t seek out what the differences are.

A political Vatican was responsible for the horrific murder of a million or so true believers over past centuries. It was thought to have been finished/ended when Napolean’s general arrested Pope Pius VI, imprisoned him, killed a 1000 priests by sword, and occupied the Vatican with his troops.
This reign was known as the “Rule of the Papalcy”, and lasted from 538 AD to 1798, 1260 yrs, exactly as prophesized in Daniel 7. The “wound” should have been deadly, but the Pope led Vatican stumbled on as just a church with the Pope almost like a prisoner within its’ walls.
In 1929, Mussolini signs the “Lateran Treaty”, and restores the Vatican to its’ former sovereignty. In less then 100 yrs., the Pope is once again on top of the world, rubbing elbows with world leaders of every stripe. Rev 13, 17, even 18, all deal with aspects of a RCC that is once again given world level influence, “..the wound heals”.

The RCC may well be likened to the group “Free Masons”. The degrees within that org. determine things like authority/responsibility, but only the very highest levels (32’s, 33’s, ?) are exposed to the seedier, less than mom’s apple pie nature of the org.’s roots. What lower members and the public see is a facade.
When you say he is not well liked and a failure, I think that statement needs qualification – to Catholics – to Christianity – to worldliness – to fulfulling scriptual prophecy ?
It is true that his utterances have offended many Christians and Catholics even ranking ones, but his professed “Who am I to judge” appeals to a large fringe who want to feel included, and his call for a unification of all religions is being received very well.

Catholicism never represented Christianity- they used to kill them in the most horrible ways as “heretics”, and perverted the faith with idol and Mary worship (among other things).
The depiction in Daniel and Revelations of a powerful, global, seducing religious entity, fits perfectly with the Vatican (a veiled root identity) and the activities of this Pope. Prophetically, it is right on target.
This latest scandal will be handled. A few high-rankers will be thrown out and maybe even an appeal for understanding and acceptance of homosexual life style will win even more of the world’s admiration. The RCC entity will continue as it is, and will fulfill it’s prophetic destiny.

The LGBT movement is intersectionlity and it is not fair to the gay people who are lumped together with “transgender.” There is no such thing as gender changing, regardless. Your genes make you a man or a woman. There is no in between. You may be homosexual and still try to act heterosexual, (bi-sexual), but you can’t change your gender.
I don’t really care about gender dysphoria, and I think it is a mental illness both for the people who have it, and for those who accept it. I don’t care if a man keeps his penis in a bottle, or his pants, he has no business trying to compete in athletics against a real female. It is not fair to women that a man competes in high school sports against them, and they lose aa scholarship to college.
The biggest problem is that our society is accepting this as the new normal. It has been around all these years, and it is not normal. There is no gay gene, but there is gay orientation, and most psychologists know this. You can’t reverse it, so you learn to live with it. But Transgender is not “just gay,” it is a whole new level of fantasy. These people are like actors who dress up and then forget they are just playing a role.

To be honest, I also feel that primary school children shouldn’t necessarily be exposed to this kind of indoctrination. I mean, it does seem to be trying to force them to adopt and accept specific views and beliefs before they are old enough to even properly understand them….

This is only the one of very few times Islam works against the push of LGBT, Transgenders.

To me it is good as it highlights to the LGBT, Transgenders that Islam is a danger. Lucky the Muslims did not throw them of buildings and time for the Gays to wake-up and stop the inflow of Islam as you will be flying from the tops of buildings if Islam takes over.

This really shows how stupid the LGBT community has been all along and they would have been better to remain silent about their lifestyle. Trouble the LGBT has made it like something one has to be and no thought for many non Gays. The LGBT deserves all it gets from Muslims.
