On January 19, 2017, it looked as if ISIS was in Iraq and Syria to stay. It controlled a huge expanse of territory, larger than Great Britain at its apogee, and Barack Hussein Obama’s feckless policies had created a situation that looked as if it would control that territory for decades to come. It took President Trump to confront and destroy this evil. Now ISIS has lost virtually all of its territory. It still remains an international jihad terror threat, but there is no denying that it has been drastically weakened. It takes strength, not the weakness of the left, to confront this magnitude of evil.

BAGHOUZ, Syria (AP) — U.S.-backed Syrian forces on Tuesday seized control of an encampment held by the Islamic State group in eastern Syria, after hundreds of militants surrendered overnight, a spokesman said, signaling the group’s collapse after months of stiff resistance. A group of suspects involved in a January bombing that killed four Americans in northern Syria were among militants captured by the Kurdish-led forces.
Story continues below advertisementThe taking of the IS camp was a major advance but not the final defeat of the group in Baghouz, the last village held by the extremists where they have been holding out for weeks under siege, according to Mustafa Bali, the spokesman for the Kurdish-led force known as the Syrian Democratic Forces. Still, fighters from the force were starting to celebrate anyway.
“I’m happy it’s over. Now I know my people are safe,” said a fighter who identified himself as Walid Raqqawi who fought in the camp Monday night. He said he is returning to his hometown of Raqqa to rest. Comrades from his unit sang and danced in celebration at an outpost in Baghouz, all saying they were looking forward to going home.
An unknown number of IS militants still clung to a tiny sliver of land trapped between the Euphrates River and the encampment now held by the SDF, officials in the force said….

Going to war against Assad based on video made by Al-qaeda affiliates was height of stupidity. Everyone including MSM supported Trump on this stupidity as they are funded by Military industrial complex which loves war, even if its based on a Lie

I disagree the article you referred to is two years old it was Obama and the EU that created Isis along with Clinton. Assad is still there and our President will not allow him to be taken down.

Well Assad is still alive and look what happened today. To think Obama was for Israel your nuts Obama is Erdogan boy that is why they wanted Asaad removed. It was the neocons the supported overthrowing Gaddafi and Arming the Turkish Rebels in Syria. Graham who should be arrested for treason helped Obama remove Mubarak and install Mohamed Morsi and After Al Sisi with the help of the israeli military removed Graham Rubio and McCain tried to get him released but he told them now. That’s because ISIS is just Islam in it’s true form and there are 1.5 billion muzzrats ready to die for their moon-god so ISIS won’t disappear until Islam is eliminated. It’ll just be called something else in the future.
Can anyone think of any other religion on this planet that has a military wing, propaganda and “rights” organizations? Only Islam has these, it is not a religion, it is a political fascist movement like Nazism or Communism whose goal is world domination and the West should treat it accordingly.
Start by stripping Islam of any religious status and the privileges that comes with it. Then we must deem it a treasonous ideology and seek to jail and deport all of its adherents.
The fact that Islam poses as a religion is one of its greatest strengths because people assume that they hold humanitarian values like the rest of us, when in reality its goal is our destruction.
