The greatest threat to Israel and the Jewish people are left-wing Jews. Left-wing anti-Zionist Jews in Israel are just as repulsive and despicable as their American counterparts. The Arab political parties in Israel are treasonous and vehemently anti-Semitic, and want Israel eradicated as a Jewish state. However, that did not matter to the left-wing activist judges on Israel’s High Court, who instead banned the Zionist Dr. Michael Ben-Ari from participating in Israel’s upcoming election. Israel’s next election is on April 8. Benjamin Netanyahu must be re-elected.
“Israel: High Court Disqualifies Ben Ari, Approves Anti-Zionist Arab Parties,” by David Israel, The Jewish Press, March 17, 2019:
Israel’s Supreme Court on Sunday ruled that Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, a candidate on the right-wing parties’ slate, will not be allowed to run in the upcoming Knesset elections. The same court also ruled that Ofer Cassif of the Arab party Hadash, and the Arab Ra’am-Balad slate are allowed to run.
Story continues below advertisementThe decision to disqualify Ben Ari was accepted by a majority of eight judges to one, as did the decision to allow Cassif and Ra’am-Balad to run. In addition, the judges decided unanimously to allow the Arab Hadash-Ta’al list to run in the coming elections.
Chairman of the National Union MK Bezalel Smotrich issued the following statement in response to the banning of Dr. Ben-Ari:
“This is the theater of the absurd in its most profound reincarnation, and an anticipated result from judges who more naturally belong in the Meretz court. Ofer Cassif, Tibi and Zoabi, supporters of terrorism every one, are in, but Ben Ari, a Zionist Jew whose sons serve in the IDF, is out.”

need a little ISIS action on these leftist judges. They would not be missed by the Jewish people. Besides, who gives the israeli supreme court the right to decide who runs for office? If the people are against the pol they won’t vote for him.

A good part of the reason that one doesn’t see Israeli leaders on the right do they things they need to is because the Israeli court system. One notices that Premier Netanyahu is being harassed with corruption problems that the Leftwing politicians hardly suffer from The Attorney General and the Israeli Supreme court persecution. Ariel Sharon had to give up the Sinai because of his Greek island swindle.. The correct thinking but completely non charismatic Moshe Feiglen might gain a seat, but I don’t think my nephew, who is a member of Feiglen’s party, won’t oin him in the knesset. 🙁

How can a court disqualify a candidate from running for the Knesset? Where do they get the authority to do that? I find the modern state of Israel disappointing relative to say the days when it was run by Maccabean kings.

A court can throw a Prime Minister in jail or throw his son in jail as was the ase with Ariel Sharonb. Only the President of Israel is free from criminal prosecution and that is pretty much a ceremonial title.

What kind of democracy has some judges decide who can and can not be on the ballot. In the former USSR only approved candidates were on the ballot rendering the voting exercise meaningless. What was his “crime” to be prevented from running??

An 8-1 majority means that Michael Ben-Ari had to have broken some other procedures that disqualified him from running and Geller is trying to pass this off as something else.
@cylde:disqus – this sounds like procedural violations…i.e., Ben-Ari did not follow the rules.
@allegedcomment:disqus – if the USA stopped aid until they allowed Michael Ben-Ari to run, Israel will simply do what other countries shunned by the USA have done: turn to China!
