Excelsior! Finally someone is taking these libelous destroyers to task. I am so here for it. The enemedia lies and defames those with whom they disagree. They murder the good names of good people.

Nick Sandmann Sues Washington Post for $250 Million over ‘Defamatory’ Coverage

Attorneys for Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann filed a lawsuit against the Washington Post on Tuesday, seeking $250 million in compensatory and punitive damages.

“The Post wrongfully targeted and bullied Nicholas because he was the white, Catholic student wearing a red ‘Make America Great Again’ souvenir cap on a school field trip to the January 18 March for Life in Washington, D.C. when he was unexpectedly and suddenly confronted by Nathan Phillips (‘Phillips’), a known Native American activist, who beat a drum and sang loudly within inches of his face (‘the January 18 incident’),” the lawsuit filed by lawyers Todd V. McMurtry and Lin Wood in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky reads.

A liberal judge will see the hat as a form of hate speech and dismiss the case.

I don’t think so this time. The tapes vindicate It was when the tapes were viewed that the lie unraveled.
Nick Sandmann and with this kind of money, he could easily appeal it and will.

I totally agree he has a winning case, but liberal judges are bias to the extreme.

This kid has some of the best tort lawyers in the country and plenty of targets. The judge just cannot dismiss for no cause. He can be disciplined for that and they would go immediately to the appellate court.

More likely is that the case is heard in DC and the WaPo decides to take it to trial, believing that a Democratic jury pool means Sandmann loses at trial.

I hope you’re right felix, but remember what happened to Faith Goldy – a liberal judge denied her her rights and refused to hear her case. Scum wear robes too.

This is a different.

More likely is: the case gets moved to DC (because the reporting happened in DC and not KY), and a liberal jury in DC rules against Sandmann. The WaPo will take this to trial and ask for a jury trial, refusing to settle. If Sandmann appealed from that, another jury would simply rule against him again.

The aim is likely to get SCOTUS to revisit NYT v. Sullivan, gambling that different circuits will split.

Nope, that would be misconduct on the judges part and he would be brought up for judicial review board.

Thank God we were spared the photos of Bezos. Anthony Weiner’s sexting photos were enough.
BTW he is now out of prison and in a halfway house.

As for little known facts, have you noticed Bezos’ left eye looks fake?

Ever heard of a “slam dunk”? The $250 million being sought is ironically what Bezos paid to purchase that leftist rag he tries to pass off as a newspaper.

This, I understand, is just one of as many as 100 similar lawsuits being pursued against the enemedia and other defamers of the Covington student. I believe that at least a few will quickly settle providing the funds to pursue what will be protracted litigation against WAPO that will probably land in the Supreme Court where I hope Kavanagh and Thomas will take the lead in an opinion that will severely restrict the MSM from this and similar tactics of character assassination. The left has been getting away with this for along time and it is time to bring it to an end.

You GO, little life protecting Catholic boy! Praying for your success, Nick.

And thank you for showing the world how Catholics should behave when an old, lying agitator bangs a drum in your face. Turning the other cheek was the charitable thing to do at the March for Life. But WaPo telling lies about you and trying to destroy your life for political purposes? SUE THE PANTS OFF OF THEM!

I read that whole thing. It was long and I lost concentration twice. Fell asleep once. However I cleared the cobwebs and dove back in. The Washington Post is clearly a propaganda machine along with many others. I hope this young man wins and the WP writes a huge check. CNN, MSNBC and (others) with all their “talent” need to make a note.
