Student, mother voice concern after Frontier High teacher hangs Nazi flag in classroom

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A teacher at Frontier High School hung a Nazi flag in his world history classroom this week, prompting one concerned mother to reach out to Eyewitness News.
Roxanne Hartline tweeted a photo Thursday that her daughter, 15-year-old Vaniece Thomas, took in her classroom.
“So this evening, daughter says that the school knows about this & bcuz they’re studying the Holocaust “it’s okay”!! Um excuse me, they wouldn’t put up a poster of two people engaging in sex in health class! Why?!Bcuz it’s OFFENSIVE!” reads Hartline’s tweet.
Thomas told Eyewitness News on Friday that the teacher, David Gaeta, hangs the flag in his classroom every year while they study World War II and the Holocaust. After students shared that they were shocked by the Nazi symbolism in their classroom, Gaeta explained his reasoning for having it up, noting that it’s a flag given to him from a relative who served in WWII and would be taken down after the lesson was concluded, according to Thomas.
A Kern High School District spokeswoman said the lesson on WWII is two weeks, and students confirmed the flag typically stays up for the duration of the lesson.
“The only reason I wasn’t more mad about it was because it was Mr. Gaeta,” Thomas said, noting that he’s a well-liked teacher and she did not want him to suffer any consequences.
The photo tweeted by Hartline shows a handwritten message on the classroom ceiling: “We heart Gaeta.”
A Kern High School District spokeswoman said the flag, a decades-old artifact, was “strictly for the lesson,” and the district doesn’t plan any action against the teacher.
Lindsay Pearson, a Jewish student who graduated from Frontier in 2016, said students would often use anti-Semitic slurs and symbols against her.
“I would get swastikas on my desk all the time. I’d get called names,” Pearson said. “So seeing that in a classroom, hung by a teacher, was also just another, like, blow, you know?”
Pearson was not a student of Gaeda’s but would visit his classroom daily in her senior year, when she’d run passes from the front office to various classrooms.
“If he had just shown it on like a Powerpoint or something like that like my teacher did, um it wouldn’t be as big of an issue,” Pearson said. “But hanging it like it’s an American flag almost, is what I take issue with. It should not be so prominently displayed, and for several weeks at a time.”
Christopher Jacobson, a special education teacher at Fairfax Junior High, weighed in.
“It is an interesting educational tool to have a piece of history like that,” Jacobson said, but noted, “it should just be a take out and put away piece.”
“I think when you hang something, you kind of give a certain respect to it. And there should be no respect for the item and its symbology on its own,” Jacobson said.
“It was part of history and part of a lesson, but it’s not something that’s hanging permanently in his classroom,” Public Information Officer Erin Briscoe-Clarke told Eyewitness News over the phone.
“This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone be like, ‘this is not appropriate,’ and it’s surprising to me that it took this long honestly,” Pearson said.

The problem is: the more it will be restricted, punished and
forbidden, the more “interesting” it will become. Better is to
throw the waste in the trash can, where it belongs and forget.
The Nazis operated and standardized everything down to the smallest detail
with extreme precision and perfection, just like the Holocaust itself. That’s why
their symbols still unfold such an impressive, seductive power of imprint today. https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/de%271933.html
To “understand” Nazi symbolism, one has to deal with it more closely. The
Hakenkreuz (Nazis never called it “Swastika”) consists of two crossed Sieg-
runes. While the lightnings of the SS are two not crossed Siegrunes. Very
powerful symbolism, Millions of people have felt fear at the sight of them.
Every advertising expert today knows that the combination “red, white,
black” burns itself most urgently into our memory. That’s why I always
call the BILD Adolf’s Toiletpaper. PI-News has adopted this principle.
A legacy of our human development, since we associate red as war-
ning color with blood or ripe fruits. Ann Coulter uses the same prin-
ciple for her books like Mr. Sarrazin. And the same German publisher. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random_House
Yeah, sure. It is an ancient symbol and known in all cultures. Normally, it’s
supposed to bring luck, happiness. If one analyzes the call “Sieg Heil”, the
Sieg (victory) is again included, as well as Heil. It’s related to the English
holy, whole, heal. It has brought neither victory nor salvation nor holiness.
From a geometric or static perspective. The colours of the
Israel flag are cheerful and optimistic. Connected to the sky.
They have avoided to soak their symbol in blood. That was
quite good. But I think it was unknown in ancient Judaism. He
who has skulls on his hats and blood on his flag can’t do any-
thing good. He can’t be a servant of heaven, but of violence.
It doesn’t help them to write “God with us” on their belt buckles.
Marc, I would never try to minimize the anti-Semitism of many Christian churches. However, I don’t see that any of the sources you referenced make the case that a church was the source of Hitler’s ideas.
The fatal influence of his pamphlet “About The Jews” is undisputed. Although at first he
was a self-styled “friend of the Jews”. Allegedly he had only become an anti-Semite by
studying the Torah, allegedly he had learned Hebrew for this purpose. Many people say
he split the church. Nevertheless, Protestant work ethics led to progress and capitalism.
I meant his ideas on his symbolism. Whereby Hitler was a Catholic (like Goebbels),
and never excommunicated from the church, not even post mortem. Hitler has said
that he will “continue with the persecution of the Jews only conquently, which the
Catholic Church has been doing for 500 years, perhaps even for 1500 years.”
The then Pope called Hitler a “hero”, the Catholic Church
ensured after the war that hundreds, if not thousands, of
war criminals could escape to South America with impunity.
Even if one has to look at everything in context of time, many
had no idea how vicious and dangerous the creature Hitler
or his “ideas” are. Gandhi addressed Hitler with “friend” and
wrote him letters, the young JFK raved about Nazi Germany.

Snowflakery at its best! More psychological projection from the idiot that said, “hanging it up is showing it respect..” ???!LOL, WHAT THE ACTUAL F?!!!
Thomas, I don’t agree. For Jews, and those sensitive to the persecution of Jews, the Nazi flag is a monumental symbol of hatred and the power to murder Jews. I think in a high school setting, displaying the flag in a classroom does show a certain acceptance of it, if not actual respect. Moreover, the message that the students get may not be the one the teacher intends. With some of those persecuted by the Nazis still walking the earth, a decent respect for them should mean the Nazi symbol is accepted in any venue.
It may belong in a museum, but I don’t think it belongs in a high school classroom, particularly one which may have Jewish students whose family members were murdered by Nazis. I think my sentiments line up more with the teacher who opined,
“If he had just shown it on like a Powerpoint or something like that like my teacher did, um it wouldn’t be as big of an issue,” Pearson said. “But hanging it like it’s an American flag almost, is what I take issue with. It should not be so prominently displayed, and for several weeks at a time.”
But does Pam have a right to be pissed off by a Swastika, but AT THE SAME TIME, insist she has the right to piss off Muslims with Mohamed cartoons? Do you see the hypocracy, or since Pam is Jewish, do we apply a DOUBLE STANDARD? Yes or No. Simple question.
No, not a “double standard”. Both images or symbols, Mohamed and the swastika, represent the same supremest ideology: they require those who believe to murder those who worship differently.
NAZIS and Hitler have been defeated. Hitler and NAZIS are openly shunned.
Islam needs to be exposed for the same and WORSE EVILS that Hitler accomplished,
otherwise, “never forget” rings hollow. Expose ISLAM too!
Islam is an ongoing conquering ideology posing as a “religion”. There is a big difference.
MUSLIMS love HITLER. to this day!
But does Pam have a right to be pissed off by a Swastika, but AT THE SAME TIME, insist she has the right to piss off Muslims with Mohamed cartoons? Do you see the hypocracy …
Mohamed-
No, I do not see the hypocrisy or DOUBLE STANDARD AT ALL- the reason being THERE IS NONE. Allow me to explain.
The swastika, as used by the Nazis, was a symbol of their murderous philosophy, directed not exclusively, but first and foremost, at Jews. As I indicated, simply a decent respect for those who suffered and lost family at the hands of Nazi persecution should preclude the ready display of Nazi symbols.
Particularly with high school students, a captive audience at an impressionable age, symbols of Nazism should not be granted a position of respect, and I think posting the flag in the classroom the way that teacher did can be understood that way. Moreover, the Nazis were the enemy of the
United States- I am going to wager that means very little to you, but
Americans should not go out of their way to elevate the status of those who not only were the enemies of freedom, but also the enemies of the United States of America.
The Mohammed cartoons, and Pamela’s exhibit of some of them, are a very different matter. Now I realize how terribly upset some Moslems get over mockery of the pedophile prophet- after all, Mohammed himself had a poet who had mocked him murdered (or approved of same). But mockery, as the
murderous Mohammad undoubtedly realized, can be a powerful tool to
undermine the carefully crafted image self-important personages in positions of power who seem to infest this world.
But comparing situations- high school class at a government school vs an exhibition that adults pay to attend- are so different as to make drawing analogies a fool’s errand. I do not think that Nazi symbols should be illegal (except possibly in Germany), but a lot of Moslems think that mocking their
dippy little prophet warrants death. Given that Mohammed himself had that
attitude, I suppose it makes sense in their paradigm- but it makes Islam a murderous cult of death, rather like the Nazis. I say mock him some more!
Both Islam and Nazism share the desire to control the human mind and spirit, and therefore are the enemy of freedom of thought. You seem to share their
predilection for opposing expressions of the individual mind and spirit. You certainly have shown your tendency to conflate starkly different situations and to ignore essential distinctions.
In short sir, you have no “right” not to be “pissed off” by other people’s expressions. Grow up and get over it. But yes, that same governing philosophy does apply to the Nazi flag too- but nevertheless, keep it out of the classroom.
Since it’s not illegal to display a swastika or cartoon images of Mohammad in the US, it’s perfectly ok to piss off anyone who may be so inclined. The difference is clear, though. If you offend a Jew with a swastika, they may be disgusted, but if you display a likeness of Mohammad, your life is going to be threatened my radical Muslims. No double standard whatsoever.
The flag was being used as part of a history lesson.
Drawing a cartoon of the pedophile Mohammad is FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
There is no hypocrisy.
How many times have people had to apologize for “offending” Muslims for just expressing how EVIL they are? Being critical of Mohammad is Islam is considered blasphemy. Blasphemy is punishable by death. In a country that
values FREEDOM OF SPEECH, includes the RIGHT to OFFEND, otherwise you don’t have freedom of speech. If Muslims don’t like that, then live in a Muslim country where you won’t be offended. Meanwhile, beheadings, FGM, raping women, animals, boys, infants, burning people alive etc. doesn’t offend Muslims. Why is that?
We don’t want Sharia or Islam’s hyper sensitivity here.
Under Sharia, those who insult Muhammad or Allah are to be executed. So are those who desecrate the Quran or commit other acts of blasphemy. This tradition began with Muhammad, as recorded in the Hadith and by his biographers.
Quran (6:93) – “Who can be more wicked than one who invent a lie against Allah?” If the death penalty is prescribed for lesser crime, then it stands to reason that it should be imposed for the most “wicked”.
Quran (33:57) – “Verily, those who annoy Allah and His Messenger () Allah has cursed them in this world, and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating torment”
Quran (33:61) – [continues from above] “Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter.”
Sahih Bukhari (4:241) – Those who mocked Muhammad at Mecca were later killed at Badr. Some undoubtedly died in the battle (provoked by Muhammad), but the Sira records that Abu Jahl was killed as he “lay helpless” (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 451) and Uqba was brutally executed by Muhammad in captivity for having put his foot on him while he was praying and draping him with camel entrails (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 458 and Ibn Kathir v.2 p.318):
As a certified Holocaust Awareness Instructor and a person of the Jewish faith, I have absolutely no problem with the teacher hanging this flag in his classroom for the two week period that he is teaching about WWII. The fact that the symbol still elicits a visceral response is EXACTLY why he hangs it – a great visual aide.
Well I think a high school class is not the place to give the Nazi symbol currency. Creating a visceral response- probably only to Jewish students- is not a good reason to display it. Moreover, you do not know how the students will react, and I think there is a danger it could be considered “cool” (like the image of the murderous Che Guevera), and it simply should not be.
Perhaps not. I see ample evidence for their lack of serious interest in matters of import. Nor do I understand how prominently displaying a flag like that is going to make it seem NOT cool. Connecting it with the historical atrocities of the Nazis might help in that regard.
I tend to agree with you. If it is done for those reasons. It’s part of history.
We should NEVER FORGET or HIDE a symbol, such as a flag, or tell what happened.
From the article it sounds as if this flag may have been liberated from some Nazis during WW II. Which means there were probably a bunch of dead Nazis near that flag.
I can definitely understand that last sentiment, and I think I understand your argument, however, aren’t you presupposing that the instructor did NOT make his teaching intentions clear? The ONLY way the ‘message may not be the one intended’ is if the teacher DIDN’T explain it correctly, which his students said was NOT the case! (Ok ,some other snowflake walking down the hall, Looking to be offended, who didn’t have him as an instructor, MAYBE….but a quick conversation with Anyone IN the class would alleviate that!)
Don’t get me wrong, I love and respect the Jewish people, same as any other, but this seems more like the libturds tearing down confederate statues, which fcks UP the teaching of history, it DOESN’T aid it in Any way!
Thanks for your response, I hope people will think through this argument for themselves!
(& I’m still thinking you could be on to something with a compromise being proposed for this particular instance!)

Bet they don’t hang a confederate flag, or a burning cross during Black history month.
Why not? Confederate flag is their baby. Just heard on radio that Joe Biden was in support of racial segregation until mid 70th. It was probably released by DNC before presidential primaries. I expect more truth to come before next year.
Define “They”. I think it’s entirely possible, even probable that these hateful images are shown in historic films. Is there any difference if it’s an artifact in the class, or a visual image on screen? I say no, and used as a teaching aide, it’s perfectly fine and very effective.
I suggest he/she meant leftist teachers. Logically you are absolutely correct but it shows hypocrisy of the left. They do not follow their own stupid rules they made up.
Weeellll, Trump does STILL have his praise, in his pretty speech, to the millions of muzlims in this country, on the White House dot GOV….web page! Sickening!

I disagree. There are pictures in history books of that obscene flag. Displays in public is hateful, and hurtful. Making excuses for it are just as bad. . Jewish families , I`m sure are horrified. As am I. That`s OK with you ?
Dave I have one I fly it every Lee Jackson day. That day celebrated the General Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Both Virginians. However Martin Luther King hi-jacked that day and it sort of faded away. My flag would stay behind the door but some ass hat said we can’t fly them so….Don’t tell me want I can and cannot do. If they had kept their mouth shut it would still be behind the door.
Hello Merch.
There’s nothing more irritating than a snowflake telling you what you can and can Not do.
When I visit America I will take one home with me and place it with pride on my wall.
What I want to know is WHERE was the USA flag???? So when they study early American history do they fly the Confederate flag??? That will really set the libturds off.
I’m sure there is a US flag waving on a pole in the front of the school. Keep in mind, he’s not displaying the swastika to indoctrinate anyone, or seek allegiance. He’s displaying it as an educational tool, for a limited time, specifically relevant to his curriculum. I think the same should apply to the Confederate flag, and any other symbols relevant to teaching in historical context. I bet even a Sheeple Trumpie supporter like you can understand the words I have written. Or, maybe not…
OK libturd I see where you are coming from…but you don’t hang the Confederate flag while teaching about the civil war….So much BS when libturds can’t use logic! A school expels students for wearing a MAGA shirt and you idiots are OK with it. Just can’t fix STUPID with you ignorant 3rd grade dropout EBT sucking libturds like you!!!! STFU moron!
If they teach any historical facts at all about the civil war and not just their libtard version then they should have the confederate and the union flags that so many brave souls died for.
History can not be whitewashed by destroying statues and flags’ that is indeed true fascism.
Yes, using the reason & theory that the libturd teacher gave. Neither one bothers me, but the ignorant libturds are using the nazi flag today to claim Trump is the same and I don’t like it. I served 15 years in Germany and they won’t allow the flag or cross anywhere as it is illegal. It is a bad time in their history, but still won’t be as bad as what the muslims will be turning them into soon.
Only idiots would call Trump a nazi. It’s the narrative of the left and ignorant muzrats that are blind to their history.

Well I assume being a WW2 history course, the often disputed “holocaust” was taught as a counterbalance, so as to explain the Swastika as a hate symbol? Even if it wasn’t, SO WHAT? @PamelaGeller seems to have a wee free expression dichotomy in her head, To Wit: Swastika=BAD whereas Mohamed Cartoons=GOOD. You can’t have it boths ways Pam, so enough Oy Veys and Kvetching.
Only those who refuse to see actual concrete history would refer to the murder of 6 million people, mostly jews , as “the often disputed ‘Holocaust’ “. Visit German concentration camps or a Holocaust museum. Or read a history book with real documentation. Swastika flags are symbols of raging hatred, period.
The Holocaust is the best documented atrocity in human history. The only people for whom it is disputed is those who have an ideological axe to grind.
You strike me as just another disingenuous Moslem. I can only wonder why your faith produces so many chronic liars. Could it have anything to do with Islam’s approval of taqiyya? Or perhaps that Allah himself was the “best of deceivers”? Just wondering.
There is extensive documentation of what WW II Supreme Allied
Commander General Dwight D. Eisenhower (later President of the
United States) and WW II U.S. General George S. Patton ( see
“Patton” winner of 1970 Academy Award for Best Picture) thought
and reported on their tours of Nazi concentration camps as the war
ended.
What they INDISPUTEDLY reported will be a testament to the truth
of German Nazi barbarism and cruelty against the Jews for all time.
We need more mohaMad cartoons’ they are so funny and the world needs a good laugh????????????????now and then.

Anyway you slice it is antisemitism. Ask Lindsey Pearson , it’s insensitive to Jewish Americans , and to the Americans who fought died for this country
I’m a Jew and I DO find it offensive! My uncle was murdered at Auschwitz in November 1942 !! The parents need to have a serious talk with the school board in that city! That is an ATROCITY!
I agree’ as long as the objective truth is told and the flag is not there to promote or glorify the Nazis. Non of us can afford to be too sensitive about history.
Those that forget history are condemned to repeat it.
It does not have to be displayed for 2 weeks. A large swastika in classroom only makes the point that gaetas uncle got the flag as a spoil of war. This symbol is in the their history books and other visual sources that teach about the holocaust. NO need to split hairs macabre, the nazi s certainly didn’t . They generalized and even if you had Jewish blood from a distant relative that they could trace , then you were considered a mongrel and needed to die. Yes I generalized and I find the swastika offensive for all of us who value freedom , and whom respect the USA. This teacher only wants to alienate Jewish students and other like minded that are against the Nazi flag. He is showing his power over the students. As if to say , look at what I can do. The swastika flag teaches nothing , it’s already in their books and tomes. You macabre , can split hairs all day , and live in that small safe space. But , we as Americans have to take a strong stand against outside forces I.e. bds movement, muzlims and libs like you.
You’re wrong! It’s been used as an instructional tool while teaching World War 2. If you’re offended, the world has no use for you at all.

I have been studying World War II for 50 years. I am by no means a scholar. It is an event in history that greatly interests me. The little boys and girls up to seniors in college have no idea what World War II was about much less the symbology. The reason I say this, as I am a cashier part time at a liquor store. A college is near by. I ask the kids about certain events if their B-days are close to that event. They cannot even answer Dec. 7, 1941 correctly. They can not answer whom we went to war with. June 6th 1944 they are lost. Who was President. This college is a small liberal arts school with the majority coming out of New England. I am in VA. Tuition is some $20,000 grand a year. So if these kids are irate over the “symbology” that his High School teacher then I say go for it. Teach the moment. Ask them why they are irate about it. Teach what happened and why it happened. Do not gloss over it. Back when Saving Private Ryan came out. Some veterans took a history class to see the movie. As they entered the theater they handed out ribbons. If I remember correctly it was 150 kids. (approximate rifle company size) The ribbons were 2 different colors. Red and White. At the beginning of he movie they had everyone stand up. Then they told the students with the red ribbons to sit down. The kids left standing had the white ribbons. They told the kids that the white ribbons represented who survived the beach assault. Some 25. Then they explained about Company A in Bedford VA some 40 miles down the road. The town of 5000 who lost 17 that morning. How the company ceased to exist in less than 15 minutes. My 17 year old neighbor Brent most likely still remembers that day. Now that is what I call a teaching moment.
My now long gone father was a soldier in the 2nd WW. His father too. My dad never mentioned anything about it, ever. His father (retired colonel) told me that daddy went through a couple tight spots. That was it for around 50 years.
Saving Pvt. Ryan came out in 1996 I think it was. I saw it in a theater. I called my dad and in the course of conversation, I mentioned the movie and that he ought to go see it as it was very realistic. Daddy said no he wasn’t going to see it. I asked why not. He said, “I was there”….long silence and the conversation went else where.
Several months before he passed away in 2002 he told me he was in the first wave of landing craft. Spent about a year in France, Belgium and Germany. A winter in the Ardennes Forest and a visit to Buchenwald in April ’45.
This is a photo of RMS Queen Mary docking in the Hudson River, Manhattan NYC June 20 1945. 15,000 GI’s aboard, my daddy among them. The first time he saw me. I was about 6 months old.
Let ’em fly their flag. They got the crap beat out of ’em. This is Dresden. Bombed with incendiary bombs on February 13 & 15th 1945! They had it coming for what they did to London!
Ace. Another story. My father was Merchant Tankers from the summer ff 41 thru 1959. Heard many tails about him and my two uncles who were also Merchants. I had a science teacher in the 10th grade who went across in the Quenn Mary. She ran so fast she ran by herself. The Brits would send out escort as she approach the UK. One destroyer cut in front of the Mary and she run her down. cut her clean in two. I read about this event later on the majority of the destroyer crew was lost. Now ya wonder if your father was aboard the Mary that trip. Your father and my Father and the rest need to be remembered We freed the world. Our history needs to be remembered. There is a movement here in VA to remove all the CW memorials and rename all the roads. In effect erase our Southern History. You can’t move forward with out history.
Hi Ho Dave., thanks for the reply. WE are working on our model contest categories. We will have a Special Category Best Battle of Britain subject. We are still in planning stages. The convention is in 2020. We have to get some sponsors. That’s for sure. I try to follow what is going on over there. However we have our hands full here. Gun show coming soon. I need to ammo up again…HAHHAahhaha
You people just make me sick with all your freedom to own guns! We still have our catapults here though and will defend them with our lives.
I’d love to be at that gun show Merch. I’d be like a kid in a toy shop or a vicar in a knocking shop more like!
You should read what Kurt Vonnegut said about Dresden. His entire regiment was captured at the Battle of the Bulge and he was sent to Dresden. His description of the Dresden fire-bombing is horrifying. I believe more people were incinerated at Dresden than either Hiroshima or Nagasaki.
Yes the Nazis attacked London with aircraft and later V1’s and V2’s but I don’t think as many people were killed in all those attacks than were killed in Dresden.
My dad wasn’t eligible for the military because he had flat feet. Over the years, I found the time to read about it. Arriving on those beaches and the casualty rate was off the charts. He saw such horror. That’s why many couldn’t talk about it when they came home.
My dad had a buddy that served. He never spoke about it either when he returned. As he got older, he reflected on his life. He lead a decent life but the war haunted more as he got older. He finally shoot himself in the head over it. Those suppressed memories got the better of him. He saw terrible things….
I have so much respect for men that went through that. I don’t think The Longest Day, completely shows the horror. You are so blessed your dad survived. I would bet he is in heaven now – away from evil. Thank you for posting about him and the pictures.
Totally agree, If a human face can be put on the lesson, kids are more likely to remember it.. This teacher should call on children of Holocaust survivors to relate the stories of their parents.. But then those kids will be in their 50’s and 60’s now.
The casualties incurred by Britain, the US and France were nothing in comparison to what the Russians suffered. Something like 450,000 Russians died invading Germany.
The Russian generals were very generous with the lives of the men they commanded and in turn Stalin was very profligate with the lives of his generals. Totalitarians of both sides dehumanised everybody in their pursuit of the objective.
“Generous”, LOL. I remember reading at some point in the war only half of Russia’s infantry even had firearms, the rest were expected to get firearms from their dead comrades in the field.
Stalingrad was particularly bad.
You totally misunderstand me.
I said generous with the lives of the men they commanded. Not with the equipment they handed out. It means that the generals would just throw their men into the maelstrom without a second thought for the soldiers lives they were wasting with mass attacks.
It takes a brave man to not be a hero in the Russian army!
A Russian soldier catches a golden fish, which says to him:
“Let me go and I’ll fulfill your every wish!”
The man answers:
“I want to become a Hero of the Soviet Union!”
He blinks… and finds himself in a field holding two grenades, facing five tanks…
It goes without saying that we are very lucky to have won the lottery of fate and not be born a Russian.
People born in the west don’t realise how lucky they are as even being born arussian is much better than being born a Somali or a paki or any other muzrat you could mention.
There’s news this morning that has made a lot of people very angry here in Britain. A few years ago three teenage muzrat schoolgirls aged 16 ran away to Syria to be jihadi brides and now the isis stronghold has been decimated recently and the rats are cornered and dying one of these bitches has crawled out of a hole heavily pregnant and saying she wants to come home but regrets nothing. The minister in charge has said if we let her back to the UK it’s going to be very unpopular. But it looks like they will still let the little bitch return. They have already allowed 400 returning jihadis back and now this. And the government that is allowing this calls themselves conservative. Bollocks! If they allow this final straw then it’s another nail in the conservative coffin and even more will be voting for UKIP.
The only truly patriotic party that has a hard line on these life or death issues. I’m absolutely fkn disgusted.
I’m with you! Students are not taught proper history today! Teach it all.
Many HATE our country and that is because they are selective in what they teach and how they teach it.
They are being taught that socialism or even communism wasn’t really so bad. Look at how popular Bernie was with millennials.
TEACH THESE PAMPERED, PROPAGANDA FILLED, EMPTY HEADED, SNOWFLAKES about HITLER AND MUSLIMS during WW2.
Makes you wonder what terrible deeds were done by these muzrat ss scumbags sitting smugly around that table. Each one would be a murderer with the blood of innocent civilians on their hands.
Where is the Stars and Stripes, the Red Ensign, the Union Jack, the Russian flag, Polish flag, etc?
If the teacher was sincere about representing countries in the war, he would have more than just one flag.
Not relevant to a WW2 discussion since Germany was the aggressor and instigator.

At first I wasn’t sure where I stood on this. It doesn’t sound like he is advocating Nazism After I thought about it some more, I want that historic memorabilia up the few weeks when he teaches WW2 history with ONE CONDITION. That condition is teaching them how MUSLIMS helped Hitler and still adore Hitler. It’s over due that students end this “safe space” mentality and are uncomfortable. Also have the class see Shindler’s List. Yes, there is nudity in it but it’s hardly erotic under those conditions. Bring it home how hideous Hitler was and “start a conversation” about why would MUSLIMS, today, adore Hitler. It’s time Muslims were on the offensive and more is exposed about Islam.
He’s been using that flag for more than a decade while teaching WW2. Never a complaint until now. The mom complaining is a snowflake.

Well if he really wants to get the message across that Nazi’s (and in association POTUS – after all he’s a leftie) are really evil. Why not saturate the class wall with pictures of the pits of dead skeletal Jews, and Pics of after they have opened up a gas chamber…And if it has the kids screaming for a safe space all the better.. THIS HAPPENED!!!

Fascism is not about jews or racism. It’s about total control over society. Some individuals are like “useful, important cells” in such organism and some are “simple cells” that can easily be gotten rid of if there’s no need in them or they are deemed to be malicious as in case with jews.

Even though it is disgusting I am not sure the kids really know what it symbolizes. They are not being educated in our public schools, and unless they are taught at home what this means they have no way of really knowing. I am not sure about that. I would like to have someone go to that class and ask the kids what that stands for.

Hitler viewed the unjust Muhammadism as ultimate Nazi religion that as he told his architect & minister of war Albert Speer matches the German temperament better & many Nazi criminals openly converted to the unjust Muhammadism after the war & worked in the Egyptian Muhammadist tyranny under Nasser & in Syria.
Example: German Leopold Gleim, head of the Gestapo in Germany-occupied Poland changed his name to Ali al-Nahar & worked for Nasser after the war.
I pray the lessons emphacized how the Nazi’s nearly drove a stake through the soul of Western Christian Civilization in a paroxysm of savagery whose scars have not healed in 75 years.
There is NO way that flag should be hanging in that classroom. Do they know what that idiot Hitler done to Europe???
Tried to commit genocide on Jews and races he deemed unfit to live. Caused the destruction of hundreds of millions in damage to private property and brought untold suffering and death to millions of humans.
In the end the humiliation, defeat and rape of Germans. All the leaders fled like rats. Their leader committed suicide.
Muslims are doing the same thing today. Why not teach how Muslims helped Hitler.
That is not being taught. Why not? Offending Muslims doesn’t bother me. Muslims are the NEW NAZIS of today!
That is why we should REQUIRE that link be taught! It is NOT in Common Core History books that California uses.
Muslims are the NEW NAZIS and these kids have no clue.
They are taught Islam is wonderful and their just more “religious” than other religions.
If I was a parent out there, I’d leverage the hell out of this to make sure students knew how Muslims
LOVE Hitler today and how they helped Hitler. Kids know nothing about this.

Where is the Japanese flag? The flag of the Red Rising Sun which Japan had
flown for more than three-hundred years before she attacked America.
The lesson on WW II in that teacher’s classroom “lasts for two weeks”. Does
he teach about the Japanese enemy during that time – or only about the Nazis?
It seems to me that this flag-happy teacher should be more inclined to hang
the flag of the country that attacked us and started WW II – rather than hang the
flag of the country (Germany) who later declared war on us. And besides the
hundreds of thousands of American military who were killed in combat with
the Japanese – the Japs were big on war crime atrocities of their own. The
Bataan Death March and sadistic Rape of Nanking among others come to mind.
Greta says a relative who served in WW II gave him the flag. But the other
teacher is right – take it out, pass it around for the kids to look at but don’t
give it the deference and respect of hoisting it on display for two solid weeks.
Because if he doesn’t display the Japanese flag too – that is exactly what he
is doing: honoring the flag of the Nazi death camps and of our enemy.
Bottom line – no flag should ever be hung in an American classroom except for
our own.
In Common Core history, that California teaches,, the Rape of Nanking is not taught. What is taught is how EVIL the U.S. is for using an atomic bomb. Don’t hide it! Don’t let kids hide from history! Put a Japanese flag up too! It is presented that U.S. was EVIL for using that. Nine out of ten WW2 people would not agree we were evil using it. It saved the lives of OUR MILITARY. Japan had no intention of surrendering and this forced them to surrender. Like Islam they had kamikaze pilots and they were brutal. They raped women to “spoil them” and ideally get them pregnant. Some were used as sex slaves for Japanese troops – “comfort women”. TEACH IT! Don’t hide it. They don’t teach any of that in Common Core. Islam uses women as sex slaves, privately and for Jihadis. There is a parallel. The west is stupid. Conquering third world types always rape women. They want to leave a lasting mark. They’d throw babies up in the air and pirerce the with a bayonet – teach it!
What is also taught in Common Core history is how EVIL Christians are. For example, Ann Hutchinson was expelled from the Mass. Bay Colony because she had a different interpretation of Christianity. Part of Common Core requires them to write an essay on how intolerant Christianity a large is.
I see this as a golden opportunity today to teach kids about the NEW NAZIS – MUSLIMS!
Require kids be taught how Hitler and Nazis worked together in WW2 and how Muslims today adore Hitler. I guarantee you these kids and many adults don’t know about that. Kids are taught how wonderful Islam is! For me it is not about a flag but an opportunity to EDUCATE kids on ISLAM. Muslims are the NEW NAZIS! This teacher has been doing this for years. He claims it was from a WW2 soldier who fought against NAZIS. Let them view Shindler’s List too. Let’s not protect them from the truth. Make these kids uncomfortable. Start discouraging “safe spaces” by hiding history or something else from them.
chip away at political correctness.
Note that in California, when they graduate they wave the MEXICAN flag and don’t have to learn English. They can now graduate “bilingual”. Use opportunities to highlight how EVIL ISLAM IS yesterday and today! We have to do this.
This postcard, copyright 1907 by E. Phillips, a U.S. card publisher, speaks for the universally high regard in which the swastika was held as a good luck token before use by the Nazis corrupted its meaning.
Thanks to the Globalist-Communists who are behind Common Core –
Hitler will have to return from Hell first before the truth about Islam
is taught in American schools. Kids are not only taught that America
is imperialistic and evil but also that the White race in particular is
racist and privileged.
The Swastika is an ancient European symbol. The last Czarina of
Russia, Alexandra – who along with the Czar and their children was
murdered at the end of World War One – was the former Princess
Alix of Hesse-Darmstadt in Germany. Czar Nicholas built her a
beautiful Russian chapel in Hesse-Darmstadt in her honor. When
it was newly built and dedicated, Empress Alexandra carved a
swastika on the altar floor with her own hand – as a symbol of
good fortune.. The chapel is open to tourists and I was able to
see it – as well as the future Nazi symbol, carved approximately forty
years before Hitler ever came to power.

clearly we in the west learned NOTHING from WWII! All the lives lost FIGHTING FOR WE INGRATES is just plain sad.
Perhaps we do deserve to be violently overthrown and wiped off the map!
Absolutely DESPICABLE!
The biggest and perhaps last war is upon us yet we aren’t smart enough to see it much less prepare and fight back.
God help your children who didn’t ask to be born into this!

Now I can see a lot of students thinking it’s ok to wear it on shirts anywhere in public. Around the school, at the mall, etc, and if someone get’s offended with it, they can say…well my teacher hung it up in my classroom, so it’s ok, right?

“Um excuse me, they wouldn’t put up a poster of two people engaging in sex in health class!” Sure they would. Why not, after all, it’s natural. while they’re at it, they’ll put up posters of homosexual sex, transgender affirmation, promote abortion, why is a nazi flag off limits? They have no morals, they’re the public school system.

Does it matter if I am offended by the swastika display! The teacher should be reeducated.
Does it matter that there is such a vile attack on our Civil War monuments?
I believe that it is islam that is driving the affronts on America
“It is the purpose of Islam to destroy all art because it is Jahiliyyah” explains Dr. Bll Warner. The attacker intended to damage or destroy some of the priceless works of art that are exhibited in the most renowned art museum in the world. His intent was to destroy the finest art of Western civilization.
Why art? Art that involves animals or humans is forbidden in the Sharia. Art is the work of Kafirs and is part of jahiliyya (civilization of ignorance). Islam annihilates a civilization piece by piece and leaves nothing of its native roots. Civilizational jihad destroys the very cultural history of every nation it comes into contact with.
We see the jihadist annihilation of museums and ancient architecture for the same reason. This civilizational war has been this way for 1400 years.
Muslims have their six lies that are tenets of Islam, It is perfectly reasonably not to trust Muslims based on the fact that lying is categorized for Muslim’s convenience.
• Taqiyya (Shia) or Muda’rat (Sunni): tactical deceit for the purposes of spreading Islam.
• Kitman: deceit by omission.
• Tawriya: deceit by ambiguity.
• Taysir: deceit through facilitation
(not having to observe all the tenets of Sharia).
• Darura: deceit through necessity (to engage in something “Haram” or forbidden).
• Muruna: the temporary suspension of Sharia in order that Muslim immigrants appear “moderate”.

Its an artifact, folks, in no way is it presented to promote antisemitism, fascism or any political agenda. It is something real that brings the war to life. Save your energy for the enemy.
Doesn’t sound much different than “Burn that book …..Hang the Jew!”
“Where flags are burned, in the end, people will also be burned.” “Mob
lynching is not fascism when we do it!”? Anders Breivik believes also to
this day that it was a “necessary revolutionary act” to kill 70 teenagers.
He who talks like this will never change the world, he doesn’t want
to change it at all. But continues as before, only under a different
pretext (today called label). In truth, he has learned nothing at all!
If it would be Israeli flag, they would burn the school by now and FBI would be still investigating the cause.

Kind of a stupid move at symbolism, as the Swastika is a symbol of luck in some eastern cultures, I’ve seen it on native beadwork from the Mayan and plains natives. I get he’s trying to make a point but he’s better off talking about how socialism and what the National Socialism Party stood for
