Graham vows investigation into McCabe comments about DoJ discussions to remove Trump

22

It’s as I always said. Regular GR readers have long known this. It is high treason. And while this is uncharted territory, these traitorous criminals must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Those of us accused of hyperbole and exaggeration concerning the left’s civil war seem cannot be accused of underestimating just how deep the coup to overthrow the Republic actually goes.

“Graham: McCabe revelations ‘beyond stunning,'” by Brett Samuels, The Hill, February 17, 2019:

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday pledged to thoroughly investigate comments from Andrew McCabe after the former FBI deputy director told “60 Minutes” that Justice Department officials discussed a plan to potentially remove President Trump from office.

Story continues below advertisement

“We’re going to find out what happened here and the only way I know to find out is to call the people in under oath and find out, through questioning, who’s telling the truth because the underlying accusation is beyond stunning,” Graham said on “Face the Nation.”

Graham, the chairman the of the Senate Judiciary Committee, reiterated that he intends to subpoena McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to testify before the panel if they won’t agree to do so voluntarily.

The senator downplayed the notion that an investigation into the FBI will further damage the bureau’s credibility.

“There is no organization beyond scrutiny,” he said. “There is no organization that can’t withstand scrutiny. And the FBI will come out stronger.”

“But we’ve got to get to the bottom of it,” he continued. “What are people to think after they watch ’60 Minutes’ when they hear this accusation by the acting deputy — acting FBI director that the deputy attorney general encouraged him to try to find ways to count votes to replace the president? That can’t go unaddressed.”…

It’s called treason, Lindsey.
None of these people should be free or on book tours trying to justify what they did.

Muhammadist propaganda must be prosecuted.
Many atheists are tortured in Muhammadist tyrannies & Africans are today enslaved, castrated, divorced, beaten & killed in Saudi Arabia & enslaved in the UAE, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, Iraq, North-Sudan, Libya (surge), Algeria (surge), Mauritania (20 percent), Niger, Mali, Somalia, Nigeria in emulation of unjust Muhammad who started the global African slave-trade by saying his unproven deity had turned Africans black so Africans’ descendants would be slaves to Arabs & Turks (see Wikiislam).

Lindsey, what’s going on with you? Double check me. I thought I heard him say THIS in the interview:

“The whole point of Congress existing is to provide over-site over the Executive Branch”….

A blatant lie by Lindsay Graham?
He clearly needs remedial training in the US Constitution and the Separation of Powers!
Congress has only over-site regarding Departments they (Congress), created that are part of the Executive Branch (i.e. FBI, CIA, etc).

Congress does NOT have oversight of the Executive Branch!

Does he think Congress is like City Council members over the City Manager…or is he setting Trump up?
There is something odd about Lindsey. Prior to McShame’s death he was very anti-Trump. Now he often appears reasonable. I’m not sure if he is trustworthy or not and statements like that don’t help.

i think when mccain was “put to death”, as john kasich so bluntly said on national tv, it may have gotten lindsey boy’s attention. i’ve never once heard kasich or anyone in the media retract or comment on that bizarre statement, so i’m assuming he was just putting the message out on behalf of his new master

I often wonder if McShame had something on him. If Lindsey is a homosexual, he is from a generation where they stayed in the closet. He is not married, never seen dating or with a woman other than his sister. Frankly I don’t care if he is. As long as he doesn’t flaunt it or force you to embrace it, I don’t care. I think he may want to run for President in 2024. He would be a better candidate than a wimp like Pence who is an old establishment guy.

If Trump gets a second term, Pence wouldn’t have a chance of winning in 2024. Pence is a coward. Remember when Pence back tracked on the religious freedom bill when LBGT objected to it? The point of the bill was to protect Christians from being under the hammer of the LBGT agenda. He’s a “Christian” when it is convenient.

Indiana Gov. Pence backtracks on religious freedom bill as backlash continues
By Dustin Siggons
4/1/15
..
According to The Indianapolis Star, Pence explained in a press conference this morning that “we’ve got a perception problem” about the RFRA, and that he wanted to amend the existing law to clarify that businesses do not have the right to deny services. Pence said that he wants such legislation on his desk by the end of the week.(That is exactly what LBGT wants.)
..
Princeton University Professor Robert George was sharply critical of Pence’s handling of the controversy. He wrote on Facebook Tuesday that the governor’s “pathetic performance over the past few days in defending a perfectly reasonable religious liberty law reveals that he lacks competence, courage, principle, or perhaps all three.”

“As for the hypocrisy, duplicity, and bad faith of the law’s critics, well, it’s par for the course for them, I suppose,” Prof. George added.

Pence has no courage. Remember when Trump had the “locker room” tape issue? Pence was no where to be found. I wouldn’t expect him to defend the comments, , but seriously women are like that. Trump never raped anyone. It was just talk. I have heard far worse “talk” than that. Weinstein acted on it. The only one that came out to do the talk shows was Rudy who is still with Trump, trying to help him navigate this farce of an investigation – pro bono no less. Rudy didn’t exactly defend it but tried to calm down the fake uproar over it. Rudy knows Trump isn’t a rapist like Clinton and it was just “locker room talk.”

I would NEVER want Pence as President. It’s too bad people are so impressed with smooth polished talking politicians who will cave so easily.

pence is a lifetime politician who managed to get elected governor of a state that is half blue and half red, and you don’t get elected in that setting by having any strong political beliefs…you stay right in the middle. he’s as much a swamper as everyone else in DC

I remember well when Mike Pence was Governor of Indiana, and was disappointed in the way he dealt with LGBT. But Trump, himself with a questionable background, had a reason for appointing Pence as his running mate.

Do not be too rough on Pence. People’s characters and other things can change over the years. When I was a senior at a Catholic high school in 1962, I was in a speech class. During my first speech, the instructor saw me turn white as a sheet; he observed that I quaking and almost passed out. But no one knew, including myself, that, twenty years later, I would play the solo violin in a crowded theater to benefit the United Way. The Lord had taken away my spirit of fear, and replaced it with power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

In 2016, I voted for another candidate in the primaries. By the time Trump emerged as the presidential candidate, I was determined to vote for him, knowing that he was a man of his word. Am persuaded that G-d had anointed Trump to grant America a reprieve.

Why Lindsay is putting on the big boy pants is puzzling, where up until now he has been very unreliable.

A. He’s cut a deal to escape the swamp with little consequences while dealing a fatal blow to the Dems.
B. This posturing is a bigger plan by the swamp rats to re-image themselves and go back to their corrupt ways.
C. He is planning bigger things and is swinging behind the Trump train in the hope of derailing it later on as ‘loyal opposition’.
D. all of the above.

Lindsey Graham? Give me a break. Since when has he ever been serious about Trump’s administration protection and upholding his (Graham) vow to protect the Constitution of these United States of America? He is a RINO folks.
He’s fake news.

Sure, put them under oath, I’m sure they will tell the truth. These people think they are untouchable, and so far that seems to be true. Go get them, Sen. Graham!
Worried about damaging the reputation of the FBI? Too late.! The lower ranks of the FBI are outraged by all this corruption from their higher ups. If they rock the boat, there goes their career.

People talk about another “investigation” I think we have paid out enough on the one that has been going on for the last 2+ years with no results. No more “special” investigations at the expense of the tax payers. As you said, nothing gets done. they don’t even stick to the original part of the investigation….just look for whatever they can find.
