Yet they still threaten to kill him, which is further proof that submission and accommodation to Islam is perceived as weakness and gives way to more demands, more conquest, more attacks in the cause of Islam.
This Pope is a disgrace. He is selling out his people, condemning them to futures of unimaginable misery.

Panama City, Panama (CNN)Pope Francis has taken another shot at wall-building politicians, telling thousands of Catholics in Panama gathered for World Youth Day that “builders of walls sow fear” and “divide people.”
“We know that the father of lies, the devil, prefers a community divided and bickering,” Francis told a crowd of tens of thousands of youth Thursday night at a seaside park in Panama City.“This is the criteria to divide people: The builders of bridges and the builders of walls, those builders of walls sow fear and look to divide people. What do you want to be?”
When the crowd replied “builders of bridges,” Francis replied, “You learned well. I like that.”
The Pope’s remarks seemed to be a clear reference to President Donald Trump’s proposal to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. Trump’s demand for $5.7 billion for the wall has led to a partial government shutdown for 34 days and counting.
On Wednesday, after Trump tweeted a new slogan, “Build a wall and crime will fall,” a journalist on the papal plane asked Pope Francis about Trump’s proposal. The Pope said such measures are driven by fear. “It is the fear that makes us crazy.”
It wasn’t the first time Trump and Francis have tussled over the proposed border wall.
“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,” Francis said in 2016. “This is not the gospel.”
Trump immediately fired back, calling Francis’ comments “disgraceful.”…

I wonder if Pope Frances has pondered the meaning of his public position regarding the twin issues of mass unwanted third world immigration into western Europe and the linked issue of European peoples personal security ?

Well anytime he chooses the obvious option to leave his residence behind the walls of the Vatican city and castle St Angelo and live among his “flock” in the Islamic and African slums springing up all across our towns and cities I will not stand in his way. Let me begin this letter by stating that I support your concept of building a barrier at our
southwestern borders for all the reasons that you gave in your most recent
speech to the public.
Notwithstanding the accuracy and propriety that you outlined in your speech, I am mortified when I
watch the democrats, liberals and the media falsely present commentary that
suggests that building a barrier is an act of racism/bigotry. Since I believe
that you are no more racist than Martin Luther King or Abraham Lincoln, or me, and
I am mortified with those accusations, I believe that you should challenge that
concept affirmatively, including within your SOTHU speech.
You need to point out to the public that if one is to be accused of racism/bigotry and promotion of
violence, one need only look at the commentary and actions of people like Louis
Farrakhan, Linda Sarsour, and some of those newly elected reps that spew
malicious, false and unjustified hatred at other groups here and world-wide.
Recently, the wearing of a MAGA hat was falsely presented as racist and bigoted, and the media played
it up, having its diverse group of commentators refer to the hat as evidence of
racial bias. I do not believe that you and your staff should sit idly by and
not turn the tables on these commentators by pointing out that their false
accusations is, in fact, evidence of their own real bias and racism.
Clearly, wearing a MAGA hat is nothing more than one’s expression of support for America, and
these false claims need to be opposed with vigor. I, for one, constantly make
those same points to anyone who will listen, but, you and your staff are in a
much better position to accurately point out the fallacy in that nonsense.

What a well written letter. I hope President Trump gets to read it and takes your advise. This President has not been given one ounce of credit for anything he has done even though there is all kinds of evidence that he is doing a great job. He has taken more crap than any other President in my lifetime. The Democrats and even some Republicans just can’t stand that some outsider came in and shook things up! He’s keeping his campaign promises the best he can with constant pressure that at anytime they will start the impeachment process even though they are “trumped” up charges. No pun intended! He didn’t need this job and their BS. He did it because he loves this country and it’s citizens and I thank God everyday that he did.

Good post; yes, our President is a Patriot and loves the Republic; unfortunately, the Democrats and RINOS come up short when it comes to the Republic and Constitution. The Democrats deem the latter as a waste and should be recycled or worse. As mentioned, Trump unhinged the status quo, the political establishment and they are far from amused. If or when the Democrats regain power by hook or by crook, I don’t want to predict the consequences.

He says one thing, like he won’t have anymore muslims coming into this country, but then he puts a cap of 30,000 of “them”, to come into this country, for this year! I don’t like it when he does or says something, but then turns around and does or says the opposite, like saying he’s a christian, but then says he’s “never done anything to be forgiven for”. If he knew the bible, he’d know that we are ALL sinners, and he’s not as perfect as he thinks he is! And for him to say he’s a christian, but then he celebrates another people’s “god”, is REALLY what upsets me, and I’m sure our Lord isn’t too happy with that either!
As for the wall building, I think it’s somewhat of a waste, when we have our northern border wide open for any of those thousands of certain “people” to just walk right in, and then there’s the east and west coasts too, that are wide open. I don’t understand getting the whole country and our government in an uproar, when it’s only one side of our country. But then I don’t want our language to change to being only Spanish either!

Joan – the “border” situation is different in Canada – they actually have border guards all along it and border “stations” manned by officials. The east and west coasts, on the Atlantic and Pacific oceans
are also guarded pretty closely I think. But our southern border is a different matter. It’s essential that
we get the wall up – the sooner the better. A HUGE problem is the human trafficking. The heroin, cocaine, and other serious chemical drugs – they’re not pharmaceutical grade either, but cooked up by the drug dealers. Dangerous – the death toll from these drugs is escalating – and widespread addiction. Then there’s the MS-13 gangs – absolute KILLERS – and they don’t just stay in Texas – they spread out all over the country.
And of course, the prostitution rings – these poor women’s lives are destroyed – they can do NOTHING.
I think Pilosi may have overstepped the mark. $1.00 for the wall! That’s how much SHE cares.

Agreed. It bears mentioning that during WWII, the FDR administration sought to blunt Nazi influence and presence in the Western hemisphere by uniting all Central and South American nations under the Good Neighbor Policy. All signed on with the exception of Argentina, the Pope’s home country.

When on tour, the brave Pope travels in a bulletproof popemobile that would require a rocket propelled grenade to pierce it. He proclaims his faith in God, but there are times when it is a practical to place a little extra faith in modern military technology. Apparently, Francis does not recognize the similarity between a wall and the popemobile, basically a protective barrier between himself and the heathens.

The Pope is of course quite right. Walls are divisive and sow fear. They divide a nation from another one and protect both parties. They are also create a fear in those who want to scale them that the people on the other side mean business and will not hesitate to send them back where they came from. But, perhaps, I am relying too much on Christian charity and the Pope didn’t mean what I thought he meant. Oh, dear, another fallen idol.

I don’t believe he has done adequate justice to the issue of child abuse in the Catholic Church.
I think attention to that issue is long overdue.
Perhaps he should focus on that pressing concern.

Oh but they are focusing on it. In Pa. there is a statue of limitations on preventing a rape case against the Catholic Church. People want that removed and the Catholic Church wants the limitation in place to avoid paying out money. Payouts are bankrupting them. The numbers of victims are staggering.
Money will not make victims whole but would serve as a good punishment for HIDING these monsters and moving them onto other parishes to molest other kids.

Depends how you view it. Is he a socialist – probably. Is he subverting Christianity for the globalist agenda – kinda of and definitely – meaning that the RCC subverted Christianity hundreds of years ago, but this Pope takes it to a new level. And absolutely he is in bed with the globalists and their entire agenda.
But, and it’s a big but, if you were to ask God if He wanted him removed from office, He would very likely say no.
I do not mean to imply that this would mean that God likes what Francis is saying and doing – in fact just the opposite would be true. I believe God is disgusted with the actions and utterances out of the Vatican and has been so for a very long time. However, there is a very big picture running in the background that trumps all the daily events not just out of Rome but everywhere.
Francis and the Vatican (the RCC) factor significantly in end time prophecy. I believe the harlot riding the scarlet beast of Rev.17 is a direct reference to the RCC, and there are plenty of current events affiliated with her to support that contention. I further believe that Rev.18 and much of 19, is also a direct reference to the RCC, and depicts the depth of God’s anger against it. A lost world holds the Pope and the RCC in high regard ; its’ history of distortion and corruption, and its’ past persecution and murder of true believers, are sins of grave significance. Judgement is coming for her, and her followers should heed God’s word and come out of her while they can.
The “big picture” running in the background ? You’ve likely guessed it already, it is the abundantly clear, numerous signs and fulfilling prophecy happening with exponential swiftness all around us ; this age/dispensation is screaming towards its’ end. Just as a juggernaut cannot be stopped once it is set in motion, so it is the same now with God’s righteous judgement coming on us all. There is only one way to be prepared, get right with God through Christ ; His return is imminent.

I think you’re a good person. The danger is always when we become dogmatic.
I’m sceptical about any breast tone of conviction. Above all, supposedly “selfless”
idealists, who expect nothing more than salvation roars from millions, arouse my
mistrust. Ultimately, we do everything for ourselves; anyone who claims otherwise
is a liar. Even “Mother” Teresa helped others because it made her feel better. It is
more honest to say that I do it because I am an egoist than to force others to thank
me with blackmailing benefits. It is not the ego that opens the door to evil, it is the
abdication of the ego. Selfishness is narcissism, which can be clearly distinguished
from healthy self-assertion. Self-respect comes before foreign consideration. Then
you live in the realm of self-determination, not of heteronomy. We must learn to say
no without feeling guilty, and instead of making foreign judgements our own, we must
make our own judgements. But it is better not to pass judgement at all anymore, then
one is on the way to inner enlightenment and serenity.

I am against realitivism and egalitarianism as against elitism. There must be
a clear distinction between good and evil. But there are also shades of grey.
An example: is a lie something bad? it depends on the context. If I hid a Jew
in the Nazi empire and lie to the SS, I’m not a bad person. I am against the lie,
but for the white lie, the small lie in the service of the greater truth. Do we
always want to know the truth? How many marriages are shattered because
the adulterers could not keep their mouths shut after they did a transgression.

I don’t know….in 2018 we estimate our population being 326,766,748.
On top of that MIT came out with an estimate of our illegal population being about 40 million. Abortion and selling baby parts is the cash cow for Planned Parenthood. There is also incentive to get pregnant, terminate it and sell what they can of it. Its absolutely horrendous what is going on even if the numbers are lower.

Especially when you add that up over the decades. Earlier I was talking about the victims dying in the womb today. I must add that the soldiers who died young in the war at that time were at least able to produce many children beforehand. Of course aborted fetuses cannot do that. In this respect the damage is horrendous.
I had already referred to the German documentary “Frozen Angels”. Frightening what’s coming over from the west coast of America to us. Bad enough that the inventors of the contraceptive pill were Jewish (Pincus, Djerassi). But also the operators of these “gene institutes” are Jewish (Bill Handel, Cappy Rothman).
