Story continues below advertisementTrump has just sent Nancy Pelosi a letter postponing her trip to Egypt, Afghanistan and Brussels due to the government shutdown. LOL!
Here’s the letter:
The letter was just tweeted by Sarah Sanders.
He also tells Pelosi that it would be better for her if she remain in Washington during the shutdown to negotiate with him for Strong Border Security.
This is obviously in response to Pelosi’s letter to Trump about postponing his SOTU address.

She was expecting to party on, undercut Trump on foreign policy on your dime.
I think Trump should hold the SOTU in the oval office with some videos of Nancy and Chuckie giving approval for the wall with more money that Trump is demanding now and their quotes on illegal immigration that is the complete opposite of what they are allowing now. Make no mistake about this, it is war.

Agreed. My solution is simple. Since Pelosi, as House Speaker, wants to cancel Trump’s invitation to speak before Congress he could easily move the SOTU address to a public venue. He could provide preferred seating for members of Congress (535 seats) and sell tickets for the remaining seats to donate to the RNC. It would be an historic event.

I like the way this President does things. She wanted to take this trip using an Air Force transport at taxpayers expense during this partial government shutdown. She also wants our President to delay the State of the Union Speech. President Trump stands up to these Congress Persons. He is completely right to cancel and delay this planned trip of hers.

Trump just cancelled the bus ride to Andrews and made them get off at the Capital. No fun and games on our tax payer money while the border is wide open and part of the government shut down. These Dems do not care about us at all.
