Trump administration tries to slow Israel’s surging relations with China

33

Israel-China relations are surging. Trade between the two countries is closing in on $15 billion annually. When their long awaited free-trade agreement is signed, this number is expected to more than double. China has no interest in the boycott-the-Jews BDS movement, because they want Israeli tech in a big way. They want to build Israeli infrastructure as well, as party of their Belt and Road Initiative.

The Trump administration has taken notice. The Israel-China relationship is beginning to conflict with Israel’s relationship with the United States. The Trump administration wants Israel to decelerate (to an extent) its relations with China. Israel will likely fulfill this request, since President Trump is such a friend and ally. The Israelis would do the same for any future Republican President as well.

However, what will happen if the anti-America, anti-Semitic, and pro-BDS Democrats take power in the future? How could an Israel-hating Democrat President, who supports the BDS movement, ask Israel to decelerate their relationship with China or anyone else? The U.S-Israel relationship could become very interesting and very different under the next Democrat President.

From your link…

Relations between the Trump administration and Israel have been very close, particularly on defense issues. But the sale of the jets to Croatia appears to be one of the rare disagreements between the two countries. They were not overcome even after a meeting between US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu two weeks ago in Brazil.

A senior Israeli official told Channel 10 that Israel “received almost everything it wanted” during the meeting with Pompeo — except approval to sell the upgraded planes.

Last month, the TV news station reported that the Trump administration was angry with Israel for including the advanced electronic systems in an effort to secure the Croatian tender.

Israeli officials told the network that the US believed Israel would unfairly profit from the sale of the American-made fighter jets.

I can not speak for other Presidents but Trump certainly is.
No one else had the balls to move their embassy to Jerusalem and recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Obama positively hated Israel.

I’ve just read the article.
There were many atrocities mentioned in it that I was aware of, but many more that I had no idea had ever happened.
Reading it has made me sick and shaken and furiously angry.
If even a quarter of what is in it is the truth, and that is something I want to look into more deeply, than the only conclusion I can draw is that ‘no, the US has not been an ally of Israel’. I’d also have to say, that Israel does not have a true friend or ally anywhere in the world.

Oh I agree. Never ever trust a Muslim.
Friends one day and enemies the next day.
They are only united now with a common enemy – Iran and competing flavors of Islam.
You just can’t win with these people…

Obama’s antisemitici policies had bad results for America. Antisemites say that Israel is selling to China plans for the f 35. If only that were true. Israel is actually selling China the plans for their superior Lavie jet fighter instead of the problem ridden f 35/ Antisemite Casper Weinberger wouldn’t help Israel build the Lavie and Obama set Israel on the search for new partners — namely India and China in this case.

Why is Israel selling China the plans for their superior Lavie jet fighter and not the problem ridden f35 jet? This is not in America’s interest.

The U.S. didn’t want Israel’s Lavie fighter because it was made by joos. The Obama administration was antisemitic, committing the most antisemitic act of 2016. I see no reason why Israel should not have sold plans for its fighter to China. Incidentally, everyone, including myself who voted for Trump, thought that Hillary would be our next President. Hillary is a nasty,, antisemitic woman. Besides, Israel and the U.S. are sovereign nations with, perhaps, somewhat different interests. I am in great sympathy with Pres. Trump’s decision to withdraw from Syria. Are we really sure where the gas came from? I think Israel wanted the U.S. to stay in Syria.

Where is your evidence on the Lavie? You provided no third party article that’s credible. Now, as for Israel and Syria, I do believe Israel wanted the USA to stay as Turkey could very well invade.

Please stay away from the Chinese. They are nothing but ucfking cheats and copycats. You only have to remember one thing about the Chinese. The Chinese are only for the Chinese.

As long as they have communist ruling them they are worthless as their cheap flashlights which I recommend you NEVER buy.

You are right. The only reason to be in Israel is to STEAL their technology and SPY on American bases. They are not there for you to enjoy Chinese takeout.

Trump’s unethical policies of supporting global Muhammadist social media like Facebook & partly Saudi owned Twitter, his scolding of Pamela Geller & selling of weapons to Saudi Arabia* & new Muhammadist Nigeria (where Africans are killed by government-backed Muhammadists) keep the public dumb & are a threat to the political climate which leads to a Muhammadization of the world & as a refleftion also of the government.
China could develop to be a crucial partner.
China internally seems to ban the incitement to the unjust Muhammad-law, war & tyranny.
But in UN votes it sided with Muhammadists.
What is important is that China repairs the environment & implements ecological best quality basics cultivation & automization & makes work voluntary not forced.
We need a global government that protects the ethical values of truth, justice, love, American English, friendliness, ecology, human rights, global imperialism, freedom from religion & to atheism, healthy food (see DrAxe.com), cultivation of ecological best quality basics, support for self-realisation & the outlawing of incitement to the unjust Muhammad-law, war & tyranny globally.
*Saudi Arabia tortures & kills atheists, clitodirectomizes & rapes girls. Africans are enslaved, castrated, divorced, beaten & killed today in Saudi Arabia & enslaved in the UAE, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, North-Sudan, Libya (surge), Algeria (surge), Mauritania (20 percent), Niger, Mali, Somalia, Nigeria in emulation of unjust Muhammad who started the global African slave-trade by saying his unproven deity had turned Africans black so Africans’ descendants would be slaves to Arabs & Turks.

If Israel’s leaders are foolish enough to make covenants, treaties, or trade deals with a communist super power, they will get what they deserve. You cannot walk with God while holding hands with the devil. Look where similar acts by Washington fools have gotten the U.S..

Wait, what?!? Maybe Israel is enhancing their relationship with China because they are seeing how unreliable and demanding an ally the US can be — Trump included. And if Trump is now trying to tell Israel what to do, whom they can associate with, like a controlling bully abusive husband, is anybody surprised? This site’s argument that the winds of politics may change direction in the Oval Office every few years is EXACTLY the reason Israel is looking for a steady trading partner and supporter with a long-term view of things — like China.

The PRC indirectly enabled the muslum genocide of some 2.5 million Hindus in the Bangladesh in the 1970’s because when India invaded Bangladesh to stop the genocide the PRC threatened directly military intervention unless India withdrew it’s military forces. But maybe the genocide of Hindus didn’t bother you at all? It certainly didn’t bother anyone else in the rotten, corrupt, dying atheist West.

Michael Jacobs

I’m no fan of the PRC, or of communism or central-government-controlled economies in general. But I do find it both hypocritical and overreaching that the current US administration would try to put the kibbosh on Israel establishing closer economic ties with the PRC, while the US has basically sold its soul to the PRC by having the PRC manufacture most of our products and having the PRC in turn invest heavily in US debt securities, equity securities, and real estate. In other words, we are POWNED by the PRC. Okay, maybe Trump was trying to warn Israel against doing the same thing. If so, as usual, he said it pretty clumsily. And in any event, Israel is a grown-up, independent country which can make up its OWN mind about who it wants to do business with.

And if we want Israel to trust us more than they trust China, it wouldn’t hurt the US to start taking the “long view” on its economic policy AND its foreign relations, in contrast to the current whipsaw that occurs every 4 or 8 years. Just saying.
