This is long overdue. The “work” of the hate group SPLC is to smear, defame and libel anyone who effectively counters the hard-left/Islamic agenda. Veterans, tea party patriots, counter terror activists, even Presidential candidates on the right have been the target of their smear campaigns. They wield enormous power in the information battle space — media, movies, academia, etc.
The subversives and seditionists are very much in control of the mainstream narrative. It’s our elected officials who must take the necessary steps to reverse the coup.

“Southern Poverty Law Center Slapped with Racketeering Suit Over ‘False Hate Group Designation,’” by Matt Naham, Law & Crime, January 16, 2019:
The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) has filed a lawsuit against the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), claiming that SPLC operators Richard Cohen and Heidi Beirich have violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) by “falsely designating CIS as a hate group.”
CIS describes itself as “an independent, non-partisan, non-profit, research organization” that “pursue[s[ a single mission – providing immigration policymakers, the academic community, news media, and concerned citizens with reliable information about the social, economic, environmental, security, and fiscal consequences of legal and illegal immigration into the United States.”
The SPLC, on the other hand, describes itself on its website as “dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.”
If you go to the SPLC website, the CIS mission is presented as being the “go-to think tank for the anti-immigrant movement” and racism:
The Center for Immigration Studies, like the rest of the organized anti-immigrant movement we see in America today, was founded by John Tanton, a Michigan ophthalmologist turned population control alarmist whose racist beliefs stirred him to create a network of organizations with a simple agenda: heavily restricting the immigration levels to the United States in order to maintain a white majority. As Tanton himself wrote in 1993, “I’ve come to the point of view that for European-American society and culture to persist requires a European-American majority, and a clear one at that.”
“CIS’s much-touted tagline is ‘low immigration, pro-immigrant,’ but the organization has a decades-long history of circulating racist writers, while also associating with white nationalists,” SPLC continues.
Now CIS has responded to SPLC’s statements by filing a lawsuit.
CIS executive director Mark Krikorian said that SPLC has no right to “label us a hate group.”
“SPLC and its leaders have every right to oppose our work on immigration, but they do not have the right to label us a hate group and suggest we are racists,” Krikorian said. “The Center for Immigration Studies is fighting back against the SPLC smear campaign and its attempt to stifle debate through intimidation and name-calling.”
Krikorian et al. allege that SPLC damaged CIS by a “conspiracy to falsely call it a hate group.” The damages listed included termination from the AmazonSmile Program, which CIS said occurred because of SPLC’s “hate group designation.” CIS says that has cost the organization “at least $10,000 in donations to date and damages are ongoing.”
CIS argued that “Hatewatch” blog posts violated the wire fraud statute.…

The SPLC should designate Saudi Arabia a hate group. They own the biggest share of Twitter & divorce couples in which a partner is African & enslave Africans.

The FBI has an “ongoing” relationship with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a left-wing tax free scam that once placed brain surgeon, Dr. Ben Carson on an “extremist watch list.”
Southern Poverty Law Center is a fraudulent enterprise.. It’s a left-wing political group that uses ‘hate crime’ designations to target its ideological enemies and to crush people.

I do have the sense that their influence is waning, and that a lot of people are becoming aware of what a scam SPLC has become. But perhaps that sense is merely a product of my hanging around too many right wing web sites!

I haven’t bought a Kellogg’s product in two years when I found out they gave a million dollars to BLM…BLM advocates killing law enforcement and first responders….
I have long list of other companies that either give to groups that are covers for Antifa, BLM,SPLC, CAIR, etc….my shopping is very limited these days.

When Obama was in office he gave the SPLC an office in D.C. and funds…”to help identify terrorists and hate speech” (according to them). I’m curious if they still have that taxpayer office in D.C….
In his last two years he brought in UN Police to America to spy on Americans and “identify terrorists and hate speech in America”!!!……I remember being shocked to the core that foreign “police” were in our country spying on American citizens and reporting to the Muslim Marxist Obama….and not one peep out of Congress or the American people….
..I don’t know how many people remember this: When Obama was running for office the first time he was being interviewed on Good Morning America. He stated that he believed a President should have their own private police force!!I I was so shocked I yelled at the television to him: “You communist idiot! We don’t have private police forces in America!!!”
Turns out I was wrong…..we’re now finding out that his “police force” was/is our own FBI, DOJ, CIA, and other spy agencies

Somali-born women’s rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali was also on the list.. Ali, a victim of female genital mutilation who advocates against FGM , is an award-winning human rights activist. For the last decade, her nonprofit, the AHA Foundation, has worked to protect women from honor violence, forced marriage and genital mutilation.
But according to the SPLC’s list, Ali is an “anti-Muslim extremist.”

Where are the competent, wealthy and judicious-minded attorneys who would take the cases of Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer and dozens of other organizations pro-bono (or on a contingency basis) in a class-action representation against SPLC-knowing, full well, they cannot lose?
Their damages must be extensive, to say the least.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why this hasn’t already been done. Someone, anyone, please explain! I can’t figure it out.

Now do you see why it was a danger to the First Amendment to allow the concept of “hate crimes” to take a foothold? It all gets down to who gets to define the word “hate.” Obviously, the SPLC is not to be trusted with that responsibility. (Nor should anyone be given it. It’s unamerican.)

I have been on it since 2011 and have firsthand experience of their tactics.
I would elaborate as I did in my removed post,but I don’t have the time to waste only to have another of my posts censored.
