Senate advances bill that allows states to penalize companies boycotting Israel, 19 Nazi Senators vote to boycott Jews

48

The BDS movement is, despite its claims to stand for human rights, a movement that is built on hatred for the State of Israel and for Jews in general. It is a Nazi-like movement to boycott Jewish businesses, just as the Nazis did. So it is not surprising that hard core of the increasingly antisemitic Democrats would emulate the Nazis and show itself to be as hateful as they were by attempting to stop this Senate bill blocking these neo-Nazi actions against Jews and the Jewish state. The Nazi leaders who voted to boycott Jews were these: @SenatorBaldwin @SherrodBrown @SenatorCarper @SenatorDurbin @SenFeinstein @SenGillibrand @MartinHeinrich @maziehirono @timkaine @SenatorLeahy @SenJeffMerkley @ChrisMurphyCT @SenGaryPeters @SenJackReed @SenSanders @SenatorShaheen @SenatorTomUdall @ChrisVanHollen @SenWarren

“Senate advances bill that allows states to penalize companies boycotting Israel,” by Alex Swoyer, Washington Times, January 28, 2019 (thanks to Mark):

After weeks of a shutdown-inspired filibuster, some Senate Democrats relented Monday and joined Republicans to advance a bill to give state and local governments a green light to penalize companies that boycott Israel.

Story continues below advertisement

The Senate voted 74-19 to head off an initial blockade and clear the path for the bill to reach the chamber floor later this week. The vote also signals that barring a major dust-up, the legislation likely has enough support to pass.

Democrats had been filibustering for weeks, with some objecting to the bill on policy grounds and others arguing they didn’t want to deal with any other issues as long as government was partially closed.

Now that the shutdown is over, those latter objections disappeared.

Republicans called the bill a major piece of “pro-Israel” legislation.

“At its core, the linchpin of it is helping Israel defend itself,” said Sen. Marco Rubio, Florida Republican, who sponsored the legislation.

The bill would reaffirm defense cooperation with Jordan, provide humanitarian assistance to allies in the Middle East dealing with the fallout of the Syrian civil war, and authorize military defense and loan guarantees to Israel.

“It tells our ally Israel that our commitment to its security is ironclad. It tells our partners in Jordan that we have their backs as they grapple with the flow of refugees and other ongoing effects of the Syrian crisis,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on the chamber floor.

“And it makes a crystal clear statement to the Syrian regime and those who abet it, your brutality needs to end,” the Kentucky Republican added.

The most controversial part, though, was a provision to give state and local governments the ability to penalize and not do business with companies boycotting Israel as a way to protest the country’s occupation of the West Bank. Some companies from various countries have engaged in economic boycotts of Israel — or Israel-linked companies — as a way to show solidarity with Palestinians.

Roughly 26 states have passed laws against companies participating in economic boycotts against Israel. The state laws have been passed by leaders from both parties.

Some liberal activists, though, are protesting the bill’s boycott provision, saying it violates the right of free speech.

The American Civil Liberties Union has challenged four state laws, winning two judgments in Arizona and Kansas so far with federal courts saying the laws run afoul of the First Amendment by trampling on Americans’ expressive conduct. There’s no Supreme Court precedent squarely on the subject.

The ACLU sent a letter to lawmakers this month urging them to vote against moving forward with the legislation.

Of the 19 members of the Democratic caucus who voted against the bill, five of them are potential 2020 presidential contenders. Those included: New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Pennsylvania Sen. Sherrod Brown, and Oregon Sen. Jeff Merkley. Sen. Bernard Sanders, Vermont independent, also voted against the bill, saying punishing the boycotters would violate the First Amendment….

Those that boycott Israel, if they would be selling land to Jews in Israel they would be imprisoned & tortured by Muhammadist Fatah, like is now happening to many.
That shows that the boycotters don’t have any legal legitimacy whatsoever to continue their Anti-non-muhammadist incitement.
The censorship of Non-muhammadists by Muhammadist controlled social media like Twitter & Facebook must stop.

It was Solomon who said there’s nothing new under the sun. The children of the devil have opposed God’s chosen people right from the beginning. They strove mightily to destroy the line of the Messiah throughout the Old Testament until it was accomplished (temporary) in Yeshua. Their first major accomplishment, after that, was the destruction of the Temple and family lineages making it impossible to accurately confirm the Levitical lineage and tracing back to King David for the messiah the Jews await. They fight mightily against the Jews and attempt to obliterate them to this day because national Israel will someday look upon Him whom they pierced and mourn for Him as for an only child (Zechariah 12:10). It’s the last bit of venom Satan’s people have for God’s chosen…

We are fortunate, in this day and age, to have broad access to opinions. It is, of course, a blessing and a curse to have access to the much of the worldwide MSM. What raises my hackles is the never-ending blame by the biased, conjuring MSM, blaming, condemning conservatives, the alt-right as the antisemites, anti-Israel movement. The facts are, as in this article and others, the US’s Democrats, UK’s Labour and Tories, Canada’s Liberals and copious others who are the malevolent propagators of antisemitism, anti-Israel. Progressivism’s, a hybrid of Marxism and Fascism, unabashed, unconscionable loathing of Jews and the State of Israel and the want to Boycott Jews and The State of Israel.

One does not need prescience or a time machine to grasp, Progressive Fascism, the Democrats, Globalists and a bevy of others endeavor reestablish, return to 1930s/40s Nazi Germany. The senates bill will likely come to no more than political gesturing and end up dragged through state legislators. It is not uncommon for me to be wrong; however, the inner workings of the government’s agencies, the FBI, DOJ, Democrats enables those bent on boycotts or voicing antisemitic, anti-Israel vitriol to do so without fear of indictment.

Or 19 Senators believe in 1A over feelings. What right to boycott exists for government in the Constitution? The House should pass a similar bill with this provision stripped.

Let me begin this commentary by pointing out to those
senators who opposed the resolution/bill which essentially states our
government’s support for Israel, that they are forgetting that Israel is, from
my understanding, sharing with this country its many military defense
capabilities, as well as other products that are helpful to our own country,
and that all the Palestinians do is claim falsely that Israel is an apartheid state,
and continuously conducts acts of violence against the nation of Israel. This
has nothing to do with free speech, as hating Israel will continue here and
elsewhere, but it does have to do with both foreign policy and our national
security. Refusing to support this legislation by claiming that American rights
to self-expression are being impacted is as ludicrous as stating that Russia
and China and Iran are our friends. Why do not these leaders see that reality,
and when will our courts wake up to reality and stop legislating?

The death of 6 million Jews has been turned into a mere parable of human suffering to justify importing more migrants.

Also, those who compare the migrants to the Jews are the same people who compare the Palestinian Arabs to the Holocaust’s Jews in a villifying attempt to nazifiy the State of Israel and its life-or-death security policies against terrorists who repeat Hitler’s ideology..

In Italy, a well-known leftist priest, Father Zanotelli, said on television: “About migrants, one day they will say about us the same things we say about the Nazis and the Shoah”. It is one of the most terrible lies that this collective idiot distributes like a drug dealer with hashish.

This legislation is extremely important for many reasons. One important reason is it will give American businesses the cover they need to resist the BDS MOVEMENT which is being financed by Muslim commercial and business interests and pushed by the hard left wing of he Commiecrat party whose announced agenda is to destroy Israel. Otherwise, these businesses are going to be battered by so-called SJW demanding they join the boycott, make contributions and otherwise aid in Israel’s isolation. This legislation needs the support of all freedom loving Americans.

The 2020 presidential candidates, now need the Muslim community, more than they need the Jewish community. Since most Jews vote Demonrat unconditionally, the Muslims might not be that easy. Indeed, with some of the Senators who voted against this bill being Jewish, it gives the others coverage.
It is clearer and clearer each day, that the “New Dem/Socialist Party, ” is no longer the party that supports Israel. They seem to be joining Russia and Iran in their quest to help Russia look good to its friends in the Middle East, Russia, Iran, and the so called Palestinians.
Dissing an ally, in order to look good to those who hate the U.S. and Israel, is the wrong move at the wrong time.

Hmmm

We are a nation of laws which are derived from the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The First Amendment is universally recognized as the cornerstone of our Republic. The First Amendment is clear and unambiguous in both its writing and intent. The right of the citizens to boycott has already been reaffirmed by the Supreme court in a unanimous and almost immediate 1987 decision. Consequently, those that support this bill are by definition attacking the Bill of Rights and our basic freedoms. Without question such actions constitute sedition. And one can make a very strong argument for treason as well.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition
the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Looked at another way: it is clear that the people supporting this Bill would fight tooth and nail against the same legislation if it was to protect say Iran or the State of Palestine.
