Christian persecution: Four churches CLOSED by furious mob – ‘The hate is clear’
FOUR churches have been forced to shut down after angry protestors attacked the premises, amid rising fears of a worldwide crackdown on Christianity.By Latifa Yedroudj, The Express, Jan 16, 2019
In recent weeks, hardline Islamic extremists have carried out a spate of attacks against four churches in Egypt, persecution watchdog International Christian Concern (ICC) has reported. All four churches were in the midst of seeking official recognition from the state to carry out worship services. Following protestors’ demands, Egyptian authorities closed down the churches and denied Christians the right to carry out public worship services. On 7 January, which is Egypt’s Orthodox Christmas, more than 1,000 of furious extremists gathered outside Mar Girgis Church in the village of Manshiyet Zafarana.c
Story continues below advertisementAccording to the Archbishopric of the church, police promised demonstrators they will close down the church and stop Christians from worshipping.
A statement issued by Archbishopric of al-Minya and Abu Qirqas reads: “More than 1,000 militants demonstrated against the church, chanting offensive and inflammatory statements in the presence of security forces.Revolutionary hearing aid is now giving free fit & feel samples. “[They] asked them to calm down and promised them that they would do whatever they wanted to remove the people (Christians) from the place and close it.”
Police officers arrested the church’s priests, transporting them in a car used to carry animals and garbage.
Egypt christian persecution church shut down extremists
Christians in Egypt have faced increased levels of violence in recent months, with a rising spate of attacks against the religious group.
Other similar protests were reported in the village of Abo Karkas on January 11 with protests at the village of Kafr el-Mansoura on 27 December and the village of Kom Al-Raheb on 9 December.
So far, Egyptian authorities have closed down four churches in the past month, but police have yet to arrest the attackers.
Andro, a Christian lawyer, told ICC: “The police behaved by an offensive way. They behaved with the priests as they would with killers. How dare the police cuff the priests! It is a shame on the Copts there.”

Father Sami, a local priest, also told ICC, “What happened frightened us. I am a priest and it is possible for the police to cuff me if the extremist neighboring Muslims protest or gathered in front of my church. Things are getting worse, but let us pray to make God keep us in peace.”
Claire Evans, ICC’s Regional Manager for the Middle East, said: “It is no coincidence that Egypt’s Christians have been so heavily targeted by extremists within the past four weeks.
“They are often singled out during the celebration of Christian holidays, such as Christmas.
“These incidents also demonstrate how the police often contribute to the problem by adhering to the mob’s demands, even allowing the mob to rage on with no consequences for their violent actions.
“President al-Sisi has taken the symbolic step of opening a new cathedral during this time. He must now take action to protect the rights of Christians to worship in other churches.”

This is an ideological problem. Unjust Muhammad incited to kill Non-muhammadists wherever they can be found, to extort or kill Jesuists & make them feel subdued & he said that his Messiah would return when trees & stones would lure Muhammadists to unjustly murder Jews.
A similar situation is occuring in the USA when Trump unjustly accuses Pamela Geller of ‘insulting everybody’, when Muhammadist social media censors censor Non-muhammadist thought, when an Anti-mosque protester is incarcerated for 15 years in Florida, when the lifelong torture of clitodirectomy is declared constitutional in the USA, when Mosques including loudspeakers proliferate in America & Trump finances Fatah, Pakistan & other Muhammadist organisations & sells weapons to Saudi Arabia where Africans* are enslaved, atheists killed & girls clitodirectomized & raped & new Muhammadist Nigeria where government-supported Muhammadists mass-murder.

Perhaps you think that the current spread of this cult is evidence of God’s approval of Islam. Islam today is little different from the heathen nations thousands of years ago that God allowed to develop to be used as tools to bring correction and judgement upon His people.
God is bringing judgement. It has already begun, and Islam, with its’ savagery and barbarism, is the tool He is using to bring about the final conditions needed for the end of the last days. In this sense only is there any greatness to Islam, and it is strictly of a notoriety basis.
We will all face God one day, and to be part of Islam is to be on the wrong side of God. Learn the truth about Christ and come out of it. Do not go before Him believing the lies of Mohammed.

Sorry, I had a major typo; I omitted the word “threat”. My statement was supposed to be, “The greatest threat today is Islam.” Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I totally agree with you on Islam. Will not trade my relationship with Jesus for Islam.

So you’re saying the worst of Western nation behavior is comparable to Islam in general. I would agree, but it is no defense for you to make this claim.
It is true, the West has made terrible mistakes in the past that represented nothing of Christianity. Man’s nature has always been at the heart of hate and the distortion of truth, but this is not what the Bible teaches.
It is equally true though, that the West has made some tremendous contributions to the betterment of mankind, and many of those were rooted in Christian teachings.
Some of the things you have listed have no connection to Western philosophy whatsoever, much less any connection to Christianity. To reject one form of brutality ( albeit from a misguided perception ) and to then only offer another brand of it, is no offer of progress or betterment, much less peace.
Islam distorts the truth as much or more than anything the West has ever done, and sanctions hate against all who disagree with her tenets. What possible value can the barbarism of Islam offer to the path of peace – ” accept my “peace” or die “??? ; no one of any intelligence could ever honestly think that Islam is nothing but hypocrisy at it’s finest.

I’m not surprised, I’m going to assume the vast majority of those deaths is happening in Islamic countries. We in the West, Christians especially can no longer be passive and silent. Muslims already wiped out most of the Christians that used to live in the mideast and other countries.
If this keeps up, then all western nations will be Islamified. I truly hope that Christians (and other non-Muslims) here see what’s going on and do something about the persecution of Christians and other minorities in Muslim countries.
Heck if we could simply give them weapons at least they’ll be able to save themselves. Ideally we should be sending the West’s militaries to exterminate all radical Islamic groups and individuals that are responsible for all these hate, rape and murder. The same should be done in western nations, deportations should occur at the very least.
Just imagine rather than looking at reality, seeing all the mayhem, violence that migrants from Islamic and African countries commit, idiots like Angela Merkel double-down and bring in millions more. The people responsible for this insane policy deserve to be tried for treason.

The number of media deluded that have given their lives believing evil doesn’t exist tells us that propaganda works well on the reality challenged. While the ones in the news are not great in number, they nevertheless represent a still sizable segment of many countries.
Why can’t they see it ? Why is antisemitism, a horror from recent history, on the rise again ? Why does the world ignore the deadly persecution of Christians ? Where does this blindness come from ? Those who can see it are dumbfounded by the obviousness of it escaping the understanding of so many.
The scriptures tell us that all this and more must come to past, and world events against the backdrop of Biblical prophecy are shouting to any who would listen, that this dispensation of man and God is about to end in judgement with a new beginning to follow.
While Europe and the UK are beyond any kind of restoration, it is frustrating to think of how much the invasion and decay may touch N.America. Canada under Trudeau will become/has become a write off, and she shares thousands of miles of unguarded border with the US.
The US pre-Trump, was heading towards utter disaster, and would have been finished had the murderess made it to the WH. God’s hand on Trump is the pin in the grenade for America, and holds back the final flood of evil that will bring about the global conditions characterizing the end of the last days.
I say with no delight, that America, the greatest nation the world has ever seen, has only two possible yet equally horrible futures. Firstly, for every church attacked close 10 mosques in the UK in support. Stop sending tourists there. Start supporting these peoples persecution by talking about this repugnant ideology of islam in the UK. Stop cowering behind your own patheticnes. Churches rarely pray for the Coptic Christians. Catholics rarely pray for the Catholics in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa. By this all men will know that we are not Christian. (John 13:35). If we were Christian, we would be rescuing them.

Every anglophone country (and any other Christian country that wants to join in) should shut down a mosque for every church the muslims close. Five for one, Ten for two. And if the churches are damaged or destroyed the the mosques should be razed to the ground.
