Yesterday anti-BDS (Boycott the Jews) legislation passed in the Senate. However, the bill did not go far enough. The bill only focuses on protecting states that chose to boycott organizations that support the BDS movement. Unfortunately, the bill did not address the abusive and vicious tactics of the various BDS groups on college campuses. An example is the thuggish Students for Justice in Palestine, which routinely calls for violence (Intifada) against Israel and its supporters. As a result, many college campuses are dangerous for pro-Israel students.
The First Amendment rights and safety of pro-Israel (mostly Jewish) students are being severely violated. A separate piece of legislation is urgently required to prevent BDS groups from continuing to violently bully, intimidate, and marginalize pro-Israel students.
Sadly, the Democrat Party is being influenced by the depraved and radical Senator Bernie Sanders, who is also a self-loathing Jew and virulent hater of Israel. Sanders is opposed to any legislation against the seditious BDS movement. The pro-Jihad Sanders considers the violent and anti-Semitic BDS movement to be “peaceful.”

Sanders also believes that any attempts to prevent such violence and intimidation against pro-Israel Americans is a violation of America’s freedom of speech laws. Therefore, Sanders will do everything within his power to prevent further anti-BDS legislation.
If a pro-Israel student is ever killed or severely injured on a college campus by a BDS thug, then Senator Sanders should bear significant responsibility, since he has been the leading opponent against any anti-BDS legislation. Democrats such as Senators Sanders, Feinstein, Warren, Durbin, Gillibrand, and others have significantly emboldened the pro-BDS thugs.
Pro-Israel Senators such as Marco Rubio must enact legislation to protect pro-Israel American students promptly.

While I do not support the BDS movement, we must defend every American’s constitutional right to peacefully engage in political activity. It is clear to me that S.1 would violate Americans’ First Amendment rights.

Since when does a Democrat care about the First Amendment – or any other Amendment? The only time a Commie, I mean, Democrat discusses the Constitution is in how it can be distorted, twisted, and stretched beyond imagining to rationalize their treason.

The key word in this article by Pamela, from my view, is “emboldened.” When this country opened its doors too wide for the concept of “diversity,” we failed to recognize that many people who will come here will bring with them beliefs, mores and conduct that is extremely un-American. When that happened and people began expressing or implying their anti-Semitism, that has “emboldened” those among us who previously avoided acting out their anti-Semitism. If we cannot see that result we are as unconscious as the three monkeys, who hear no evil, speak not against evil, and refuse to recognize the conduct of people like Antifa, Islamists, and White Supremacists’, who have today become all active in promoting violence against everything Jewish. Every day we hear about Iman’s and Mullah’s promoting acts of violence against Jews, and nothing is done about stopping those lunatics. People like Farrakhan, and those new anti-Semitic elected reps also promote that violence, and nothing is done. We need to get tough as free speech does nowhere sanctify violence against any group. We need for the good leaders to actively support
laws that will prosecute violence promotion against any group. Until that is done, nothing will change in our “diverse” society here in America.

The problem with such laws is that they are typically applied to protect Muslims more than anyone else — and they’re the ones that started and aggravate the problems.

Since this is a campus violence issue, I assume the students are barred from obtaining CCW permits and carrying concealed firearms. But there is a weapon that even campus police can’t prevent Jewish students from carrying, and that is a small CO2 fire-extinguisher. When the fascists attack, whip out the fire-extinguishers and blast them right in their open mouths. Say nothing to police until after you’ve spoken with your lawyer. If it goes to court, claim that the left-fascists attacked you with “poisonous hot greenhouse-gas emitting weapons” (their blatting mouths!), so you responded with the same — except colder.

Violence and intimidation are not “free speech.” These acts constitute assault, even if no one is physically touched, or battery, if anyone is hit, or extortion, if the intimidation is intended to force someone to do something, such as, cancel a speaking engagement. These thuggish acts are already against the law in every state. We don’t need a new federal law against assault and battery. And I seem to recall that folks on this site who (like me) are fans of Ms. Geller, agree with her that we do NOT need new “hate speech” legislation which could just as easily and probably WOULD be turned against those who decry jihadism and anti-Israel violence, as it would be against those who perpetrate such violence.
One step at a time is fine with me, so long as the new law is actively enforced.

Bernie Sanders is a POS and a self hating Jew or as I like to call them box car JEws. The ones that woukd not resist and gladly get on Nazi trains. No attempt with larger numbers to wreck havoc. I do agree it is first Amendment right if BDS. Also a right to defend yourself against aggression or harm.

I’m sorry Bernie, free speech ends with openly advocating violence. such speech leads to violence or the toleration of violence and cannot be tolerated or allowed. This is especially the case in tax supported institutions and we do not send our children to these institutions to be indoctrinated in the Culture of Death: Islam or even the toleration of Islam.
