Despite leftist propaganda about “islamophobia,” no cares if you wear the hijab. No one cares if you wear purple hair, for that matter. But woe to you if you take off your hijab. Instead of World Hijab Day that is once again coming around, the real world recognition day should be in tribute to the women who are forced to wear the hijab, and beaten and/or arrested if they don’t, and to women such as Dina Torkia who take it off and get inundated with abuse. The abusive messages that this woman has received are a stunning indictment of the hypocrisy of the evil left, as much as their choice of the sharia-promoting, forced marriage advocate Linda Sarsour for their leader. The real “feminists” are women such as Dina Torkia and those women in Iran who are risking imprisonment and torture for taking off their hijabs. They are fighting for a fraction, a sliver of the freedoms their Western “sisters” enjoy.
“British Muslim YouTube star reads out the abuse she has received since she stopped wearing a hijab – and it takes 47 minutes to get through just some of them,” by Tim Stickings, Mailonline, January 3, 2019:
A British Muslim YouTube star has revealed the outpouring of vile abuse she received after she stopped wearing her hijab full-time.
Dina Torkia, who has more than a million followers on Instagram, said she had made a ‘personal decision to wear it when I want to’.
In a video called The Bad, The Worse And The Ugly she reads out the torrent of abuse she has received from strangers on Facebook.
Even in an uninterrupted 47-video the fashion blogger is only able to get through some of the nasty messages.
Among the offensive and unsolicited posts, one comment said she would ‘be a porn star’ while another called her a ‘sick person mentally’.
Many posts questioned her faith, with one saying ‘she’s not a Muslim any more’ and another writing she was ‘messed up’ and had ‘made Islam look bad’.
Another called her a ‘part-time Muslim’ while yet another said ‘you can’t just wear a hijab when you feel like it’.
Others made uninvited comments on her personal appearance, saying she was ‘ugly and gross’ without the scarf.
The nastiest messages called for her death and used a range of offensive terms to describe her.
The blogger has previously posted videos online about fashionable ways to wear the head covering….

Your contribution supports independent journalism
Please take a moment to consider this. Now, more than ever, people are reading Geller Report for news they won't get anywhere else. But advertising revenues have all but disappeared. Google Adsense is the online advertising monopoly and they have banned us. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have blocked and shadow-banned our accounts. But we won't put up a paywall. Because never has the free world needed independent journalism more.
Everyone who reads our reporting knows the Geller Report covers the news the media won't. We cannot do our ground-breaking report without your support. We must continue to report on the global jihad and the left's war on freedom. Our readers’ contributions make that possible.
Geller Report's independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our work is critical in the fight for freedom and because it is your fight, too.
