Paris on lockdown: protesters steal police assault rifle, burn cars and Christmas trees — 80 injured and 183 arrested

73

They set fire to Christmas trees. Is that an indication that Paris’ sizeable population of Muslims has joined in these riots? There is no indication of that in any of the coverage, but these riots do have similarities to what we have seen of Muslim behavior in Paris before: the torching of cars, the attacks on police, etc. In any case, even if Paris’ Muslims aren’t rioting now, they want a revolution, too, and will take full advantage of one if it begins. The clueless and feckless Macron has brought this upon what was once a beautiful city, the jewel of Europe. He should resign immediately, but won’t, of course.

“‘This is the start of a revolution’: Paris rioters steal police assault rifle, torch dozens of cars and vow to ‘stay in the streets until Christmas’ as fuel protests continue into the night and spread across France – and even to Holland,” by Peter Allen, Tim Stickings, and Connor Boyd, Mailonline, December 1, 2018:

The centre of Paris was on lockdown tonight after masked protesters stole an assault rifle from police, clashed with riot squads and set fire to cars and Christmas trees on the Champs-Elysees in furious demonstrations against the French government.

Story continues below advertisement

Protesters said today’s actions were ‘the start of a revolution’ that would eclipse the mass strikes and occupation of universities and factories in1968 when the country was on the cusp of civil war.

Fires and clouds of tear gas covered the French capital from early morning until late in the evening, in some of the worst violence ever seen in the French capital as more than 5,000 demonstrators brought chaos to Paris for the second week running.

As so-called Yellow Vest fuel price demonstrators marched along the opulent Avenue Foch near the Arc de Triomphe, home to embassies and luxury residences, they were joined by criminal groups included looters.

French President Emmanuel Macron has promised the protesters will be ‘held responsible for their acts’.

Macron said today’s demonstrations which have left dozens injured and hundreds arrested ‘have nothing to do with the peaceful expression of a legitimate anger.’ He said ‘no cause justifies attacks on police or pillaging stores and burning buildings’….

French President Emmanuel Macron has promised the protesters will be ‘held responsible for their acts’.

I don’t think they are intimidated by you Jupiter, er Macron.

Why are people protesting?

The protests are essentially about recent tax hikes on fuel (gasoline and especially diesel) as part of the government’s proposed carbon tax designed to improve its environmental credentials.
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/12/03/france-fuel-protests-heres-whats-happening-and-why-it-matters.html

How can that be? Don’t the French know the CLIMATE CHANGE MATTERS?
LOL!
They bought into the climate hoax and there is a price to that…

It’s not just fuel tax felix. These are mainly the ordinary white working class Parisians that haven’t seen a wage rise in a decade while they are facing increasing taxes on everything and just can not afford to live.
Their government must increase taxes and invent new ones to pay for the massive migrant population that is infesting the whole of France. And with the signing of the UN Global Migrant Compact which is due to be signed next week it’s going to get a whole lot worse.
FK MACRON’ THE UN AND EU TOO!

Time to mow down those protesters with tanks and deal with the consequences later. If Trump or anyone objects, their ambassadors get expelled and are escorted to the airport.

What, it seems you’re pro-Macron and for Islamists to continue to rule the streets. Best course for France would be for Macron to resign and for Le Penn to take win in new elections. Otherwise, France is sunk.

I’m for law and order. Mass murder of thugs is fine by me. Let the streets run red. If it turns out that Marine Le Pen is giving material support (beyond just words) to the rioters, she should be executed without trial.

When the yellow jackets post their own snipers, as BLM did upon many occasions, with special attention given to Dallas … and Macron has them over, upon multiple occasions, or even Le Pen … shouldn’t they receive the same punishment that former president obimbo did?

Paris is a very expensive place to live and these ordinary white working class non muslim Parisians are taxed to their back teeth on wages that haven’t increased in a decade.
These are not the bourgeois middle class antifa wankers that riot at the drop of a hat’ they have a genuine grievance that the establishment choose to ignore. And you want them mown down because they can’t afford to live! Am I missing something or are you absolutely fkn stupid?

Because the “gas tax” is only an excuse of the media to not say directly why people are really protesting, which is the mass immigration policies that have their country ruined.

Another article stated “protests are part of a wider revolt against the elite and have taken on somewhat of a nationalist tone.
Prominent leaders of the protest movement have outlined their support for failed asylum seekers to be returned to their home countries, for legal immigrants to undergo rigorous integration programs, and for France to introduce popular referendums as part of the country’s constitution.” — Maybe the French are finally rejecting the globalists’ takeover of their country.

Is that an indication that Paris’ sizeable population of Muslims has joined in these riots?

No, purely a coincidence, I’m sure.

Actually, the erudite blog, gatesofvienna.net, with the Baron who admits to a certain conspiratorial inclination, had a good article about this over the weekend. The Baron’s intrepid correspondent had the temerity to point out that the recent riots, which MSM has described as being the handiwork of the “yellow vests”, stood in marked contrast to the inital yellow vest protests. In those protests, people did not wear masks and behaved in a civil manner, neither of which could be said of the recent protesters.

It also was pointed out that the “protesters” with a Middle Eastern or African countenance, like the one pictured above, frequently do not wear masks- after all, they have no fear of the authorities.

The rioters are thugs who are akin to Antifa, Black lives, Occupy–which makes them anti-democratic– just as when the above leftist hoodlums were torching America.

It doesn’t take much to realize that burning down stores, hitting police, and acting like storm troopers by shutting down roads and terrorizing citizens is social destruction. What started out as a semi-legitimate concern has quickly deteriorated into mass violence for the sake of power. Unfortunately, this destructive behavior has infected the average
French protester, who like everyone else is conflicted with guilt, brainwashing, and hidden destructive impulses (the small person who support the dictators). These are the typical French ( not Muslims at this point), and that is troubling indeed, as they usually know the difference between right and wrong.

You work your bollocks off for $200 a week and put up with taxes on everything rising daily and see how long you’d put up with it.
Macron needs to be put under this pressure or he will stay on their backs sucking the lifeblood out of France while allowing more migrants to enter their country.
Enough is Enough!

The news is Macron’s government is backing down on the fuel taxes. They Will soon learn that the revolt is more about the destruction of French culture and western civilization than the cost of diesel. The French need to drive every Muslim out of France and back to own countries where they can live in peace and obedience to their faith.

I should add that the Macron only backed down when the police and gendarmes began to join the protests. Macron can only stay in power as long as he controls the police and military.Once that is gone, he is gone the next day.

The problem in France is not triggered by raising taxes on fuel. That had to be done because of Inflation caused by overspending to accomodate all those Muslims. The French government, along with Sweden and other European countries are feeding and housing too many people for their economy to manage. Clearly, the “refugees” offer nothing but a drain on the pocketbook. How long did Macron think he could sustain the status quo?
The very idea that a country has a “no-go zone” is a challenge to democracy. I would love to see another revolution in Europe but I don’t look forward to Europeans being killed. The easy way would be to deport the invaders, but we know that is not going to happen that easily. As long as you feed them, somebody has to pay. This lesson was plain as day, yet Hungary and Poland were the only Europeans to recognize the danger. That says a lot about the leadership in Europe, and also shows the shortcomings of Globalism. Yet, they persist.

It may take the fall of Britain and the fall of France and the fall of Germany and the rest of Europe before a righteous resistance is organized against the Islamic invaders. The leadership of those countries have already capitulated; they have submitted. Spiritually this has great significance. When you bow, or submit to another authority you have in a sense acquiesced your autonomy, your independence, your freedom. On a spiritual and psychological level the battle has already been lost in Britain and in France, even if it will take awhile for the actual physical manifestation of the spiritual rot to appear.
The battle is essentially over. Islam has won over the hearts and minds of the leadership in academia, in culture and in the arts and in politics. They have forsaken their Judea-Christian heritage. Babylon has fallen, has fallen. The masses are the unfortunate victims, however in their decadence and abandonment of traditional morals and ethics they have gotten the leaders that they deserved. We are witnessing something historic, very much like the latter stages of the kingdoms of Judea and Israel prior to their dispersal and captivity in the fourth, fifth and sixth centuries B.C. We are witnessing The Decline and Fall of Western Civilization. And it will collapse, It has already collapsed spiritually, morally and culturally. The inevitable actual, visible societal collapse and fall to Islam is inevitable. What has happened and is happening is irreversible. God is raising up those countries in Eastern Europe along with Russia as a new bastion and a new refuge for those who still fear and honor the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Eventually Europe will experience what Jerusalem experienced in 70 A.D.
And the Muslim flag will fly from the roofs of Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace, and the Royal Family will either live in subjection as Dhimmis, or they will forsake their God given inheritance as Protectors of the Faith and convert to the bastard “religion” of Muhammad, or they will be slain or live in exile because of their negligence, irresponsibility and foolishness. The current celebrity royals who enjoy the limelight of fame in this cultural wasteland have forsaken their sworn duty to defend their land and their people from foreign invaders. They and their descendants will richly deserve their fate.
