UK: Nativity scene destroyed in Ilford, baby Jesus found decapitated
A nativity scene in Ilford has been “destroyed by idiots”.The British Pakistani Christian Association (BCPA) paid for and installed the statues to remind people in the High Road of the real meaning of Christmas.
Yet, in an attack on Christianity, the Virgin Mary and Joseph have been smashed and the infant Jesus was decapitated.

A local non-religious resident told the Ilford Recorder the incident was “religious desecration”. She said: “It is three days before Christmas and this happens”.
Further saying, “Any other religion and there would be an outcry and it would have been fixed already.
“It is a desecration of a religious icon – I am disgusted.” She explained that she had reported it to Redbridge Town Hall but as it was not their nativity, and they were on their way to lunch, they couldn’t do anything about it.
The chairman of the British Pakistani Christian Association, Wilson Chowdhry, was shocked someone would do something like this and that all the BPCA wanted to do was share the true meaning of Christmas amidst all of the commercialism.
“Unfortunately we will not be able to get another one in time for Christmas but we won’t be stopped by some idiots,” he said. “We will come back next year and do an even bigger one.
“Jesus himself was persecuted and killed by haters but he rose again and BPCA will replace the Nativity next year and this temporary setback will be forgotten.”
He hopes next year’s nativity will be in a safer location and stated, “As an Ilford Recorder poll suggested last year that the majority of local people desire a Nativity, use of the entrance should be given a priority.
“In the meantime I apologise to people of the borough for the devastation of the figurines which must have disturbed many. “We want to be making sure that all religions are living here peacefully.”

I expect that perpetrators will be prosecuted for a crime (of criminal damage aggravated by religious hatred, hence a “hate crime”), providing that evidence of who did it can be found. It now all depends on that IF. But can’t say I’ve heard anything of it on bbc or “guardian”.

But how many of your fellow country bumpkins agree with you about that? Most English people I know think Tommy Robinson supporters are in the minority. The police are extremely peed off with them, not least in having to function as thought police against the majority view. I think I read some a man in Florida who broke some windows at a Mosque was sentenced to thirty years? I am not certain about this, it was months ago, and I read incidents like these daily, but I imagine one could find it on the NET.
The people of the UK might wish to return en masse to their churches, for starters. Had they not left them, matters would be different, for all of us.

I wonder had they been reading Pamela Geller’s reports, within the last two months, detailing how Christians in Egypt have been once again attacked; did they read about how a woman in Egypt will be stand trial in January 2019, because she wore what is to us just a long attractive evening dress on one occasion. I agree with you that Muslims have committed more crimes than our friend Dave Glynn in this thread of commentary. But I do not make a false equivalence.
I am angry when people make a false equivalence of comparing Tommy Robinson and Pamela Geller to Islamic terrorists. No, these two heroic people are doing the exact opposite of the Islamic terrorists. They are fighting evil. They are showing up the evil that the Islamists commit. They are motivated by good. Whereas the Islamists are motivated by pride in promoting their religion no matter what the human cost.
Dave Glynn is very similar in character to the Islamists. He too is motivated by pride. He abused me, because I pointed out the truth to him: the British government can get away with immoral and illegal acts like banning Pamela Geller from the UK, because they know the level of education of their nation, and they the British people do not have the education to question these decisions.

I believe that people are frustrated, upset, hurt by reports of these attacks, or insults, that they read about regularly, not only on this site, but other news as well. It seems like one cannot win or get a handle on the matter. To be sure, it appears life has changed from what is was decades ago, and people are concerned.

I’m not a big church goer but am a Christian all the same and decided to go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve at my local church and was surprised to find it packed to the roof with standing room only and the atmosphere was wonderful. The vicar said a couple of things that ruffled my feathers in that he brought Brexit into his speech and also described Mary and Joseph as asylum seekers! Now I take great offence at this narrative and I imagine many others do too. What we need to hear from the pulpit is that the Wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing are amongst us’ but no church is brave enough to speak this obvious truth and thus why I see the decline of the church going community.
What we need is a vicar that is not afraid to speak politically incorrect sermons and not worry about offending fragile ears.
I know that Xmas Eve is different but it just goes to show how many silent people still care.

This year when President Trump visited England. Your Foreign Secretary, Mr Jeremy Hunt, approached President Trump at Chequers, asking Mr Trump to help with saving the White Helmets from Syria. The White Helmets are Muslims. Mr Trump expressed that he did not think the White Helmets were good people. I don’t think they are either. They have been the propagandists for Isis against President Assad of Syria. They make up stories of Assad’s chemical war against his own people, but never talk of how Isis kills Christians in Syria.
Anyway, Trump wanted to please his British hosts, so agreed to organise getting 98 of the White Helmets and their familes out of Syria via Israel and Jordan. I am sure President Assad and the Syrian people were glad to see the back of them. However President Trump very wisely did not take in any of these White Helmets to America, at a cost to the American taxpayer, and endangering their security. Instead it was the dummy countries of UK, France, Holland, Canada, Germany who have taken them in. Your British local councils pay the rent for their housing now, and each adult White Helemt is given between 200 and 300 pounds sterling per month pocket money by the British taxpayer. I thought your National Debt was supposed to be in the trillions of pounds, with a budget deficit increasing each year.
Tommy Robinson has talked of Syrian refugees bullying a British family so much, that the British family had to move home. Then your stupid British actor James Sutton insults our brave Pamela Geller, saying she ought to be sued the hell out of. She is also banned from entering your country. I had a comment below and the page was whisked away. I had asked what had Tommy Robinson done? Why was he maligned. Was it for his ideology? Are people allowed to have their own thoughts about matters?
