US Air Force’s Air University warns of devastating attack on national power grid that could collapse US society

146

An EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attack could take down the entire nation’s power grid, leading to a total collapse of American society.

This is not hysteria or exaggeration. The Air University’s Lemay Center for Doctrine Development and Education has just issued its 2018 report, Electromagnetic Defense Task Force, by Major David Stuckenberg, Ambassador R. James Woolsey, and Colonel Douglas DeMaio. It makes for sobering reading. The report warns: “While EMS [electronmagnetic spectrum] vulnerabilities and threats have matured, national and even international capabilities to deny or mitigate such threats and vulnerabilities remain highly dispersed or incomplete. In some areas, there is a complete absence of strategy. In other cases, traditional deterrence efforts afford little to no utility in preventing adverse enemy action in the EMS. In many respects, this is not dissimilar from deterrence activities in cyber space—which are almost completely ineffective….Unlike some tactical gray zone threats, strategic EMS gray zone challenges can conceivably threaten a nation’s survival. Gray zone EMS threats, such as EMP, were addressed by the commander of the United States Strategic Command, General John Hyten, USAF, during his remarks at the Air Force Association Convention on 20 September 2017, when he noted, ‘EMP is a realistic threat and it’s a credible threat.’ General Hyten went on to note that civil society is not prepared to address the challenges associated with an EMP attack.”

So what can be done in the face of this threat? Read the full report here.

Hardening the grid against this sort of disaster is long overdue. Cost is high but there seems to be no choice.

To the contrary: There is a ‘choice’ and we’ve had more than sufficient time to ‘protect’ ourselves (as a nation) but have chosen, unwisely, not to do so.

And why were the RINOs and Dimms elected, repeatedly, when they fundamentally failed the American people refusing to fulfill their oaths to, first, protect our nation? We elected them.

They did, indeed, lied and connived their way into our government-and we continually re-elected the posers and charlatans who, simply, enriched themselves at our expense and the security of our nation…yes, with the help of uneducated illegals they brought in to put (and keep) them in office.

So we’ll, all, suffer the consequences both now and in the future.

When there is no electricity:

> Refrigerated food spoils.

> Cities cannot filter water.

> Gasoline and diesel pumps stop pumping.

> Homes cannot be air-conditioned.

> Backup power to telephone central-offices and cellular towers eventually expires.

Anyone who has lived through the aftermath of a hurricane or other natural disaster that knocks out electricity knows this.

Mark Levin has had at least two programs on CRTV about these and other dangers of not hardening the USA’s electrical grid.

Hardening the grid should join building the wall as a top priority for U.S. security.

Alarmism is a crazy modern disease, caused by the always available “digital media” (which are more a curse
than a blessing), which makes people insecure and anxious. We should not play this absolutely sick game of
the rulers, and not let ourselves be robbed of the joy of existence, because that is exactly what they want: our
constant anxiety. They want us to be distrustful and to hide away, to smell an approaching threat or bomb ex-
plosion in every sound. I can no longer take all this idiocy seriously, here the tough realism, rationalism has to
argue with pure statistics. One thing seems absolutely certain: successful people do not permanently deal with
such nonsense. They remain completely calm and use their time to expand always their biographical advantage.

I think our joy of existence has been robbed. Didn’t a recent study demonstrate that people overall are depressed?
Life is different now, and we likely cannot go back to what it was, our innocence stolen, our eyes opened.
I feel for our descendants.
There is nothing to be done, but to stand prepared, to accept the challenge, it is what it is.
The changes started in the early sixties, possibly before that. Some changes were indeed improvements such as medical advancements, and some humanitarian decisions/rules, attempting to ensure equality for all, but overall we went downhill, or so it seems to me, imho. I imagine the reasons were/are multifactorial.

What needs to be be done for security needs to be done.
I think my idea of cultivating ecological best quality basics, utilizing automization while supporting self-realization around that basic production would open capacities & order to make work more effectively & enable projects like the strengthening of the electric power grid, stopping plastic & mercury waste into the oceans, preventing Muhammadist immigration & so on.
Reflecting on this I think we have a similar issue with the catastrophe of Muhammadism.
• Ideologically & culturally people are not prepared for the ongoing deceptive attack of Muhammadism on the education-institutions, media, social media, Army-administration, Police & government.
• & military there are regions controlled by Muhammadists, openly like Saudi Arabia & secretly like Germany.
Both, ideological & military protection from the unjust Muhammad-law need strengthening.
• Ideologically: it’s important for people to have a profound understanding of history, of the catastrophe of Muhammadism causing daily great suffering to people worldwide, of unjust Muhammad & of his unjust Muhammad-law.
• Militarily we must recognize the live threat & longterm damage to the military eminating from:
– Muhammadist interference in education & media through censorship of education-institutions, social media, media, prisons, religious institutions, Army, Police & government.
– & Muhammadist immigration.
& There are certain basics that anybody should know as common knowledge:
• Hitler viewed the unjust Muhammadism as ultimate Nazi religion that as he told his architect & minister of war Albert Speer matches the German temperament better & many Nazi criminals openly converted to the unjust Muhammadism after the war & worked for the Egyptian Muhammadist regime under Nasser or in Syria.
Nazi-SS Wilhelm Berner for example instructed Muhammadist anti-Israel terrorists after the war.
• Africans are enslaved from Saudi Arabia to Mauritania in emulation of unjust Muhammad who started the global African slave-trade by saying his unproven deity had turned Africans black so the African’s descendants would be slaves to Arabs & Turks.
• Unjust Muhammad burned people for not praying, crucified critics, commanded the torture of clitodirectomy, forced theism on anyone, raped, tortured, declared war on atheists, Jews & all other Non-muhammadists & ‘kissed’ penises of boys & sucked boys’ tongues & lips.
We must protect ourselves & abolish the Muhammadist tyrannies & replace’em with an ethical global system that upholds the ethical values of truth, justice, love, American English, friendliness, ecology, human rights, global imperialism, freedom from religion & to atheism, healthy food (see DrAxe.com), cultivation of ecological best quality basics, support for self-realisation & the abolition of the unjust Muhammad-law worldwide.

we are and have been a sitting duck for a long time. it would be simple for the millions of enemies that we have allowed into this country to blow up an interstate bridge, an electrical power line tower, a water tunnel, a gas pipe line, and cell phone towers in a coordinated attack on one day and bring much of the US to its knees overnight. and yet both political parties cannot bring themselves to even enforce our existing immigration laws, let alone protect us from such an attack. the US has truly become too stupid to survive the 21st century

An attack doesn’t have to take out the whole country to be devastating, either. A few major cities, say, in the Northeast would cause havoc.

Your description is analogous to a major fault movement in California (Frisco, LA areas). Devastating in itself, but not to the entire country. The financial fallout would be more devastating.

A 7.0+ near New Madrid, MO would be more devastating.

Any of you that have the ability to stream and find an episode of LIFE, LIBERTY, AND LEVIN that had a guest on by the name of Dr. Walter E. Williams form George Mason University….do your best to find his episode. He wrote a book titled: America Contempt of Liberty.
He explained all the Constitutional freedoms we’ve already given up since it’s inception….and how close we are to losing the few remaining we have left…..awesome speaker!

Then find the episode of Jon Voight talking about how he converted from a screaming, demonstrating Dimm…to a staunch Conservative….It was a moving interview….and full of information I didn’t know even though I lived through the times he references….

I also saw the episode of George Gilder who wrote the book: Life After Google. He explains that so much that is coming our way that will free us from the horrors of Google, Twitter, and all the other Fascists internet providers….very brilliant man. It took every IQ point I had to keep up with him….and it made me feel so hopeful about the future.

I used to not like Levin because every time you saw him he was upset and screaming at the top of his lungs….but on this show he is calm, he introduces the guest, and then sits back and listens….very, very, informative guests… I’ve now got it set to copy each episode…

The type of international electromagnetic pulse attack most people envision would have to be delivered from far above the earth’s surface, think Hiroshima. Such is impractical because the pulse would be widespread since it cannot be confined to a specific target area.

However, if the attacking country were North Korea or some such that did not care if it was tantamount to a murder/suicide, that changes things.

Pass the SHIELD Act Now, Before It’s Too Late

breitbart. com/national-security/2013/07/29/pass-the-shield-act-now-before-it-is-too-late/

On June 18, (2015) the Congressional EMP Caucus held a public event to launch the SHIELD Act, (H. R. 1073) which would protect the national electric grid from a natural or manmade electromagnetic pulse (EMP).

EMP is the ultimate cyber threat, a high-tech means of killing millions the old fashioned way–through starvation, disease, and societal collapse.

An EMP can be generated by a terrorist or rogue state nuclear missile, or even by lofting a warhead with a balloon, perhaps launched off a freighter near our shores to preserve anonymity, and burst at high-altitude. A single crude nuclear weapon could generate an EMP that would collapse electric grids and critical infrastructures everywhere in the United States.

A ship-launched EMP attack by terrorists or rogue states could conceal the identity of the attacker, so we might never know who hit us.

Iran, the world’s chief sponsor of international terrorism, openly writes about eliminating the United States with an EMP attack, has conducted live missile launches simulating EMP attacks, and has practiced missile launching from a vessel in the Caspian Sea. In December 2012, North Korea used an intercontinental missile to orbit a satellite that appeared to be a practice run for a surprise nuclear EMP attack that bypasses U.S. early warning radars and missile defenses.

An EMP can also be generated by the Sun, causing geomagnetic storms on Earth. In 1989, a geomagnetic storm blacked out eastern Canada, inflicting billions of dollars in losses. In 1859, the Carrington Event, a rare geomagnetic super-storm, caused worldwide damage and fires in telegraph stations and other primitive electronics–none of which were then necessary for societal survival.

H.R. 1073 Introduced: Feb 25, 2015
Status:Passed House on Nov 16, 2015

This bill passed in the House on November 16, 2015 and goes to the Senate next for consideration.

Prognosis Details
This bill has a 3% chance of being enacted.

Why? Industry does not want to pay for it and Congress has been effectively bribed to ignore the threat.

Once again the corporate bottom line trumps national security.

……………………Reply from Rep. Bob Latta

Thank you for contacting me in support of H.R. 1073, the Critical Infrastructure Protection Act (CIPA). In order to make sound voting decisions, I need to hear from the constituents in the Fifth Congressional District. I appreciate you taking the time to contact me with your thoughts on this issue, as I know how important it is to you.

CIPA was introduced by Representative Trent Franks (R-AZ) on February 25, 2015 and was passed by the House of Representatives on November 16, 2015 by a voice vote. It is now awaiting action in the Senate. This legislation would amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to define EMP to mean an electromagnetic pulse caused by intentional means, including acts of terrorism; and a geomagnetic disturbance caused by solar storms or other naturally occurring phenomena. This legislation would direct the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to include in national planning frameworks, the threat of EMP events and conduct outreach to educate owners and operators of critical infrastructure, emergency planners, and emergency response providers of the threat of EMP events. DHS would be responsible for preparing and recommending the intelligence, analysis, and infrastructure protection strategy against EMP events and to submit them to specified congressional committees; for the purpose of protecting and preparing the critical infrastructure of the American homeland against EMP events. DHS will need to update the status of the strategy every two years and report the update to the specified congressional committees. Thank you again for contacting me on this issue.

It is my great honor to serve as your Member of Congress and it is my number one priority to represent you and the best interests of the Fifth Congressional District. Please do not hesitate to call, write, or e-mail me in the future with any of your concerns or questions. For federal-related issues, you may reach my Washington, D.C. office by phone at (202) 225-6405, or my District office at (800) 541-6446 for constituent services. I encourage you to visit my website at http://latta.house.gov where you can sign up for my e-newsletter and text message updates. The website also provides links to my YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr pages, as well as my blog, all of which will help bring my work in Washington, D.C. home to you.

Colorado rapidly moved toward going blue beginning far back as 1992. Remember Judge Bayless .. who ruled against a voter-initiated amendment that marriage is between a man and a woman?

LGBTs have been celebrating since then.

little fat jeffrey bayless. wonder how much he was paid for that ruling. also never forgot roy romer, the guy who was flying to DC to screw his secretary while his wife of 6 children sat at home, marching with the homosexual mob the night the amendment passed, swearing he would overturn the will of the people of colorado, which he did. also remember the colorado supreme counrt, packed with 7 democrats, ruling that the people of colorado had to pay the $2 million legal tab of the homosexual mob. yeah, that and legalized gambling, legalized pot, legalized selling of booze on sunday, repealing the sodomy laws, and various other things have occurred since i moved here in 1985. colorado is truly one of the most godless states in the union, to the point that i don’t see myself growing old here surrounded by all this evil

Left Denver for PHX 8/2015. The same stuff is coming here in droves from all directions. What you provided is a fine summary of progressive debauchery in CO. Don’t forget what the LGBTQ bunch did to Jack Phillips in Lakewood – aided and abetted by the CO Civil Rights Commission – who again went on the offensive against baker Jack after SCOTUS cleared him last June.

The countries that hold themselves together fare better. A scattered mind achieves little. When one is spread thin, one does not accomplish much.
We have been groomed over the decades to accept the guilt of the world, and to believe we can fix everything, and should do so.
Our laws are lax, personal responsibility is the dominion of the few, drugs have addled many, wrong ideology has addled many more.
This President was a gift.
Just an afterthought. They who are admitted as citizens of the US must forego all other allegiance to any former country, must learn the English language, must acclimate and assimilate. That means that the US should not become a nation of separate communities, kind of like our universities are now. We must mingle if we are one.
I could be wrong about those sentiments, but at the moment I guess that is how I feel.

North Korea EMP attack could destroy U.S. – right now

STATE MAKES IT LAW TO HARDEN GRID AGAINST EMP

Strategy encourages others to take similar precaution

Published: 06/16/2013

http://www.wnd.com/2013/06/state-makes-it-law-to-harden-grid-against-emp/

WASHINGTON – Maine has become the first state in the nation to pass legislation ordering its grid to be hardened against an electromagnetic pulse, or EMP, event, according to report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

“This is the first major success for those who have been fighting to get grass roots Americans to take this existential threat seriously and to deal with it,” said former Ambassador Henry Cooper, the first director of the Strategic Defense Initiative under then President Ronald Reagan.

Read the documentation that’s sparking the worry about the EMP threat, in “A Nation Forsaken”.

http://superstore.wnd.com/books/A-Nation-Forsaken-AutographedHardcover

Congress has sought in its past two sessions to pass the “SHIELD Act” which also would give the federal government the authority to require the electric power industry to protect the national grid from an EMP.

However, those efforts died in the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which blocked the legislation.

“But the electric power industry has very deep pockets, and an army of K Street lobbyists so far have always been able to buy just the right member of Congress to keep (the legislation) locked up in committee,” Pry said. “Consequently, after nearly a half decade of trying, the Congress has been unable to implement the most important recommendation of the EMP Commission – protection of the electrical grid.”

…thx

Then you will like this.

30 years of open borders was more than enough time to smuggle nukes across the Mexican border.

…………….Hm, but where to put them.

How about a plane crash in the bottom of Yellowstone lake atop the thin 3 mile thick porous cork over the super volcano.

If that sucker blows, radioactive ash 10 to 3 foot thick all the way to the Ohio valley.

All farmland, DEAD. Livestock, DEAD. Rivers, DEAD. Fish, DEAD. Transportation as we know it, DEAD. 200 million, DEAD and dying! 75% of the country DEAD in a month and it will continue to erupt for three months.

This has a high probability precisely because Congress will not secure the Mexican border and enforce existing immigration laws. They LOVE illegal’s and weak national security!

No one makes any money sealing the borders or the ports. So Military Industrial Complex Neo-con’s keep pouring money into ABM related Lasers, Satellites, and Missiles and ignore the obvious.

The next Pearl Harbor will be delivered in a plane or beat up pickup truck on its way north from Mexico. The nuke(s) may even be here now!

And if the Terrorists have a second nuke, drop it off the western flank of La Palma in the Azores and collapse the side of the volcanic Island that is hanging by a thread. The resulting 20-30 meter Tsunami will take out the entire east coast 10 to 20 km inland. I would not be surprised if the Russians had not already planted a large nuclear mine there already to be set off by an ELF wave at their leisure.

The combined effect would destroy 90% of the country. Yellowstone itself could start a cascading worldwide civilization ending event. But in the eyes of crazed terrorists on the other side of the world with lots of cash and little remorse…why not?

However take heart, MAYBE we can knock down a ICBM from North Korea with the new airborne laser if the launch is patterned like the staged marsh mellow tests to date. But the Pacific based Laser cannot target a beat up pickup truck or a small plane crossing the Mexican border in the dead of night hauling a couple nukes to Yellowstone.

……………….The Russians have their own thoughts on this.

And few are making mention of the two North Korean satellites circling America in an appropriate orbit to launch an EMP attack.

By the time it launches, we’re blinded and won’t know who hit us and rendered unable to retaliate.

A matter of importance not often mentioned and not known by most, is the scalar (directed energy) technology the Russians have. This technology was stolen from Tesla’s research and experiments. Russia (as the former Soviet Union) had scalar capability as far back as Nikita Khrushchev.

What makes this weapon more sinister is that no one sees it coming. No launch detection, no mid-flight tracking, no ship posted offshore, no suitcase nuke terrorist to track. Activation releases a burst of energy travelling faster than light. It could disable or destroy any target in seconds; no atmospheric air burst, fireball, no crater, no fallout. No one would know how or why it happened until too late.

If some rogue or superpower nation wanted to capture American wealth and property essentially intact, a better, virtually bloodless method cannot be imagined.

Another piece of survival gear that could come in handy is a firearm of sufficient caliber to be useful in that situation, something more substantial than a single shot .22.

During the Cold War, it was common knowledge that your bomb shelter was useless if you were not prepared to defend it from your neighbor who would commandeer it at gunpoint in a survival situation.

“General Hyten went on to note that civil society is not prepared to address the challenges associated with an EMP attack.”

As I have warned, for more than a decade, an EMP attack may just be God’s instrument (placed in the hands of our enemies) to bring final retributive judgment upon America for her many unrepentant sins.

That we remain ‘unprepared’ is quite telling. In our arrogance and hubris we, still, believe (falsely) that America is invincible and shake our fists in the face of God at every turn.

He, as always, will have the final say: And it won’t be good for America.

This threat has been well known for the past 20 years and nothing has been done during that period. The same period that we spent three trillion dollars engaging on Middle East conflicts. If an EMP attack occurs and the USA is destroyed we have only our so-called leaders to blame for it.

Sadly, what you say is true. Our leaders have spent trillions of dollars in stupid war ventures and nation building in the Mid East when all of that money could have been used to make our electrical systems more resistant to an EMP attack. I could write pages about the stupidity of President Bush for wasting Trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives for his stupid war on Iraq for it’s bogus “Weapons of Mass Destruction”. What an Idiot.
IF we can waste Trillions of dollars of American taxpayer money fighting wars for God knows why and doing nation building for nations that don’t give a damn about us, surely we could spend needed money on protecting our electrical systems from an EMP attack.
