Macron Honors Nazi Collaborator Petain, Who Was Responsible for Deportation French Jews to Death Camps During World War II

60

It is easy to see why Macron has chosen to do this. He has overwhelmed France with Muslim migrants who have made the country unsafe for Jews: Islamic Jew-hatred is in the Quran. And instead of acknowledging what he has done and working to defend France as a free society, he has doubled down, courting the Muslim community for votes. The Muslims in France will love the honoring of Petain, just as Muslims in countries such as Egypt and Turkey revere Hitler and make Mein Kampf a perennial bestseller. And so they will turn out in droves to vote for Macron and his allies. It’s cynical, it’s evil, it’s pandering to savagery and hatred. It’s France today.

“Macron’s Praise for Nazi Collaborator Marshal Pétain Shocks French Jews,” by Simon Kent, Breitbart, November 8, 2018:

French Jews have reacted in horror at reports President Emmanuel Macron will honor Marshal Philippe Pétain, the disgraced Nazi collaborator who authorised the deportation of tens of thousands of Jews to death camps.

Story continues below advertisement

Marshal Petain’s name appears alongside seven other military chiefs to be honored Saturday in a ceremony at the Invalides monument, site of Napoleon’s tomb, to mark the centenary of the end of World War 1.

Petain led the French army to victory in Verdun in 1916, but gained lasting infamy and a conviction for treason for his leadership of Nazi-sanctioned Vichy France during World War II.

In 1940, with France under attack from Germany, Pétain was appointed vice-premier. He later asked for an armistice, upon which he was appointed “chief of state”, enjoying almost absolute powers….

Touring battlefields ahead of a formal commemoration of the Nov. 11, 1918, armistice that ended the war, Macron said Petain was still worthy of the honor for his leading role in the World War I victory despite his later record.

“Marshal Petain was also a great soldier during World War I” even though he made “fatal choices during the Second World War,” Macron said in the northern town of Charleville-Mezieres.

“I consider it entirely legitimate that we pay homage to the marshals who led our army to victory,” Mr Macron continued.

France’s leading Jewish organisation, Crif, responded immediately, telling the Associated Press it was “shocked” at the decision.

Crif leader Francis Kalifat said, “the only thing we remember about Philippe Petain is that he was, in the name of the French people, held in national disgrace during his trial in July 1945.

“I am shocked that we can honour a man who, it must be remembered, was himself responsible for the deportation of Jews from France, including the Vel’ d’Hiv raid .”

France’s participation and responsibility in the Holocaust has long been a sensitive issue in France and was only officially recognised in 1995 by then president Jacques Chirac.

In 1995 he admitted that Petain’s Vichy puppet government was the French state. Chirac spoke at the Vel’ d’Hiv cycling stadium in Paris, known for a 1942 roundup of French Jews that saw 13,000 people deported to Nazi concentration camps, a third of them children.

Fewer than 100 were to survive the war.

The Frogs are drawn to the muzrat.
Even Napoleon has an interest in the pisslamic world (he had no religion but stated his preference to islam over Christianity not unlik hitler) and am proud that the Brits put an end to him.
De Galle was fully signed up with making France pro muslim and integrating muzrats into European society. Macron is no different and is one of the main drivers behind a No borders Europe and the Marrakesh Treaty which gives the Muzrat inhabitants of sub Saharan Africa and Arabia the right to live in Europe.
If Marine le Pen does not succeed in winning the next general election then France is Fin.

You, sir, are correct as usual. Off this particular topic …but a question that I’ve been meaning to ask: Why has the UK declared that it will NOT offer asylum to Asia Bibi? Falsely accused of “blasphemy”, in jail awaiting execution for eight years. Finally, the pakky court overturned her conviction, due to false testimony being proven …. Now, she and her family being in pakkyland .. are definitely not safe. Yet, the UK has REFUSED her sanctuary. What’s the talk on this, among your patriots?

It’s disgusting. She is obviously not a moslem, but a christian woman who has been incarcerated, tortured by the threat of a death sentence for eight years, among other tortures.
Yet she has never renounced her faith. She’s a brave, strong woman to make it through that.
She is a real refugee, and as such is the kind of person who truly deserves whatever help we can give her.
But britain is only taking in the damned moslem scum, who are intent on destroying us and our country, and in no way shape or form should be here.

You mean Irv, the man that committed a clintonian style suicide? Yes, he was so despondent that he slit his own throat, from ear-to-ear and threw himself off of a building … all of the time, being closely monitored by the LA poeleese, while being held in that city’s detention center awaiting trial. About time for a rebirth of the JDL.

As far as I know the UK government has made no statement saying that they would not give Asia BIBI asylum in Britain. If it had then it would be known as it is big news over here with a big sympathetic outpouring for the plight of this much persecuted Christian lady.
I think the government would just be shooting themselves in the foot if they did so casually deny her so I wouldn’t believe that piece of suspect news without further clarification.
JUSTICE & ASYLUM FOR ASIA BIBI!

I do hope this fine lady and her family does come and live in England though and I wish them peace and prosperity.

I think we will see what’s happening more clearly about the fate of Asia Bibi next week.
The last thing I heard was that Pakistan is not letting her leave the country. Which of course could be a death sentence in itself.

Only two nations offered she, and her family, asylum. They have chosen one of those two. I have no idea which two nations did so. If the US is not one of them, I’m ashamed. One of President Trump’s lawyers has been working on this case for many years, not as Trump’s lawyer … but on another venue (Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice).

Dave Glynn

I do hope Britain does offer her asylum but I think she would be much safer in the USA as Britain has the potential to turn into a battle ground anytime soon where safety can not be guaranteed.

According to Wilson Chowdhry, chairman of the British Pakistani Christian Association, “Asia and her family have now decided to take up one of the offers for asylum from a western country.”
David, I do not know what two countries offered asylum. I do not know if the USA was one of them.

All that I know is what I read online (Will Roger’s line on “papers” brought into the current timeframe). Supposedly, she has been placed back in prison, for her own protection. And, although pakkyland’s supreme court cannot be overridden, the government has allowed two sharia law judges the opportunity to intervene. It ain’t over ’til it’s over.

Yes as Trudeau of Canada lies to Canadians and appears to apologize to Jews for turning away a ship of fleeing Jewish families during the holocost years,
MEANWHILE. Giving Hundreds of millions of tax dollars to Hamas and terrorist groups whose only goal is to kill all Jews
He is far worse than Macron
He is an enemy of all Jews
Along with being a fascist who wants to collect hundreds of millions of Canadians
Banking and personal information without their knowledge to create an
iNFORMATION DEPARTMENT. Sound like the fascists we all know from history and

I’m glad you brought Trudeau’s supposed apology for Canada’s turning away Jewish refugees in 1939. His words were mere platitudes of insincerity, a ruse. His true intent is to validate the number of Muslims, so-called refugees into Canada. Moreover, now, when he permits more Muslims, he will use the inhumane event of 1939 which affected Jews to validate his ruse/pot to allow more Muslims, alleged refugees to pollute the nation, Canada.

It is a given, Trudeau despises Jews and the State of Israel.

As said, he Canadian tax dollars are supporting the terrorist faction Hamas and likely others. He is a dangerous man, a dullard but that will not stop him from the destruction of the Jews, Israel and needless to say, Canada.

‘Relentless’ Siege: Anti-Semitic Acts in France up 69 Percent During 2018
By Simon Kent
11/9/18

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said anti-Semitic acts in France jumped by 69 percent in the first nine months of 2018, announcing the rise on Friday as Europe pauses to remember the 80th anniversary of the infamous “Kristallnacht” of Nazi attacks against Jews.

Macron and Petain are one of the same; pro-Nazi with a twist of Liberal-Progressivism. As my late Uncle, who was in D-Day once stated, if you are in a foxhole with a Frenchmen while the Nazis were attacking, shoot the Frenchmen. Yes, there were brave French patriots but discerning one from the other was often futile.

The French and British tried. Let’s not forget they declared war on Nazi Germany. Some of the French soldiers in the Maginot Line refused to surrender and the Nazis were forced to blast them out.

Agreed, there were many courageous French, including women. Not to mention France and Britain were decimated during the War to end all wars; hence, did there upmost to avoid the Second. Then, there were the collaborators Petain being one of the numerous betrayers.

Agreed. But he would only have lasted till the Resistance caught up with him.

There is a Time-Life pictoral book available called “The Resistance in World War Two” with a wealth of photos from that era. The last page shows a Nazi collaborator being dispatched by a firing squad, to the extent that the ropes holding him against the post are completely severed by the massive number of rounds used. Very heartwarming, I must admit.

With a tough, capable leader, it might still be possible to salvage it. For the sake of those who are not caving in, who see the truth, I hope so.
And it’s the same here. With a good leader, and a decent war plan, because it will take force now, its gone too far for words, we can claw our country back. It’s still not too late.

If the people of France don’t get what they have voted for fair and square in a first world democracy then it would collapse the government anyway.
