At least 42 dead as Muslims attack cathedral in the Central African Republic

36

Here is yet another horrific incident in the bloody spread of the jihad war that is raging through the Middle East and Africa. Little is reported in the media about the vicious Muslim fighters in the Central African Republic — unless, of course, the Christians fight back. Then the media wring their hands, shake their fingers and decry the islamophobia. Meanwhile, jihadists are beheading children in the Central African Republic — and this is not the first time they have attacked churches and slaughtered the worshipers inside. So watch for the next enemedia article about the “islamophobia” of the Christians in the CAR.

“At least 42 dead in cathedral attack in Central African Republic,” Catholic News Agency, November 16, 2018:

Alindao, Central African Republic, Nov 16, 2018 / 04:05 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- At least 42 people have died in an attack Thursday on the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Alindao, in the Central African Republic, according to local reports.

Story continues below advertisement

At least one priest was among those killed in the Nov. 15 attack. Some unofficial estimates have said the death toll could reach as high as 100. Many of the people killed were refugees sheltering at the Church.

The CAR has suffered violence since December 2012, when several bands of mainly Muslim rebel groups formed an alliance, taking the name Seleka, and seized power.

In reaction to the Seleka’s attacks, some Central Africans formed self-defense groups called anti-balaka. Some of these groups, mainly composed of Christians, began attacking Muslims out of revenge, and the conflict took on a sectarian character.

According to reports from Aid to the Church in Need, ex-Seleka forces attacked the cathedral, reportedly in retaliation for a Muslim who was killed the day prior by anti-balaka.

The priest killed in the attack was vicar general of the diocese, Abbe Blaise Mada. Aid to the Church in Need added that some reports have said second priest, Father Celestine Ngoumbango, was also killed, but this has not been confirmed.

Houses in the neighborhood were also looted and burned.

Many Catholic churches in the country provide refuge to Muslims and Christians alike fleeing violence, included churches in the Diocese of Bangassou, some 140 miles to the east of Alindao, where several Catholic institutions have taken in displaced Muslims who face violence at the hand of anti-balaka.

Anti-balaka killed more than 100 Muslims in Bangassou in May 2017 before United Nations peacekeepers intervened, and since then the city’s Petit Seminaire Saint Louis has been home to about 1,600 displaced Muslims. Another 2,000 Muslims have taken refuge at St. Peter Claver Cathedral in Bangassou….

Biblical prophecy.

Sadly, prophecy is a subject increasingly less taught and preached on in most American churches. In some, the very mention of prophecy is mocked and vilified – if not ignored altogether.

At least a third of the Book is prophecy: how can one ignore this volume of whole-counsel-of-God material?

Jesus Himself spoke prophetically of these days … yet His warnings are ignored by many.

Indeed. Some ministries are doing critical, albeit limited labor to aid those persecuted – often in dangerous situations. Many are coming to Christ in foreign lands …. but in many American churches the “ex cathedra” proclamations of Rick Warren and other mega-ministers only make congregants feel good about themselves.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

It could be tomorrow. It could be today. It could be centuries away. However, not knowing that:

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

If I were asked why I thought it was very soon and certainly not any great distance in the future, I would list 5 distinct things out of many that lead me to believe it to be so : 1] Israel formed a nation again in 1948, 2] Jesus gave the parable of the fig tree and the generation ( 70 – 80 yrs. ) it spawned would see the last days ( referencing Israel’s rebirth – the fig tree ), 3] Ezekiel 47’s prophecy of the Dead Sea waters being healed in the last days, and is now happening, 4] The Rev.12 sign in the heavens fulfilled Sept 23/17, and 5] The activities out of the Vatican under Pope Francis is fulfilling the end time’s scripture describing the harlot riding the scarlet beast ( Rev.17 ).
There is more as well. The great falling away that happens before Christ’s return, could easily be argued by the fact that the West has been declining spiritually for decades and embraced humanism over God.

Rev.13 describes a world government imposing harsh totalitarian ideology over all the people. We have the EU/UN plans and agendas leading to a one world government, a one world religion, and a one world financial system, all backed by a one world armed force.

New genetic technologies are progressing at a rapid pace ( Crisprs ), and its developers are touting the capability to greatly alter man’s DNA. If possible genetic contamination was a factor in Noah’s time and the building of the Tower of Babel offended God because of man doing whatever his heart lead him to do, how much more could Crispr technology offend Him.
One or two of these occurrences would not be enough to draw any conclusive position. Jesus did say that no one other then the Father knows the day and hour, but He said many times to be watchful of the ” seasons ” and that by doing so, we would not be unawares of His return. I think there is a preponderance of evidence, factual evidence, that strongly suggests He is at the door.

Numerous times, over the past twenty centuries, scholars have seen the signs. It could be right now … as I type, or it could be centuries off. The important advice …..

35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Upon re-reading my comment, I think I came across a little too argumentative. My apologies. I agree that many over time have made calls concerning His return, only to be proven wrong and actually hurting the veracity of the scriptures. What their motivation was can certainly be questioned, but it’s also obvious that at the least, their knowledge of the scriptures was inadequate.
Just as ” A ” must be completed before moving to ” B “, so it is with the scriptures and prophecies concerning the last days. Anything proclaimed before 1948 reflected ignorance of the scriptures calling for Israel’s appointed reformation, to the month and year it did.
Can anyone really say that their understanding of all the scriptures relating to the end times, is complete and fully accurate. Of course there are no ” interpretations “, only the truth ; everything else would at best be a half truth and at worst a falsehood.
Was Malachi’s ” Prophecy of Popes ” a falsehood, and, even though he fits the description perfectly, could Francis suddenly not be the last Pope. Was the astronomical/biblical interpretation of Rev.12 incorrect, was Jesus’s parable of the fig tree referring to something else. Could the EU/UN agenda be defeated and bring an end to the concept of a NWO for the foreseeable future. The waters of the Dead Sea could take a long time to heal, and even if they manage to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem, how long will it be in operation until the AntiChrist desecrates it.
Even though we have so many signs pointing to His imminent return, we cannot call the day or hour, only the season. As far as I can tell, we are through the full alphabet of scripture and prophecy, and if His return is ” Z “, we are at ” W ” with only the temple rebuild and the 7yr Tribulation ahead and the Rapture somewhere in between.
Could I or any of us be in error on either side of these issues ; the only honest answer is, yes. Everyone, not just Christians, should be prepared to meet God at any time. No one knows what tomorrow may bring and when our own ” last day ” will come, but like it or not, it will come.

I do not believe that you came across argumentative; not in the least. I have opinion(s) on the time of His return … but I try not to allow myself to buy into my own theory(s). Seriously, I am not the sharpest machete in the shed and, most of the time, I should be faded.

I hear what you are saying ed, and I agree. Can you imagine going back in time, to the days just after 9/11, and telling the country that in 15, or so, short years, about half of the country have forgotten or dismissed what just happened, that muslims are being elected to state and federal offices, and that the next president would set up a prayer room for muslims in the WH and openly advocate that the future belongs to islam. You would have been locked up for your own protection. What the hell happened.

And so forth.

Muslims slaughtering Christians, Jews, Atheists, Hindus, nobody cares. Someone puts out a fake story about a chinese man ripping a muslim teen’s hijab off, suddenly there’s global outrage.

Even the PM of Canada adds his pretend “righteous indignation.” When it turns out to be false, he doubles down while the media scurries back into their hidey-holes.

It’s easy to appear brave by taking a ‘tough stand’ on a non-event which is no threat to you. Try taking a tough stand against real evil, actual hatemongers and mass murderers-like the Muslims.

And yet these same feckless mealy-mouthed clowns spew hatred against those of us who dare to point out that Islam is a dangerous genocidal cult of hate, racism and misogyny and we’re vilified for it.

If they’re not going to do anything about the Jihads in other countries, what are they going to do when the Muslims start slaughtering people in mass numbers in our own countries? You’d think they’d have the balls to at least denounce Islamic terrorism but they won’t even do that.

We need to replace these traitors and cowards with real leaders who will face this threat head on and seek nothing less than its elimination the way we did with past fascist ideologies.

The UN was created with a 3 fatal flaws.

Allowing dictatorships and fascist muslim states in the UN.
Allowing communists states in the UN.
Allowing Russia and China to have veto power.

All free countries should withdraw and stop all funding at once to the UN.
All free countries SHOULD reform under NATO, with one minor change.

Replace Turkey with Israel.

It appears many are being martyred for the Christian faith. Brave souls. In this day and age, people are being killed for their religious beliefs. Killed by mobs of barbarians.
We are not told. We must hunt for the truth.
And a former American Presidential hopeful says that the immigration situation in Europe will lead to the rise of the right.
What exactly is wrong with the right anyway? Is there to be only one ideology now?
Should we avert our eyes and not care, about these daily massacres?
How can anyone expect normal people not to become upset?

How can we malign the religion of peace? A story from a few years ago, I think in Nigeria, Two wonderful, brave muslim soldiers held a Christian schoolgirl up by her feet in front of her schoolmates. Another soldier with his sword split the child in two from crotch to neck. They then invited the other school children to become muslims.
How do you think your children will be treated when America is poisoned by sharia? How could we put the moslem enemies in positions of judges and political power? INSANE a palestinian in congress!
