What makes them anti-Semitic? They all trade on a narrative of lies about Israel. By omission and/or commission, lying about Israel is lying about Jews. That’s antisemitism.

The Republican Party of Virginia accused the Democratic nominee for a state congressional district race of being a “virulent anti-Semite.” Leslie Cockburn received the Democratic nomination for the 5th Congressional District race on Saturday afternoon, during the Democrat’s convention in Farmville, Virginia.
The statement noted the book that she authored with her husband, Andrew, titled “Dangerous Liaison: The Inside Story of the U.S.-Israeli Covert Relationship.” According to the statement, Democrat “Cockburn’s book advocated for the inherently anti-Semitic belief that Israel controls America’s foreign policy.”

Truman recognized Israel the day after the UN recognized Israel as a sovereign state. He was a Democrat. Further when one thinks of Jewish commitment to and support of civil rights for blacks, the idea of blacks vilifying Jews is truly repulsive to me. Further when many of our black troops liberated near-death Jews from Bergen-Belsen concentration camp many of those Jews, who had never before seen a person of African descent, literally thought they were part of God’s angelic host sent to free them. What a sad development this is, and sadly it accelerated during Pres Obama’s terms in office.????????

Until Truman integrated the US Army in ’46 it was the soldiers, who were all white at the time, that liberated the Jews from the Kamps. My father was in the 99th Infantry Div and liberated some of the Kamps. “Black troops…” did NOT liberate Jews….
