This is more of the poison fruit of the left’s increasing embrace of Jew-hatred, as part of its alliance with Islam and jihad. The left’s vicious hostility to Israel and ready dissemination of “Palestinian” jihad propaganda demonizing Israel with fabricated atrocities creates an environment in which no Jew is safe anywhere in the world — and only underscores the need for the State of Israel.

TEL AVIV – The killing of a 24-year-old Jewish man in Chicago’s West Roger’s Park neighborhood is the second murder in as many days and has rocked the local Jewish community.

Moscowitz, a kosher supervisor at a local grocery, was out taking a stroll near Loyola park when he was murdered by a masked gunman on Monday night, coinciding with the Simchat Torah holiday.
Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said it was too early to conclude that the murders were hate crimes, despite the fact that Watts was gay and Moscowitz an observant Jew.
Rabbi David Kotlarsky, who heads the nearby Chabad community of East Lakeview, said that the entire community was in shock over Moscowitz’s death.
Kotlarsky, a close friend of Moscowitz who studied in the same yeshiva, said that the murder had triggered fear in the community.
“We’re in total shock, it’s unreal that it could happen here,” Kotlarsky told the Jerusalem Post.
“The community is feeling hurt and we’re all in mourning. For it to happen on Simchas Torah, to such a special soul — that [God] took him on such a day — was very challenging,” he said.
“We went from extreme happiness to mourning: it’s unbearable.”…

I live not far from where they were both murdered—Moscowitz worked at my local grocery store—and the Chicago police now seem to think that if these murders are hate crimes, they are hate crimes against white people, period. Perhaps the murderer was triggered specifically by Moscowitz’ hat, or the perception that the other victim was gay, but it very well could be any one of us.
Chicago is undergoing an explosive trial right now because a white cop freaked out and shot a black teen 16 times. The jury is still in deliberation, and the police are preparing for massive rioting after the verdict is announced. If you see the picture of the suspect, he looks, frankly, like a mental case. Rogers Park is full of Orthodox Jews, and the place has been pretty much safe and violence-free in the heavily Jewish neighborhoods, barring some spray paint. In the past year, however, the spread of Section 8 housing has introduced black gangsters into almost every neighborhood–even those that have been relatively crime-free for decades. Violent crime is now up 40%, black gangs are running riot in the streets, and anyone with any sense is moving the hell out.

In addition, Dems are in the process of ‘reforming’ the criminal justice system so that police are micromanaged, forbidden from prosecuting the law, and criminals are released without having to post bail, crimes are ignored, and sentences are reduced to virtually nothing.
In brief, Chicago is rapidly becoming unliveable for all its law-abiding citizens and no longer a good place to be white.

Have you also noticed the trend to LOWER bail? True! They want to lower bail because many criminals have difficulty making bail – class warfare amongst criminals. So criminals can be charged and out on the street to commit more crimes or flee.

Bail is Constitutionally not permitted to be a punishment in and of itself.
Legitimate bail has 2 criteria here.
1) Did the low bail defendant show up for court? If not then bail was too low or should not have been offered.
2) Did any defendant commit other crimes while on bail? If so, then bail should not have been offered at all.
It is a legitimate question to ask or argue if indicators of failure on points 1 and 2 are legitimate. It should not be questioned if indicators are allowable.
IMHO bail failures, both no-shows and further-crimes, should be required to be public information as part of the judicial retention process. Either election or retention in any form.
Hey!, keep Judge So-and-So; but they had 50% of bail persons no-show and 25% of bail persons commit further crimes while out on bail. But don’t count that towards questioning their judicial competence.

What motivated this maniac who shot these people, hopefully, will be determined. My suspicion is that there is an anti-Semitic conclusion to all this news. Whether that is islamically derived or simply anti-Semitic hatred is not the entire issue. We are importing a people who consider those of Jewish persuasion to be “apes and pigs” who are to be killed. We are dealing with a world-wide notion that Jews are to be hated, though there is no legitimate basis for anyone to do so. To fail to recognize the major contributions to world-wide societies made by the Jewish people is close one’s eyes to that truth. To understand that the Jewish people are a very positive influence on democratic values and the ability to live a good, healty and industrious life as reflected by the world of Judaism, is the height of studity. Unfortunately, there still are fools out there who can never see the light of day, and they will continue this madness. Very sad.
