I agree with you re Pamela and others, but I am amazed, and after this massacre in the Pittsburgh synagogue, even more amazed by the cowardly Jewish aversion to facing up to the fact and bluntly stating that there are no more virulent haters of Jews than Muslims. In tv discussions regarding hatred of Jews, one on CNN involving New York Times’ Thomas Friedman, and David Frum, I didn’t see one Jew say that Islam and Muslims are the greatest enemies of the Jewish people. No, instead it was Donald Trump the Republicans and their followers – not Muslims whose disgusting Qur’an preaches hatred of Jews, who incessantly threaten to kill Jews, destroy Israel, and lead assaults on Jews in the U.S.. This is cowardice and dishonesty of the highest order, so the cowardly pretense will continue, and attacks on Jews will continue. All the talk I saw in Pittsburgh of “this must stop” and “we will defeat this” is a lot of empty hot air when they will not name the main enemy. I had till about 5 years ago a very good Jewish friend who died of brain cancer. Isaac’s attitude toward North American Jews bordered on contempt. He considered them utterly cowardly for averting their eyes from the real haters of Jews and for deluding themselves that if they were ‘nice’ Muslims might begin liking them. Their lack of understanding of Islam and the Qur’an is worse them pathetic.
