US Religious Freedom Commission Slams UNESCO for Denying Jewish Connection to Holy Sites

15

The UN was created as World War II was drawing to a close. It was supposed to prevent another Holocaust from happening. Instead, it has become a tool of the 57-government Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which has turned it into a hysterical tool of “Palestinian” jihad propaganda against Israel. UNESCO in particular has been so outlandishly anti-Israel that last year it declared that the Temple Mount was a Muslim holy site, al-Buraq Plaza, to which Jews had no connection. So the US Commission on International Religious Freedom is justified to slam it in this case, and the US and Israel are right to have withdrawn from UNESCO. Why should Israel and the U.S. have continued to participate in this sad jihad charade? Now they should withdraw from the UN altogether.

“UNESCO Slammed by US Religious Freedom Commission for Denying Jewish Connection to Holy Sites,” Algemeiner, October 23, 2018:

UNESCO, the cultural and educational agency of the United Nations, was sharply attacked on Thursday by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom for undermining the historic connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.

“The idea that there’s a question about the Jewish historical presence in the Holy Land and specifically at these sites is unacceptable and diminishes the religious rights of the Jewish people,” Commission head Gary Bauer said in a statement.

Bauer was referring to two resolutions adopted by UNESCO on October 10, which refer to Jewish holy sites in the West Bank cities of Hebron and Bethlehem solely as “Palestinian sites.”

“UNESCO has no business pronouncing on territorial sovereignty or arbitrating territorial disputes,” Bauer said.

Consistent anti-Israel bias at UNESCO led both the United States and Israel to announce their respective withdrawals from the agency in October 2017….

It is getting crazier and crazier out there.
I wish we would pull out of the U.N.. They serve no point.
It’s nothing more than a Muslim cheer leading organization.

Jews = civilization and civilized law. The Law is enscribed in their very DNA for goodness sake! I have admitted that I am biased but can you? If you can’t, that’s ok, too. Let’s all just talk this stuff out. Violence is stupid and 100% counter productive. We exist at the whimsy of something beyond us all, it isn’t personal; it seems to really want to be though, doesn’t it?

It is not that you are biased. Facts are facts. Civilized law upon which Western Civilization is built came from a Jew named Moses. Sadly, many Jew haters in the U.N., Europe and elsewhere hate Jews so much that they do everything they can to replace Moses with Muhammad. They associate things and contributions with Islam that date back thousands of years before Muhammad started banging his 9-year-old wife.

Violence stopped the Nazis cold. Therefore, I conclude it is not “100% counter productive”. It has its legitimate and productive uses.

An interesting juxtaposition:

Psalm 137 echoes the lament of the Jews in Babylon Jews who cried, “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither.”

Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Koran.

Moreover, the Al-Asqa mosque is not “the furthest mosque” referred ton in the Koran, as Al-Asqa did not exist during the lifetime of Mohammad when he allegedly was receiving the Koran from an archangel.

Never forget that an attack on the Jewish legacy and history of the land is an attack on Jesus Christ, on the Gospels and on Christianity itself.

UNESCO simply ignores history and Islamic insanity.

Muslims have no real connection to Jerusalem other than that Arabs conquered it in 638 AD after Muhammad’s death (632 AD). The justification for Jerusalem being sacred to Islam is the insane claim, Per Qur’an 17:1, that Muhammad mounted a winged horse-like creature one night (with a human head according to some accounts) and flew to the “furthest mosque”, which was just assumed to be some place in Jerusalem, ie., through the air about 769 miles to the Temple Mount from which he was taken up through the non-existent “seven heavens” visiting. There was no mosque or Muslim prayer site there then. Jerusalem at the time of this absurd air-flight was under Persian rule having been captured from the Jews in 614 AD, then captured by the Byzantine Emperor Heraclitus in 639AD. The name of Jerusalem (or al-Quds) is not even once mentioned anywhere in the Qur’an. On the other hand, Jerusalem is mentioned over 667 times in the Bible. That this ridiculous fantasy has been taken seriously has resulted in enormous death, suffering & destruction – causing even more to come.

The Arabs believe every piece of land claimed via holy war is theirs FOREVER.

Politics aside, Jewish culture is honestly much more fascinating and rich than anything the Arabs could possibly offer. And more original as well, the Arabs just plagiarized most of the Bible into their Quran, twisting Jewish beliefs to suit their own interests.

Just more proof the Israelis should forcefully conquer the rest of their land and establish a buffer between themselves and the barbarians.
