A chaotic scene unfolded as a massive caravan of Honduran migrants reached the Guatemala-Mexico border Friday.
What appeared to be tear gas was fired as the crowd pushed towards Mexican police at the border, CNN’s Bill Weir reported from the scene.

The migrant caravan is now stopped on a bridge linking the two countries as a police barricade set up by Mexico is blocking them from entering.

The 4,000-person strong migrant caravan pushing north through Central America towards the United States reportedly stalled Friday morning at Guatemala’s border with Mexico, where members debated the next step – including the possibility of an impending mass crossing attempt.

100 ISIS Terrorists Caught in Guatemala as Central American Caravan Heads to U.S.

In a startling revelation, Guatemala’s president announced in the country’s largest newspaper that nearly 100 ISIS terrorists have been apprehended in the impoverished Central American nation. Why should Americans care about this? A caravan of Central American migrants is making its way north. Let’s not forget that Guatemala is one of the countries that bombarded the U.S. with illegal immigrant minors under Barack Obama’s open border free-for-all. They came in droves from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala through the Mexican border and for years Uncle Sam rolled out the welcome mat offering housing, food, medical treatment and a free education
A terrorist could have easily slipped in considering the minors, coined Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), were not properly vetted and some turned out to be violent gangbangers who went on to commit heinous crimes in their adopted land of opportunity. In fact, the nation’s most violent street gang, Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), was energized by the barrage of UACs. The Texas Department of Public Safety even issued a report documenting how the MS-13 emerged as a top tier gang in the state thanks to the influx of illegal alien gang members that came with the UACs. At the time more than 60,000 UACs—many with criminal histories—had stormed into the U.S. in a matter of months. Tens of thousands more eventually made it north.
Guatemala has long been known as a major smuggling corridor for foreigners from African and Asian countries making their way into the U.S. Last year Guatemala’s largest paper, Prensa Libra, published an in-depth piece on the inner workings of an international human smuggling network that moves migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh to the U.S. Individuals are sent to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates then flown to Brazil before heading to Colombia. Once in South America, the migrants are transported to Panama before moving on to Costa Rica then a central point on Guatemala. One Spanish news report refers to Guatemala as a human smuggling paradise because it’s so easy to get fake passports. A few years ago, the head of Guatemala’s passport division got arrested for selling fake passports to a group of Colombians, according to a government announcement.
All this makes ISIS terrorists operating in Guatemala incredibly alarming. President Jimmy Morales confirmed it during a recent security conference attended by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as well as the presidents of Honduras and El Salvador and other Latin American dignitaries. Morales said that his administration has captured “close to 100 persons completely involved with terrorists, with ISIS and we have not only detained them within our territory, but they have been deported to their country of origin.” Several of the terrorists were Syrians caught with fake documents, according to Guatemala’s head of intelligence. At the same event, President Morales also revealed that Guatemalan authorities captured more than 1,000 gangbangers, including members of the MS-13.
Many more probably make it into the U.S. via the Mexican border and a lot of them get released inside the country. In fact, Border Patrol agents in Texas have been ordered to release illegal immigrants caught entering through Mexico because detentions facilities have no bed space, according to a news report. Earlier this year Judicial Watch exposed a secret program—started by Obama and continued by Trump— that quietly relocates illegal immigrants to different parts of the country on commercial flights. Years earlier Judicial Watch uncovered a similar DHS initiative that transported illegal immigrants from the Mexican border to Phoenix and released them without proper processing. The government classified them as Other Than Mexican (OTM) and transferred them 116 miles north from Tucson to a Phoenix bus station where they went their separate way. The OTMs were from Honduras, Colombia, El Salvador and Guatemala and a security company contracted by the U.S. government drove the OTMs from the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector where they were in custody to Phoenix. Some could have been ISIS operatives.

Alarming … but obviously Morales offered this information to show that Guatemala has turned over a new leaf and is trying to work with its neighbors against the gangs and terrorists. …
Now … IF ONLY THAT WERE TRUE, IT WOULD BE GOOD NEWS. I hope Morales is sincere and telling the truth, but I would not be surprised if this is just some Baloney Supreme for the consumption of the news cameras. Morales has good reason to lie – unless he is one of them, he could easily be assassinated.

All Democrats and most Republicans support mass immigration. Almost no DC politicians want to take action on any policy or legislation that stops the influx. There are billions at stake. None of the GOP leadership want to actually stop illegal immigration; it’s a lucrative business. Almost all of the CONservative groups and politicians lie about it.
The religious right is also part of the problem. In the past 15 years illegal immigration and refugee settlement has been financially beneficial for them. The prior actions of Ted Cruz, Glenn Beck et al show they are as committed to facilitating illegal immigration as Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Jeff Flake, Ben Sasse, Kevin McCarthy, Lisa Murkowski and the rest of the Decepticons.

From our prior research approximately 65% of the money they get is spent on executive pay and benefits, opaque administrative payrolls, bribes, kick-backs to DC politicians and payoffs to the South American smugglers who bring them more immigrants.
As best it can be determined, approximately 35% ($19,000) is spent on the alien/immigrant child; maybe. It gets sketchy deep in their accounting.

You may recall it was the George W. Bush administration who encouraged, indeed empowered churches to offer assistance to “needy folks” in the wake of disasters, etc. (by whatever definition is applied – name the circumstances) previously provided by the Federal Government – to help save Uncle Sam “taxes”. Undoubtedly included distributing illegal invaders to far-flung locations in America – a do good, feel good activity at best. Churches are horribly delinquent teaching and preaching the truth in Word of God and instead, have chosen to grease the bottom line with money from Uncle Sam and social activism.

sadly there is no democracy anymore under trudeau as he fills us with illegals and is allowing them to vote the minute they arrive . Couple this with the fact trudeau stated publicly in an interview a week or so ago that he has NO INTENTIONS OF STEPPING DOWN EVEN IF VOTED OUT (which I don’t see happening now that the entire globe can vote here with no need to provide I.D. or citizenship) meaning we need Trump in as much as you do because I envision canadians having to turn toTrump to bring your military up here to bring down mohammad trudeau and his terrorists- and I’m being very serious! Yes, I remember Sophia coming across the radar. I would like to sympathize with fools like her. (I was once young and stupid too.) But good grief these people have no respect for the lives of the victims. I saw this many times as a pro-bono. My colleagues would just empathize with all of the ‘protected classes’ – without ever considering that those they empathized with were committing serious crimes – crimes that harmed women, children, old folks, and handicapped folks. They never think of the victims.
Unfortunately for Sophia … she became the victim. Hope she rests in peace, but she gave no thought to the other victims before she became one.

I lost track under Obama how many missing GREEN CARDS there are. I left off at 40,000. At least 2500 Iranians got citizenship for the one sided Iran deal and it goes on and on. I have o doubt there is much more. The latest forced invasion is organized through Soros. USAID is funded by Soros.

It’s not being done quite like that today. We take in very few refugees. When it comes to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, that is still happening because of the Flores decision. You can only hold ILLEGALS for a certain time frame and then you have to release them. Congress refuses to CHANGE that. so we have backlogs. When they are released they vanish into the populace and don’t show up on court dates. They are supposed to show up for court dates to have their situation heard and ruled on. They don’t bother to show up and who knows where they are! We need immigration reform and changes in existing legislation to simply DEPORT THEM. Common sense DEPORTATION !

Unaccompanied Alien Children and Family Units
Are Flooding the Border Because of Catch and Release Loopholes
Release Date: February 15, 2018
Border security includes the ability to remove illegal aliens that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) apprehends, otherwise we are stuck with a system that sanctions catch and release. Due to legal loopholes and court backlogs, even apprehended illegal aliens are released and become part of the temporary, illegal population of people that we cannot remove. This must end now.
Legal loopholes are exploited by minors, family units, and human smugglers, and are a magnet for illegal immigration
In 1997, the former Immigration and Naturalization Service entered into the Flores Settlement Agreement relating to the detention and release of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) . The Flores settlement agreement has now been litigated for over twenty years, spawning multiple onerous court decisions that handicap the government’s ability to detain and promptly remove UACs.
Under the Flores Agreement, DHS can only detain UACs for 20 days before releasing them to the Department of Health and Human Services which places the minors in foster or shelter situations until they locate a sponsor.
When these minors are released, they often fail to appear for court hearings or comply with removal orders.
These legal loopholes lead to “catch and release” policies that act as a “pull factor” for increased future illegal immigration.
This has incited smugglers to place children into the hands of adult strangers so they can pose as families and be released from immigration custody after crossing the border, creating another safety issue for these children.
The William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 limits DHS’s ability to promptly return UACs who have been apprehended at the border and creates additional loopholes.
Under TVPRA, UACs who are not from Mexico and Canada are exempt from prompt return to their home country. We must amend the TVPRA so that all UACs who are not victims of human trafficking, regardless of country of origin, can be safely and promptly returned to their home countries.
We must amend TVPRA to limit the period to file asylum claims for UACs to one year consistent with all other applicants for asylum and ensure that these asylum cases are heard only in immigration court (no second bite at the apple).
We must end abuse of the Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) visa to ensure the applicant proves reunification with both parents is not viable due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment and that the applicant is a victim of trafficking. This is necessary as many UACs are able to obtain a Green Card through SIJ status even though they were smuggled here to reunify with one parent present in the United States.
Once released into the interior of the United States, with few exceptions, UACs will generally remain in the country.
UACs frequently abscond and fail to appear for their removal hearings before an immigration judge—with 66% of all removal orders for UACs from FY15 to FY17 resulting from a UAC’s failure to appear for a hearing.
Only 3.5 percent of unaccompanied minors apprehended are eventually removed from the United States.
Over 100,000 UACs were released into the interior from FY16 to today.
The 100,000+ UACs who were released are in addition to the more than 167,000 family units (i.e. alien children who are accompanied by an adult claiming to be a relative or guardian) that were apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection from FY16 to date.
Nearly all of these Family Units are released into the interior of the United States because of judicially-imposed constraints on ICE’s authority to detain the entire family units as a result of recent rulings in the Flores consent decree litigation.
These loopholes create a pull factor that invites more illegal immigration and encourages parents to pay and entrust their children to criminal organizations that will smuggle them in—often while abusing and molesting those children along the way.
In recent months, there has been a staggering increase in the apprehension of UACs and Family Units from Central America crossing the southern border and being released into the United States.
The number of family units crossing the border increased by 625% since last April.
In December, officials apprehended over 4,000 UACs and 8,000 Family Units—an increase of 30 percent and 68 percent respectively since October.
Thousands of these unaccompanied children—particularly young teenage girls—are subjected to sexual abuse by smugglers, criminals, and even government officials along their journey to the United States. Many also never make it to the United States, instead pressed into service at brothels and bars in Mexico and Guatemala.
The influx of unaccompanied alien minors also creates recruiting opportunities for brutal gangs such as MS-13
UACs provide fertile recruiting ground for violent gangs, such as MS-13. While there are no official statistics on the number of UACs involved with gangs, anecdotal evidence suggests this gang recruiting strategy is working. For example, a June 2017 review of UACs in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Service’s Office of Refugee Resettlement found that 39 of 138 UACs (28%) were involved with gangs, with the vast majority of those involved voluntarily.[1]
Other enforcement examples suggest similar numbers. For example, Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Operation Matador resulted in 39 MS-13 arrests in 30 days in the New York City area, 12 of whom had entered the country as unaccompanied minors. Fox News reported in November 2017 that, of 214 MS-13 members rounded up in the span of a few weeks, officials said at least a third would have been classified as UACs.[2]

Interesting how, under catch and release guidelines set forth by the Dept. Of Fish and Game, if you keep it, you are fined. Shouldn’t that same rule be applied to the many illegals here? If they are kept here , somebody should be fined.

Our laws are no longer consistent. That is by design. It will depend on what the agenda is. I don’t know anything about the guidelines for the Dept. of Fish and Game.

Employers aren’t supposed to HIRE illegals but they do! Illegals could come here LEGALLY with a Guest Worker permit but they still don’t do that. They literally don’t care about obeying OUR laws. They are betting on amnesty if they even want to be legalized. Try pulling this crap in Mexico. They have tight laws and they ACT on them.
They deport you! Mexico also doesn’t want people from OTHER countries as part of their populace. Mexicans are very racist when it comes to that…. They reject this multi-culture crap. In that regard they are like the Japanese and want a homogeneous populace.
Think of it this way,when they come here illegally, they have committed a felony. To work here you need an ID and a Social Security number so MORE felonies are committed. They get fake ones or from dead people. If you want to claim social benefits while being ILLEGAL, there are more felonies committed. If you don’t want to work, how do you support yourself? Crime! More felonies! So no matter how you cut it, coming here ILLEGALLY can not be justified. The more felonies you commit, the less likely you will ever be a law abiding citizen when you show NO respect for OUR rule of law. These are precisely the kind of people we do NOT want here.

Law enforcement in America has become arbitrary – directed by political influence and power more than by exercising good law enforcement/procedures. Cops, sheriffs deputies and even DOJ law enforcement field people have their hands tied … FBI for instance. Comey, Mueller, Hillary, and on, and on …
If a nation can’t – or won’t – enforce Constitutionally-driven laws, it is gone … finished.

A frontal constitutional assault on sanctuary city treason, national enforcement of laws against hiring illegals and a sharp drop in illegals will result at once. Security is another issue. A 21st century wall is not just bricks and barbed wire but a system of high-tech sensors, 24/7 surveillance cameras and tough commando response teams ready to chopper anywhere in minutes. Also the usual sort of wall in less remote and more urban areas. Doable.

I recently saw a documentary where a housekeeper from Guatamala infected an Orthodox Jewish man with Trichinosis

This made me wonder what health checks are carried out on migrants who come from countries with poor or lax health regulations, and weak or non existent food regulations. Many of them almost certainly are carriers of TB and possibly many other serious conditions. This applies not only to S. Mexico wants to let these INVADERS through their country, so they can continue on to the USA?
MY answer would be to have Border Patrol/Customs STOP & check Every car, truck, pedestrian crossing into the USA. This was done once before in my lifetime, when President Reagan demanded that Mexico return the body of a MURDERED DEA Agent placed in Mexico, Kiki Camarena. After about a month of that, the “Federales” were able to locate his tortured body, to return it to his family for burial. Apparently he was “snatched” right outside the Police station where he was working.
