Christine Blasey Ford: Nominated by UNC Professor For Distinguished Alumna Award ‘For Speaking Truth To Power’

47

A University of North Carolina professor, Dr. Jennifer Ho, has nominated CBF for the 2019 Distinguished Alumna Award. The full nomination letter can be viewed here.

“…This letter nominating Dr. Blasey Ford is not about partisan politics: it is about recognizing that the simple act of speaking one’s truth, especially when that truth involves sexual assault, is an act of bravery.”

I agree it was an act of bravery, but for opposite reasons. It certainly does take a tremendous amount of courage to accuse an innocent man of attempted rape under oath, before members of the US Senate on national television. Yes, most of us would probably hesitate at this prospect. That might explain why the only genuine emotion a body language expert could detect in CBF was fear.

Story continues below advertisement

In the following tweet, a supporter says that “Christine Blasey Ford is braver than any US marine.”

An amusing (and well deserved) response from a Marine follows:

“(Redacted) Can confirm. I’m a Marine, and I don’t think I’m brave enough to falsely accuse a judge of rape in an effort to derail a Senate confirmation.”

https://twitter.com/modelthemaster5/status/1045560164143661056

“Dr. Blasey Ford talked about how the first few years at Carolina were difficult for her – that her attack at the age of fifteen had lasting implications,” Ho wrote.

One of CBF’s classmates at UNC, conservative writer, DC McAllister, tells a very different story. She said CBF had never once mentioned that she had been sexually assaulted in high school. Instead, McAllister said they had “partied” together and “hooked up with guys at Henderson Street.”

https://twitter.com/McAllisterDen/status/1046093850354372608

Ho continues, “Dr. Blasey Ford giving her testimony, speaking truth to power, was an inspiration for so many of us. Her testimony prompted countless women to share their own stories of sexual harassment and assault.”

Actually, her testimony emboldened other Democratic activists to hop on the bandwagon, with each successive story becoming more and more fantastic.

CBF’s allegations became a foundation for others to build upon.

As the CBF camp sought one delay after another, cracks began to appear in that foundation in the form of a letter from a long-time boyfriend. He pointed out that he had never heard about her fear of flying or of small spaces. Also, in contrast to her sworn testimony, that he had witnessed her coaching her life-long friend, retired FBI special agent Monica McLean, on how to take a polygraph test. His letter led to revelations about McLean’s role and connections to Democratic Party operators.  They had gone too far.

Anyway, the nomination letter was hard to read. CBF had made some very serious accusations against Kavanaugh and offered not one shred of evidence to back them up. But instead of investigating her role in what looks to be a deliberately planned campaign to prevent Kavanaugh’s confirmation, the media has gone silent. And now, she’s being nominated for her “courage” and for providing “inspiration” to sexual assault survivors. What a travesty.

She wasn’t even a good liar. REAL little kids do a better job than she did lying.
With NO baseline anyone can pass a lie detector test.

And you’d think after ALL THOSE YEARS, she would have been able to conjure up at least a better lie. One that didn’t fall apart in ten minutes.

And a huge number of Americans are astoundingly gullible and naive that would believe, let alone admire, a liar like Christine Blasey Ford. The more she talked during the Senate Inquiry, the more I realized that her sob, sob, story was full of holes and substance. To set the stage she informed the inquiry that she was “terrified” to testify. The poor dear! Then we had that ‘semi-quaver’ voice – oh so sad! Those ugly glasses and horrible hairstyle. How could anyone so ‘fragile’ and timid lie to a Senate inquiry?

Afterward she and friends must have split their sides laughing at what supremo liar, Christine Ford, had created. She’s a psychologist, for heaven’s sake, so knows how to play the game she was playing – and now needs to be investigated – but she won’t be because the Republicans are mostly total suckers and astoundingly gutless.

Her story didn’t check out. Her witnesses countered her story on every fact. Her own mother didn’t back her up. She was caught lying. She refused to answer for her actions or inconsistencies during the time period in question. She was aligned with an FBI agent regarding this case. All ok. And now, she’s actually being rewarded for those same actions. This country cannot continue in an upside down manner like this for much longer. This is living proof of absolute social decay.

The FBI agent in question is none other than Monica Maclean, the person who she coached for the lie detector test. It was in Monica’s house that Blasey Ford drafted and sent the letter of complaint to Senator Feinstein. This FBI friend (co-conspirator?) was sitting in the Senate behind Blasey Fordin the hearings.

You call Ford’s act “testimony”? And an act is all it was. It sounded more like the bleatings of a reformed drunk or drug addict or possibly the winning entrant in a liars contest.

Have you ever noticed that those who make the most outrageous accusations against others usually have the most to hide?

How do they know she was speaking the truth? Not one thing she alleged could be corroborated, not by her “life long” friends or anyone else.

Ms. Blasey-Ford needs to join the liar’s club and she can bring her good friend Monica McClean the retired FBI lawyer who helped her concoct this whole story. Then of course we have the lovely Soros/Steyer misfits who have screaming fits. Then there’s the money which I’m sure will be deposited in a bank Ms. Ford’s accounts. Have to see which family members are holding the money.

Now there are many of us believe the whole thing was b.s. Shame on you Ms. Ford for pulling off a prank.

Btw Ms. Ford you should stop drinking. You have the skin of a 70 year old.

If any conservative accused a Dimm of this exact same thing, in the exact way, the Dimms would have hounded them out of the hearings…..

Its probably not as hard as one might think, telling lies to Congressmen and being questioned by them. Ford’s advantages to help cover her deception, were experience in manipulating results of lie detector tests gained through dozens of practice tests, and best of all, experience in planting false memories in consciousness through hypnosis and self-hypnosis. She was after all an educated psychologist. She could not however, get anyone else to give credence to her lies by lying themselves.

I agree with you and now to my amazement Donald Trump has added to the adsurdity and ‘bending’ of truth. Regarding the Saudi journalist, Khashoggi, I am further frustrated, distressed and a bit disgusted to see and hear Donald Trump talking utterly naive and gullible trash about Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his possible involvement in the mysterious disappearance and possible savage murder of journalist Khashhoggi. So in Trump’s mind all this lying Muslim crown prince bastard has to do is “firmly deny” knowledge of the death of Khashhoggi – INSIDE the Saudi consulate in Ankara! – and this represents a credible alibi for the crown prince’s claimed ignorance of what happened to Khashhoggi? And then to make matters even worse and even more stupid, Donald produces the ‘wondrous’ theory of “rogue killers” murdering Khashoggi “Rogue killers” working INSIDE the Saudi consulate!! Now just think of that! He’s creating an alibi for this blood, lying Muslim crown prince! – and the crown prince must be gloating over deceiving yet another ‘infidel’.

Has Trump no knowledge of how tight and ruthless a control this royal family has on how things are run in the kingdom? Does he not know that if it suites them, to take international heat off themselves they will execute the men who they ordered to murdered Khashoggi – after they confess to their crime? I wish that instead talking nonsense, Donald Trump would do as I’ve done, study Islam and read the Qur’an. He’d discover that deceit and lying is a way of life for serious Muslim believers when dealing with ‘infidels’.
