Of all the anti-Israel Jewish groups, none are more repulsive and vicious than J-Street. The American ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, referred to members of J-Street as “worse than Kapos.” Senator Ted Cruz has called the organization “rabidly anti-Israel.” Former Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz has said that “J-Street has done more damage to Israel than any other American organization.”
J-Street was founded in 2007, in part to weaken AIPAC. They receive funding from George Soros and other anti-Zionists. The members of J-Street describe themselves as “the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans who want Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the Jewish people.” They are lying. On the contrary, J-Street is a political home for anti-Israel and pro-Jihad Americans, who are hell-bent on destroying the world’s only Jewish state.
J-Street has done tremendous damage to Israel’s relationship with Jewish young people in the United States by vilifying Israel on college campuses and providing support to the BDS movement. J-Street has also played a significant role in ruining Israel’s relationship with the Democrat Party by using their immense influence to have Democrat lawmakers support their anti-Israel policies. J-Street has lobbied Congress to fund the “Palestinian” Authority, despite its support of terrorism against Israel. J-Street also aggressively lobbied for the genocidal Iran nuclear deal. J-Street’s members have slandered Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump, and they have hosted rabid Israel haters, such as Bernie Sanders, at their banquet dinner.
However, J-Street has reached a new low by openly aligning with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas directly. J-Street’s leaders visited Abbas at the PA’s headquarters in Ramallah. Abbas expressed to the J-Street delegation his “appreciation for their efforts to support the peace process within American Society.” How laughable. J-Street’s leaders know damn well that Abbas does not care about the “peace process” and that he is a bloodthirsty terrorist and anti-Semite.
Abbas has a documented history of Jew-hatred, incitement, and terrorism. In his 1984 book, Abbas dismissed and minimized the Holocaust. Abbas referred to the figure of six million Jews being murdered in the Holocaust as a “myth” and a “fantastic lie.” Abbas would go on to say that the Holocaust “was not caused by anti-Semitism” but by the “social behavior of Jews” and that “at most 890,000 were killed.” He repeated these charges in a vile speech in May of this year. In the early 1970’s, as treasurer of the PLO, Abbas provided the financing to carry out the 1972 terrorist attack against the Israeli Olympic team in Munich. To this day, Abbas’s party celebrates the Munich terrorist attack in speeches and videos.
Abbas has made heinous anti-Semitic statements as president of the “Palestinian” Authority. In 2015, Abbas stated that “Israelis have no right to desecrate our holy sites with their filthy feet” and that we “welcome every drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem.” In 2016, Abbas’s advisor on religious affairs, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, referred to Jews as “thieves who stole the land.” Just this year, Abbas’s government has intensified their “pay to slay” policy against Israelis, by increasing payments to “Palestinian” terrorists by 56 million dollars from 2017. Abbas’s government has also implemented a ban on “Palestinians” selling property to Israelis, referring to such a transaction as “high treason.”
J-Street attacks Netanyahu for his pro-Zionism and pro-security policies. Did J-Street’s leader, Jeremy Ben-Ami, attack Abbas for his pro-Jihad and anti-Semitic policies during their meeting? Of course he didn’t. The Israeli government should ban J-Street’s members from entering Israel, since their actions go beyond criticism of Israeli policy. In addition, pro-Israel American (conservative) organizations should have J-Street classified as a hate-group. Israel is America’s greatest ally, and all patriotic Americans should come to its defense, just as President Trump has.
“Abbas meets J Street leadership, thanks group for lobbying work,” Times of Israel, October 18, 2018:
Amid a nadir in US-Palestinian relations, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met Wednesday with the leadership of the liberal Mideast policy group J Street at his headquarters in Ramallah and thanked the group for its lobbying efforts in support of the peace process.
Abbas welcomed the delegation, led by J Street Executive Director Jeremy Ben Ami, expressing his “appreciation for their efforts to support the peace process within American society,” according to a readout of the meeting published by the official PA news site Wafa.
Abbas noted the group’s involvement in signing 112 Democratic representatives of the House of Representatives and 34 senators to a letter sent to the White House calling to reverse the decision to “end vital United States contributions to the United National Relief [and] Works Agency (UNRWA).”
The United States has traditionally been UNRWA’s largest contributor, providing around $350 million (300 million euros) a year, but President Donald Trump has cancelled all support.
In September, the US announced that it would cut nearly $300 million in planned funding for the UNWRA, which it castigated for its practices, and will no longer fund the agency at all….
