WHITE HOUSE COUP: New York Times Op-Ed: ‘Senior Official’ Admits WH Staff Working Against Trump

7

The New York Times published an op-ed from an anonymous source — a “senior official” — who said internal members of President Donald Trump’s own White House were working furiously behind scenes to take him down.

The anonymous staffer claimed to be working for the president — but also working against the president.

Those of us accused of hyperbole and exaggeration concerning the left’s civil war seem cannot be accused of underestimating just how deep the coup to overthrow the Republic actually goes.

Story continues below advertisement

The traitors are not just brazen (like Ben Rhodes bragging to the New York Times about how the Obama administration played us for fools to sell the monstrous Iran nuclear pact), but bragging about their ongoing treason.

The election of President Trump was extraordinary, and extraordinary times require extraordinary actions. It was the people’s election. Americans’ last stand.

President Trump must purge the holdovers. Bring in unconventional but trustworthy aides. NSA chief John Bolton was a good start — there are good, solid soldiers outside of the beltway that would take a bullet for the president; start recruiting us.

America, lock and load.

TRUMP DEMANDS SOURCE...

The New York Times published an op-ed by an anonymous White House staffer who said several working for the administration were, at this time, also working against the administration.

The editorial board for the New York Times used the headling “the Resistance” to describe what was quietly taking place, within Trump’s own administration.

Perhaps this president ought to start initiating lie detector tests for all his staff?

The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers. We invite you to submit a question about the essay or our vetting process here.

President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.

It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.

The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

From Breitbart:

The New York Times published an anonymous op-ed from a member of the Trump administration who declared him or herself “part of the Resistance inside the Trump administration” Wednesday afternoon.

In the sub-headline of the Times article, the anonymous staffer declares “I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.” The editorial board introduce the author, a “senior official in the Trump administration,” with gender-neutral language, but a tweet from the publication calls the author a “he.”

Though the headline uses the phrase “the Resistance,” the author appears to be a Never-Trump conservative in the mold of Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), touting “deregulation” and “historic tax reform” as successes that “have come despite — not because of — the president’s leadership style.”

“We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous,” the individual writes, but “the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.”

The staffer’s definition of what is supposedly “detrimental” to the country seems to be anything other than establishment GOP orthodoxy.

“Although he was elected as a Republican, the president shows little affinity for ideals long espoused by conservatives: free minds, free markets and free people. At best, he has invoked these ideals in scripted settings. At worst, he has attacked them outright,” the staffer writes.

The anonymous writer goes on to admit that on many issues, members of the administration are working against the president.

“Americans should know that there are adults in the room,” the piece continues. “We fully recognize what is happening. And we are trying to do what’s right even when Donald Trump won’t.”

The anonymous staffer assures readers: “This isn’t the work of the so-called deep state. It’s the work of the steady state.”

Finally, the writer finishes the post by heaping praise on the late John McCain, referring to him as “a lodestar for restoring honor to public life and our national dialogue” and accusing Trump of fearing “such honorable men” like McCain.

The op-ed writer is touting the brand of conservatism which 2016 voters thoroughly rejected in primary candidates like Jeb Bush and John Kasich, who won 123 Republican delegates combined (with Jeb accounting for just three), compared to Trump’s 1,725.

This op-ed comes after excerpts from Bob Woodward’s upcoming book Fear: Trump in the White House were reported on in the Washington Post Tuesday. In the book, a number of staffers trash the president, including John Kelly, who reportedly called Trump “an idiot” and said that the White House was now “crazytown.”

Trump responded in a tweet Wednesday, writing, “Isn’t it a shame that someone can write an article or book, totally make up stories and form a picture of a person that is literally the exact opposite of the fact, and get away with it without retribution or cost.”

Apart from this staffer’s anonymous op-ed, the New York Times has published a number of questionable opinion articles since Trump took office. Columnist Bret Stephens (supposedly a conservative) proposed repealing the Second Amendment last October.

The Times’ editorial board also has no problem with outright bigotry. They hired Sarah Jeong and kept her on staff even after a number of racist tweets towards white people were revealed.

Listened to that whole Woodward phone call, Woodword is slow and stupid, kept repeating himself over and over. Don’t know how Trump put up with the moron, I would have told him to shove it and hung up after the first two minutes.

The Woodward book and the op-ed are all part of the continuing obstruction that is being orchestrated by the democratic Party, the anti-Trump media, and all those citizens out there that cannot accept the fact that Trump is the POTUS, and not Clinton. Having watched and seen Trump over many years, especially when he was the darling of the media, I have never seen him as an irrational thinker and speaker, and I sincerely doubt that today he is suffering from any mental disability. Over the years, and throughout the primaries and the election discourse, he has shown his metal. He is, and has always been, a “street fighter” from N.Y.C., and he brings his willingness to take on others who he believes are wrong like no other President before him has. When you examine the accomplishments that only he has accomplished, one will recognize that he has done great things for this country. Unfortunately, because he is not partnering with those from the swamp, such as the media, and he brings to America a practical approach to governing, he will always be in the cross hairs of those people who are looking to protect their jobs and power, with the probable expectation of monetary benefit. Woodward’s book is merely away to generate dollars, and should be seen for what it is. All of this nonsense is fueling the divisiveness that is running rampant in this country. I can only hope that all the people (electorate) are as aware of this consequence when they go out to vote, a vote that should keep the Democrats from office, a vote that recognizes the truth of what that Party is wrongfully doing, with an and intention to do bad things to this great country.

Clinton mafia still active after Trump takeover as they kill another witness to email investigation http://tinyurl.com/y8p9cv5l

They know their hold overs in FBI / DOJ /NSC will help them out !

Unless they are totally purged including Left/Liberal judges to keep out their bias …its uphill task to prosecute them.

So, let’s get this straight. The NYT is expecting the American people to believe there is a rogue staffer very close to Trump, who is actively colluding with other like-minded staffers to bring down the President? Really? If their goal was to sow mistrust, doubt and chaos within the Trump admin, this would be an excellent way of doing it. Create division, make everyone turn against each other from within. This has the appearance more like an angry NYT writer who is putting him, or herself out as an insider, when they really are not. After all, if they have such a strong alliance with other staffers, why not reveal who they are. This story has gotten way more mileage BECAUSE of its anonymous source.

The anonymous op-ed writer has been discovered. She’s a ninety-one year old woman, that just killed a half fifth of Scot’s whiskey.
